More on confidence with women…

Ya know, after I told those two women at that show that she was either “gorgeous” or “beautiful” to her face… it made me feel real good after I said it. It made me realize that women are easy to talk to and not tough as you think. I need to do that more often. If I think a woman is gorgeous or beautiful… I need to tell it to her face more instead of telling her on the computer. If you tell it to her face, women will respect and appreciate you for your confidence that you had the balls to say it to her. It lets me know that I’m heading to the right direction and already getting pretty far when it comes to being successful with women. It was a pretty awesome feeling to make women smile like that.

I wouldn’t recommend telling a woman she’s “hot” right away. They don’t mind, “hot”. They like being told that too but I learned women like the words “gorgeous” or “beautiful” more. The word, “stunning” works too. You tell her she’s “gorgeous” or “beautiful” with confidence — not trying to sound nervous or anything — she’ll be all over ya before you know it. Tell it to her like you really mean it. You smile when you say it too (which I did).

I really need to talk to women more and it is getting worked on. I don’t really wanna meet a woman off the internet or at the bar/club ’cause my goal is to work on the confidence of meeting women at public places like the gym, the store or where ever. When trying to get dating advice about women… people would try to tell me what topics you can and can’t talk about to women. I disagree. From what I’ve learned about women is that a lot of ’em are willing to talk about any topic. Whatever you wanna talk about to them, they won’t care. Don’t listen to those dating gurus in youtube ’cause they’re full of shit sometimes.

I really need to improve my social skills and stop being a coward. Need to make more guy friends too to hang out with and that’s also getting worked on. Need to change my life and improve myself.

I write this stuff on my blog as a way to remind myself that I need to get it done. The dating scene may not be as hard as a lot of people make it out to be. Treat women with respect, confidence and anything is possible. Some people don’t think I can do it but I’m pretty sure I can get myself hooked up with a beautiful and attractive woman. Watch me. I can do it.

Why do people have to be so hateful and disrespectful pieces of shit whenever somebody famous dies???

Whenever somebody famous and iconic dies… fans & supporters will grieve positively for that celebrity online but like always there’s going to be some people who will come around and talk about a bunch of negative bullshit. They would say negative stuff like: “Why care about a famous rich person when there are more important things to worry about in this world?”, “Nobody cared for that celebrity until they died”, “I don’t know that person so I don’t grieve for people I don’t know”, etc. Blah blah blah… you see it everytime in facebook and everywhere else.

I just never understood it. I think it’s because they are sick of seeing it everywhere in the media and sick of people posting about it in facebook/twitter or where ever so they feel the need to speak out. Maybe they’re just jealous and they feel the need to speak out for more attention… that could be it.

Whenever somebody famous dies and people start talking a bunch of negative crap saying how they don’t care and stuff… I just ignore it all.

The reason that the media reports about celebrity deaths ’cause it is actually important to do and everyone needs to know. Especially the rest of Hollywood, family/friends, and fans. These famous people provide the entertainment for all of us. If they just died and nothing was reported about them in the media at all, it’ll get people wondering. They have to let people know that they had passed away. It’s just the right thing to do.

I may not know these celebrities and don’t have to but they do provide the entertainment for us and they are human beings like us… so I feel bad for any good human being who dies. Doesn’t matter if I’m a fan of that famous person or not. We’re all human. We’re all gonna go at some point so while we are still alive, we should show support and compassion.

Anybody who talks shit about a famous person’s death is pretty much jealous… that’s the only reason why I think people talk shit. They speak out hoping to spark some controversy and get people going.

I may not be a big fan of Paul Walker either but I did show my support and compassion anyways since I’m a fan of Hollywood and film.

Don’t be negative. Think positive and show some respect.

I think it’s a proven fact that people are more interested in reading my movie reviews more than any other topic…

Everywhere I go chances are, I’m going to get people talking to me in person — those who follow my facebook or this blog — and I often get a lot of people telling me that they love reading all of my Hollywood films and stuff. They like the info I put out there about Hollywood and they enjoy reading my reviews. I have gotten people interested in movies and TV shows ’cause they follow my facebook and my blog.

Once in a while, I get a few people who are interested in my political views and bodybuilding topics but it’s all my movie postings that are most popular.

Maybe writing about movies is what I’m best at. I even get a few people telling me I would be a great “movie critic” and could do it for a living… kind of like the next, Roger Ebert. I don’t see talking about movies as a job. I see it as a hobby and something fun to do. I’m just a big movie buff and feel the need to be more open to the public about my thoughts on film and Hollywood.

In order for me to become a movie critic and do it for a living… I would need a college degree for that, I think. Take English/grammar classes in college to improve my writing skills. I think my writing skills is pretty good but still could be a little better. I’ve been studying English/grammar on my own. Anyway, you don’t need to be a really good writer and be good at grammar to become professional at writing, anyways ’cause that’s what you hire editors for. I’m sure Roger Ebert wasn’t the best writer even though he appeared to be… I’m sure he had editors too.

