My computer kept freezing for the past week or so. Kept thinking it was the internet or something to do with software. Then I realized that it had something to do with hardware. So I opened the computer up and it was really dusty and dirty inside the machine. I’ve had this machine for several years and have never dusted it out ever since I got it. Yeah, it was a real mess. So I went out to Kmart and bought one of those canned air dust cleaner things. So I cleaned the inside of the computer to make it look shiny and nice again. Hooked my computer back up, and the computer was no longer freezing anymore. Things seem to be back to normal. So that’s why my computer kept freezing ’cause it was asking to get cleaned out inside. So if I haven’t been posting much this is probably why. My computer seem to be working good now, I’ll see how it goes from here on.

I haven’t been posting much the last few days ’cause I was having computer trouble. Youtube kept crashing the plug-ins, which is making my computer do weird things and freezing up. So I think I fixed it myself. What happened was, I had to disable the built in chrome shockwave player and install the new one, the plug ins. Seemed to be working fine and the internet seems to be back to normal. Youtube videos seem to be playing well without any crashing either. I didn’t get any help from anybody fixing this error, I did it myself with careful research.

In other news, I’ve just finished reading Stephen King’s new book, “The Wind Through the Keyhole”, which I’m about to post the review soon. I have now finally gotten around to reading Stieg Larrson’s, “The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest”, the final Lisbeth Salander novel.

I am looking forward to, “The Avengers” movie, I’m dying to see it but I’m going to wait for next week to see it. I don’t have cash this weekend, so I’m just going to stay home and chill. Tonight, I’ll probably watch the Marilyn Monroe movie, “Bus Stop” on DVD, a Netflix rental.

My guitar playing is coming along really well. Still studying and practicing timing/rhythm, metronome stuff. If I want to get good at garageband or any music software or play in a real band, I gotta get my timing down to become a better player and stay in the pocket. It feels good to take timing more seriously.

Just pretty bored today. Had a Dunkin’ Donuts cheat meal for breakfast today ’cause Friday & Saturdays are my cheat meal days. I love to have cheat days instead of one meal ’cause I don’t want to lose too much weight and I want to keep the pounds up, getting those extra calories. That’s why I eat whatever I want on the weekends only. I eat clean during the week, on weekends, whatever. That’s my fitness nutrition plan. I’m going to do my chest workout at home later today ’cause I don’t feel like going to the gym.

I’m always gonna get haters, no matter how apologetic I am and no matter how nice of a guy I can be. People are just going to hate, hate, hate. Why do some people don’t like me too much? I can think of several reasons why but the biggest reason, is that people who do nothing but hate, hate, hate, are usually people who don’t have much going on in their life. That is all they are going to do is hate, hate, hate.

So, why am I not a favorite by some?

The big reason is that a lot of people, don’t like the way I post online. My online discussions can be controversial at times and people get pissed when I have differences of opinion when it comes to entertainment news and politics. It seems that I’m only the bad guy when my thoughts are different than everyone else’s.

Another reason could be, is the way I talk about bands and musicians. My honesty toward music bothers some folks. They don’t like me exposing bands publicly for their bad behaviors or they think I am talking too negative about music. I don’t see how I am negative in music. I just tell the truth as I see it. Simple as that.

Another reason is my music. Some out there think I am a bad songwriter, so they want to feel big and tough by bashing musicians who think is bad. Even though I would like it if people would like my music more, I really don’t do music to please everyone. I do it to please myself.

Another reason is my appearance and the way I look. Some mistakenly believe that I am mentally challenged or retarded, but I can assure you that is not what I am. I may have problems physically but NOT mentally.

I am sure there are tons more reasons, but those few are the big ones, I can think of at the top of my head. I know haters will never be aplogetic to me and I know they will never have a change of heart. I don’t blog or play music to be liked or disliked. I do enjoy people, who support me, don’t get me wrong but I sometimes lose supporters who quickly hate me, all of a sudden.

I hate using this blog to defend myself or explaining myself, but I blog to tell the truth about things, and nothing is stopping me no matter how many don’t like it.

The reason I haven’t been posting much celebrity news ’cause Hollywood news is getting way too gossipy lately. Hollywood and celebrity gossip has never been my thing. I never cared for gossip, and this site was never about that.

This site is about giving my opinions and honest thoughts about most things in the entertainment business, but I mostly focus on music and movies. Sometimes I would discuss other topics like fitness/health, wrestling, books, etc.

It’s probably another reason why I got talking about local music and bands more often ’cause there’s nothing else to write about.

A blog is a great way to speak your mind and get things off your chest, which is pretty much the only reason I blog for. It’s not an ego or an attention seeking thing at all. I would only blog something if I have something worthy to say.

As some of you may notice by now, DVD sales are getting lower and lower since Blu Ray is a hot thing going these days. The more you look at your video stores, you’re starting to see less DVDs on the shelves, and Blu Ray shelves are getting bigger & bigger at various stores.

While, I’m planning on starting a Blu Ray collection, I’m only going to buy movies on Blu Ray that are my favorite films. The films that I love. Yesterday, I just picked up, “The Last of the Mohicans” and “Scarface” with Al Pacino on Blu, which those two are my favorite movies of all time. Those two films are in my top ten.

I won’t replace my entire DVD collection to BluRay, only the movies that I love the most! I would like to watch my favorite movies on BluRay with better picture and sound. I’ll just buy the movies on BluRay and sell the DVD versions.

