This morning I decided to test out the Ustream on the Ipad, and it seems to be working beautifully. I just quickly tested out the live broadcasting, and after I finished recording, it automatically made the video of your recording. See the test video here, if you want. So even if I’ll be live broadcasting on the Ipad, you can still watch my live-streaming anywhere like your home computers, laptops, Iphones, Ipads or whatever other gadgets you have.
I want to do a live-stream home performance right in this room sometime in the future. I’ll probably cut it down to 1 and a half hour performance instead of 2 hours, though.
I’ll schedule a live-stream performance as soon as I get enough new material written. I’m going to be doing a mix of old songs and new stuff for this performance. Not a lot of musicians and bands do live-stream performances on the internet and I think it’s a good idea to do.
When I’m ready to do this thing, I’ll start promoting the live-stream so I can get a buzz going and try to get a lot of people interested.
Internet live-stream performances is a good idea ’cause if you don’t gig and if you want people to see you, the internet is a good opportunity for it. Instead of performing my new songs at a venue somewhere, I’ll do it all on the internet instead for a live performance.
I’ll keep you updated on this.
