What C.S. Lewis said is right. You’re never too old for anything. I may have started bodybuilding and guitar playing both at a late age (I started playing guitar at the age of 18) but age doesn’t make a difference to do what you wanna do in life.
I may not have gotten married yet when a lot of people have gotten married at a young age but I’m in no rush for marriage. I have no problem getting married at a late age. I will get married to a nice woman sometime but only to the right one.
If I want to go back to school, get my license and get a good paying job… I can do all that stuff any time.
I used to think I was a bit old to get into bodybuilding but after seeing people in their 50’s working out in the gym… I thought… why not?
I have a lot of goals in life that I wanna achieve and trying my best to achieve them all.

There’s no real inspiration in that quote. Anyone can set a goal. But it’s what you do after setting them that matters. He should have said “achieve” instead of set.
One of my favorite quotes, regarding the setting of, and the pursuit of, goals:
“COMMITMENT means staying loyal to the things you said you were going to do long after the mood you said them in has left you.”
I respect your opinion. C.S. Lewis was trying to make a simple point that anyone can make dreams come true no matter the age. There’s a lot of people out there who worry about their age when setting goals.

Did you know that C.S. Lewis was a Jack The Ripper suspect at one point ?
No I didn’t but interesting, though. I’ll have to look it up and research it. He is one of my favorite authors of all time, though. I love all the Narnia books. Huge fan of the Narnia stories.

My mistake, it was Lewis Carroll. Too many Lewis’!!
Yeah, it was Lewis Carroll, the “Alice In Wonderland” writer. I love the Alice stories too!