I’m thinking about getting rid of some movies in my DVD collection anyway. Get rid of movies that I don’t care for anymore and just shorten my collection a bit.

In the photos and videoblogs, you would notice in the background that I do have a big collection of DVD’s. I only have a small BluRay collection but looking to build it up soon, but planning to get rid of some DVDS, so my collection won’t get so big.

I just love keeping a library of movies. I’m a movie buff and love Hollywood. So I don’t feel guilty owning a big movie collection. You can only live once, so get all the good stuff while you’re still living, ya know?

It’s what I like to do as a hobby and a passion. I need to be inspired and be entertained.

My ps3 is dead for good. I’m planning on trashing it and buying a new one instead.  I don’t want to repair it myself or send it to Sony. Buying a new one, is my only choice. Which is good actually. I have this fat PS3 system for a good 4 or 5 years, it’s about time for a new one anyway. I’m planning on getting the 160 GB PS3 Slim which will cost $250. I think I’m going to get it this week.

I think I am going to start collecting BluRay discs more. Was going to stick with DVD, but I think I’m definitely going to start replacing my favorite movies I have on DVD to BluRay instead. I was going to stick with DVD but I’ve grown to liking BluRay more. The latest BluRay I picked up was, “Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”. The PS3 plays BluRay discs way BETTER than the regular BluRay player, in my opinion. BluRays look better on a PS3 too.

Happy Easter, by the way. Today, I’m going help my brother and his girlfriend move into their new place, since they just finally moved back home from California. Then Ham dinner with the family, and “Game of Thrones” later tonight. That’s my plan. Hope, all of you out there have a good Easter too.

Well today, I went out to the mall to check out, “The Hunger Games” movie (review coming a little later), and of course, I did a little shopping. Picked up a few things.

I picked up a drummer’s instructional book from Barnes & Noble, as I said I would. I ended up getting, “The Complete Idiot’s Guide To Playing Drums”. Even if I don’t own a drum set yet, I need to learn the drummers secrets so I can become a better guitar player. I got the “Complete Idiot’s Guide”, ’cause the store didn’t have much books on drum lessons. So I ended up getting this one, just to get me started.

Yep, it’s time to start taking rhythm playing and counting music a little more seriously. I believe a drummers book will help big.

Someday, I will buy a cheap drum set ’cause I’ve always wanted to play drums myself, anyway. I also want to play bass someday too. Play all three instruments, guitar, bass, and drums. I can be a one man band, sometime in the future.

Even if I don’t own a drumset, I can still practice with the virtual drummer on garageband, still pretty much the same thing. Most recording software out there, has a virtual drumset where you can play drums yourself.

Not only that I need to get better at playing with chords with a metronome, I’ll practice keeping my lead guitar solos in time as well.

I also picked up “Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” on Blu Ray, (I think I am going to start collecting Blu Ray more) and I picked up one music CD, Johnny Cash, “Bootleg – Volume IV”.

No matter how good of a guy I become, and no matter how positive & nice I get, people will always find at least a few things to dislike about me. I get some folks that don’t like the way I am online. I’m fine with that, ’cause like I said before, I can’t please everybody.

I think what it is it’s because, I have differences of opinions than everyone. If my views and opinions is different than everyone else’s like something in the news, politics,  or even music, that’s when I become the badguy. It seems that everyone on the internet has the same opinions on pretty much everything. Not with me, I don’t have to be like that. I’m just a guy that’s not afraid to speak my mind and pretty confident on being real about things.

So do I get hurt & upset, when people dislike me so quick,when I disagree with them on something? No. It doesn’t bother me a bit. Sometimes, I actually enjoy it when I get people going. Some will accuse me that I do it just to get attention or to get a reaction out of people, sure, but that’s not why I do it. Just to give people a little reality check, that’s all. I never attacked or bashed anybody, it’s just that people can’t take a little bit of honesty.

I like those kind of people that will stick with me, even if they disagree with some of the things I say ’cause they are adult enough to not get upset easily. Sure, I’m not right on everything, but it seems like I’m not allowed to have my own honest opinion just because my web presence is popular. I try my best to not be so controversial, but I have the right to say as I please, just like you do. Doesn’t matter if you agree with it or not. Just something to keep in mind.

With that being said, I don’t think my web presence is bad at all. There are people out there that are much worse than me. Trust me. I’m just a human being, using the internet to speak my mind on stuff just like everyone else.

Hope you’re all having a good Friday. I sure am. I’ve been recording on Garageband on the Ipad, all day long. Yes that’s right, from morning ’til now. I’m done for the rest of the day though. Need to take a break from it. The song I’m working on is, “A Secret Hidden”, that electric guitar song I posted in youtube. I’m taking my time to make that song really good and not rushing it. It’s not done yet, though. I still have ways to go.

This song in a full band is every rock guitarists dream, wait until your hear it. I put in a pretty long guitar solo and everything. I’ll try to finish the rest of the song this weekend. If you’re wondering why my blog has been kind of slow, it’s because I’ve been busy working on music!

I’ll try to blog more this evening. I want to post my “Wrestlemania 28” predictions ’cause the ppv is this Sunday night, yes I’ll be watching it. Since Game of Thrones – Season 2 premiere airs this Sunday, I’m going to have to DVR  “Game of Thrones”, while I’m watching “Wrestlemania”.
