John Stamos’s run with “ER” is just about over, the last episode airs tonight on NBC at 8 p.m. So you may ask, what’s next for John Stamos, after “ER”? He is set to star in a play titled, “Bye Bye Birdie”. Gina Gershon is also set to star.
Stamos will be playing a character originated by the Dick Van Dyke film of “Bye Bye Birdie” released in 1963. Stamos will get the opportunity to bring his famous Elvis like musical dream to the big stage.

Will Stamos get on a new TV show or will he get movie roles in the future? I don’t know. Here’s hoping he would. I hope he doesn’t stick with theatre but if that’s what he wants to do for a while, until he gets more work for TV or movies, that’s cool.

I think he’s a great entertainer. I mean I’ll always think of him as Uncle Jesse but he really can sing, dance and act. He was great on ER. Read up on Fancast’s top 5 ER moments- http://www.fancast.com/blogs/tv-news/er-finale-countdown-top-5-moments/?cmpid=FCST_beta