Maybe my main focus should be on movies more? I’ll be doing my top 15 movies list for 2013 this year but I’m gonna wait until toward the end of the year to make the list public ’cause I’m gonna wait to see the new Hobbit movie, “Desolation of Smaug”, then I’ll post the list.

I’m just a big movie buff and love talking about them. I’ve been obsessed with films ever since I was a child. They are still a huge part of my life to this day.

I think my shyness around women is pretty much defeated!!!

I went to see EBJ at the Putnam Den last night… the show was a blast and the band played a really good set like they always do but once again, women were all over me at the show last night. I danced with 3 different women last night. 2 women approached me to dance with them and I approached one myself to dance with during a slow song. I also talked to some other women as well.

On the final song for the night, a woman approached me to dance with her and even though it definitely looked like that she has a boyfriend/husband or something… he was real cool to let her dance with me.

One woman that I was dancing with was really hammered and didn’t know what she was doing but she was still fun!!!!

The slow dance with that other woman wasn’t just a regular slow dance… it was a romantic one actually!

On my way out the door after the show got over with… I went to pick up my coat that I had to pay for to hang up and the lady who gave me my coat back was real gorgeous looking so I decided to tell her that. I said to her, “You look gorgeous btw, I like that dress you’re wearing”. See? I gave her a great compliment and I really meant it that she was gorgeous, she had a nice dress on. She was smiling from ear to ear after I said it and she said, “Thank You”, so I think I just made her day.

I told two women to their face that she was “Gorgeous” and “beautiful” last night.

I’m practicing and working on my confidence… and it’s working. The dating advice from those youtube videos that I watched really works! Confidence is key to getting women… no other way around it. I saw one video where one guy said, “In order to eliminate shyness, just go and do it… the shyness will go away”. This guy was right. I tried it and it really worked.

I think I’ve got it with the women, guys! I’m beginning to see that maybe women do find me good looking and attractive! To attract women on dance floors, just look like you’re having a great time and they’ll approach you! This makes me want to start hitting the nightclubs like maybe Vapor in Saratoga Springs to see what kind of chicks I attract there.

Now I gotta start getting their phone numbers and asking them out on dates. Next goal. See that? I’m actually doing something about the women thing. If I keep it up, I could get myself a nice girlfriend before you know it!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Enjoy yourselves!

Killing rumors…

There’s a nasty rumor going around that some certain people said that I’ve been sending TierOneTalent a bunch of hateful and harassing e-mails… and they even accused me of mailing a harassing letter by regular mail to him. It’s NOT me. Don’t believe any of it as all of it’s just false accusations. It’s just that this guy has been getting a lot of hate mail from people complaining that his Jammy award show was nothing but a disaster. Like I said, this guy can’t take criticism of any kind. He’s been sending all the hate mail to the police and I heard they even thought about turning me in. Those hate mails were NOT from me at all. They have no proof of it and it would be hard to prove.

Dude…. people have all their right to talk shit about your dumb award show… get over it and take it like an adult. The police won’t do anything about them anyway.

Just proves my point that the people behind The Jammy’s can’t be trusted whatsoever.

Inspirational quote by John Lennon…

1426607_236523923177240_2028369308_n

I totally agree with, John!

What he said reminds me of myself which I had to re-share this in facebook and now I’m re-sharing this here on my site.

Don’t believe people when they make claims that your honesty or negativity won’t make you any friends. It’s bullshit!

Your honesty may not be for everyone but you’ll still get people who will respect you for it. While my honesty online over the years have been controversial, I have made new friends and fans out of it. People stuck with me and believed in me. Trust me, I’ve met some pretty cool people out of it.

If people don’t like your honesty and no longer your friend ’cause of it… that means they never believed in you after all that time. When people stick with you and new people believe in you, they are the right friends.

While my honesty maybe tough and brutal… I have a lot of people out there who respect me for that, and I’m grateful. Seriously!

Why I’m planning to do a lot more cover songs…

A lot of people mistakenly view me as an original song guy. Yes, I write original music but I love to do covers too! Some people don’t realize that I did quite a bit of cover songs over the years. When I do cover songs, I like to surprise people with them. I’m not the type of cover song artist who plays cover songs that pretty much every cover band plays. I try to stay away from cover songs that are overplayed like “Mustang Sally”, “Superstition”, “Sweet Home Alabama”, “Brown Eyed Girl”, “Hard to Handle”, etc. I try to do cover songs that hasn’t been covered by a lot of other musicians.

I surprised people with Megadeth’s “Sweating Bullets”, Social Distortion “Story of My Life” and Whitney Houston’s, “I Will Always Love You”. I’ve done several other covers for youtube as well.

