Thought: Willing to give Adamle a chance, and also why he was picked as RAW GM…

You know, if I think about it long enough, Mike Adamle just might be a perfect choice for a RAW GM, I shouldn’t really jump in quick and say he’s going to suck at this role. I should give it more time, watch him on RAW more and then I can judge his performance. RAW wants to go for a different direction. They want to do something that hasn’t been done before, so they picked a veteran announcer to be RAW GM. WWE wanted to give someone who is not that well known a chance and an opportunity to get more screen time. With Mike Adamle being RAW GM, it could turn out interesting and be intense.

Mike Adamle is a legendary sports announcer, I’m sure all the sports fans outside of the wrestling community already knows who the man is. Mike Adamle becoming RAW GM is a ploy to get more ratings. To help attract American Gladiator fans and sports fans to start watching RAW. I think that is the main reason why WWE has chosen him.

To watch the ending of last night’s RAW watch the video below. Watch it quick before it gets pulled down.

  1. You know, I know most people dislike Adamle on WWE. I’m not going to say he’s my favorite. But he hasn’t been completely awful. I don’t think he pays enough attention, since he has called a lot of wrestlers by incorrect names, but he’s been decent on the mike.

I was very amused by him putting a hand on Cena’s back just after the announcement. I just thought it was funny, like he needed a place reference or a cue from Cena.

I’m looking forward to what they end up doing with Adamle. He has a lot of really good potential to become a really good and interesting Heel GM, or even possibly a good Face GM.

Who knows? This opens up a lot of potential storylines or at least storyline tweaks for WWE.
