ZZ Top the legendary rockers known for their long bushy beards, weird custom made guitars, and their signature hand movements is planning to return to the studio to record their first album since 2003’s “Mescalero”. The band has signed a deal with Rick Rubin’s label American, the same label that Johnny Cash recorded in. The band is planning to go back to old school ZZ Top in the 80’s during the “La Grange” era.

Look like rock is trying to make a comeback to the mainstream. I hope so. I’m sick of pop music taking over mainstream.
ZZ Top rules. They were great back in the old days, hopefully they don’t dissapoint in the new album too. I always respected Billy Gibbons as a guitarist. He’s one of the most unique and underrated guitarist today.