I want to do a lot more cover songs ’cause I feel the need to expand my repertoire. After I complete the Lou Reed tribute series, I’ll go back to doing other cover songs. I’ll do songs from every decade of music from the 50’s to today. Just something fun I wanna do.

I’ll never give up original music, though. It’s important to do both covers/originals. Original artists shouldn’t neglect cover songs at all. You don’t have to make the cover song sound exactly like it is on the recording. I always found that wrong. You always want to try to make the cover song to sound like you wrote the song… you want to give your own take on it instead of ripping off the artist, ya know?

I’ll cover songs from every genre of music too. From oldies, classic rock, 80’s music, pop, metal, rock n’ roll, etc. I’m planning to cover some Adele, Lady Gaga or Katy Perry at some point. I also wanna do Lorde “Royals” sometime in the future. You’ll never know what I’ll come up with next.

My cover songs seem to get better feedback than my original music, anyways. My Lou Reed tribute series is getting some positive feedback. I just wanna show people that I can sing pretty decent and it’s showing… not trying to jerk myself off, though. Maybe I was meant to be a cover song guy? I’ll still write original music ’cause it’s my love.

What I love about Lou Reed’s songwriting…

One thing that I love about Lou Reed’s songwriting is that even though the guitar playing for his songs are so simple and basic; however, it’s his vocals that makes his songs very challenging! Do you think me performing the three Velvet Underground songs I did for youtube were easy? Lou only used easy chords for his songs but trying to get the vocals down were a real bitch. Singing those three songs, “I’m Waiting For the Man”, “Sweet Jane”, and “I’ll be Your Mirror” took me a lot of practice to sing. I didn’t want to upload them to youtube until they were perfect.

Next song I’m doing is another Velvet Underground song called, “Heroin”. I’ve been working on that song all day. Even though it’s two chords throughout the entire song, the vocals are real tough to get down… I’m getting the hang of it, though. Lou’s songwriting may have been simplistic but his vocals were pretty crazy.

You shouldn’t knock musicians for writing songs with easy chords. All you really need to write a really good song is just 2 – 4 chords… that’s it. You don’t need to be all technical. It shouldn’t matter how many chords you use or how difficult the song is. It’s about the melody of the song.

I’ll have “Heroin” uploaded as soon as I get good enough at playing the song. This will be a tight one… I’ll try to make this one intense and passionate. If not this weekend, then definitely sometime next week.

10 Things You May Not Have Known About The Brock…

As most of you facebook users know, there is a new game that’s been going around facebook where people post about “Things You May Not Have Known” about them. Somebody will post a list of things other people don’t know about them. If you like that status, that person will challenge and will give you a number for you to list things about yourself. That’s how this game goes.

I decided to join in on the fun and was given the no. 10 so I came up with 10 things you may not have known about me.

1.  Music is in my blood. It is my love. Whether playing an instrument/singing or listening to other music, it’s pretty much all I wanna do.
2.  I once tried to be a horror writer and screenwriter but gave it up until I decided to become a musician instead.
3.  I once met the hardcore wrestling legend, Mick Foley in person.
4.  I once visited the hometown of President Kennedy in Hyannis, Mass.
5.  I once mistakenly joined the Mormon religion and proudly resigned from it. Not how I wanna live my life.
6. I have an addiction to cheese, it’s my favorite food.
7.  Green and black are my two favorite colors.
8. I love to shoot guns but don’t really like to shoot animals. Sorry, not a hunter.
9.  I don’t smoke, drink, or do any illegal drugs. Sorry, not a hard partier.
10. Would like to get myself a nice woman someday. It’s gonna get worked on. Still trying to understand women and learning.

For you long time blog readers, you may already know like one or two off this list.

A lot of people don’t know me well ’cause I’m very good at keeping my personal life off the computer. I don’t talk about myself online too much. Most of my time on the internet is spent talking about entertainment, politics, movies, music, and things like that.

I decided to be more open about myself for this little game for this one time. Figure some of you would want to get to know me a little better so here you go. Enjoy!

About the Velvet Underground song, “White Light/White Heat”…

While “White Light/White Heat” is a great song and I would LOVE to perform it on video; however, this song was written strictly for backup vocals. It wasn’t meant to be sung alone so if I sung it by myself… the song wouldn’t sound right. I would need a couple of back up singers for this one. I don’t think I’ll do that song for the Lou Reed tribute series.

For the Lou Reed tribute series, I plan on doing 10 songs and so far I’ve done two. I’m planning to do 5 Velvet Underground songs and 5 Lou Reed solo songs. I’m not saying what the other songs I’m gonna be doing ’cause I don’t wanna reveal surprises.

This is fun, though. I love doing cover songs and wanna do a lot more of them for my youtube channel. Gotta get my youtube going again. Cover songs are good to do ’cause they really show your talent. I’ve always thought it was important to do both covers and originals.
