Report: “Friday Night Lights” Season 3 will debut on DirectTV tonight but not yet on NBC!!!

If you own DirectTV sattelite, you’ll get the opportunity to see the first episode of “Friday Night Lights” for Season 3 tonight. Look on your onscreen sattelite DirectTV guide to see what time and what channel it is on.

Last year, the show “Friday Night Lights” came this close to getting cancelled for good due to low ratings, but DirectTV made a deal with NBC to get Season 3 greenlighted since there are still a lot of fans that watch the show.

Season 3 will be 13 episodes this year. Season 3 will debut on NBC sometime after the Superbowl.

I’m sure the first episode of FNL Season 3 will get leaked on the internet somewhere.

I don’t watch too much cable TV but “Friday Night Lights” is one of the TV shows I love that I watch on a regular basis whenever it is on. I haven’t missed one episode. I watched all of Season 1 and Season 2. Can’t wait for Season 3!!!

  1. I watched every episode of FNL! I am so mad they are just on some ghetto cable company instead of the normal Time Warners like everyone’s has.
What a rip. Now I’ll never be able to follow my favorite show again.

At least Gilmore Girls & Dawson’s Creek are still on repeats.

  3. Hey Tyson, I don’t know what this FNL is but Directv ain’t ghetto cable – it’s redneck cable. Just like Jeff Foxxworthy says, “you might be a redneck if you got a satellite dish.” I always see them pizza plates on the same houses that have living room furniture on the front porch and eight cars and trucks in the yard and maybe a stove or two out by the garage. Every time I drive through deliverance country like up in Washington County I always wonder what those inbreds watch when they’re not snorting all that meth, running from the corrupt small town sheriff, or beating their wives and kids…maybe professional wrestling or tractor pulls or something? Probably a lot of shitty porn too, it’s probably nice to watch chicks who don’t have beer bellies or muffintops and who have all their teeth.

You’d never see those pizza dishes in a real ghetto like Albany because the Crips and Bloods would be using them for target practice.
