Cool Video: Me performing Megadeth’s “Sweating Bullets” cover acoustically…

Well well well, I never noticed this video been in youtube. Somebody else uploaded this in youtube without my knowledgement! How cool is that!

This seems to be a popular cover tune of mine. I plan to re-learn this song ’cause I haven’t played this tune in so long.

Now someone has the video that I don’t have anymore, I’ll put this video in my own account too so it can get more hits and views. I remember this Caffe Lena performance, it was a couple of years ago, it was a crowded and packed night as you can hear the loud crowd during the performance.

I know some out there has been wanting this video back online, and by popular demand, here it is, enjoy.

  1. Well hell yeah brother! Now yer talking, we used to listen to this song cranked up to 11 in the M1 Abrams tank when we was blasting the shit out of Saddams towelheads back in the first Gulf War, back when Bushes daddy was president. Driving one of them tanks is like playing games on Playstation, only things blow up for real when you shoot at em. Oh hell yeah they blow up real good! I have me some video I made in them days I want to put up on Youtube but it’s on VHS and I don’t know how to do VHS on the internets, like I got a clip of a depleted uranium shell cutting clean through this camel jockeys gut, and he splits in half just like that, just like you was cutting through butter with a hot knife. And the funny thing was his top half was screaming something about allah in that crazy language them people talk for a good minute and a half after he’s in like two pieces, which is what makes the video so cool. Wheres your allah now, little Akbar?

You got any clips of Marshall Tucker or Skinnerd, or maybe some Little Feet?

  2. Man, those guys are a good band and you do it justice, kid. Really.

I think I recognize you from around town but it’s hard to tell sometimes cus you know how it goes when you’re in the clubs playing and meeting people. But I think I caught you once in Troy or Cohoes or something. Ever play LAnsingburgh?

Give us a shout on myspace if you want to get together for a gig. I’m having a birthday party bash with at least 10 bands. It’ll be at the end of September when the rest of the band is up from NY. Should be fun.
Every birthday party is a blast, my man. Couple years ago I ended up in a blackout stumbling down River St with my pants around my ankles, p***ing in the river until the cops came. Last year I ended up at some chick’s apartment which was cool except that she tasted like Newcastle & cocaine “down there.” She’s a good girl, though.
No mor eof that drinking craziness no more, though, so this should really be a good gig.
The band has a good history but lately has settled down as more local. I always said that Evel Knievel is like a trailer park astronaut.
That’s kinda what the Fleshtones are these days. We’re something the real people can relate to and look up to, ya know?
Hey man, gotta bolt. Catch ya around.
