Yeah, it’s definitely Guitar Hero vs. Rock Band alright. Right after Rock Band announced they get a new Guns N’ Roses song early, the Guitar Hero franchise announced they’ll get the new Metallica album “Death Magnetic” in it’s entirety for “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock” downloadable, so you can jam out to Metallica’s new entire album. The album will be downloadable in “Guitar Hero III” the same day “Death Magnetic” comes out in stores.
While Metallica may not yet be getting their own Guitar Hero video game, them getting “Death Magnetic” on Guitar Hero III is better than nothing, I guess!

As the owner of “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock”, I’ll definitely download the entire Metallica album for the video game as well. Pretty sweet!

That’s cool, but I prefer to buy the Death Magnetic box set. I am getting sick of the bands going through the video games. Within a year, you will see people get extremely bored with the Guitar Heroes and Rock Bands. It is just overkill right now.
