I can understand why this Royal Wedding Friday would be huge for the UK, but the United States should just leave it alone. I just don’t understand the US obsession over it. We have better things to worry about and better things to care about. I’m not trying to be hateful but the US shouldn’t be getting into the personal lives of other countries. This should be the UK’s moment alone. So to me it’s disrespectful to them for the US to be all over it.
When Friday comes, I’m not going to bother watching TV that day because you know for a fact that almost every channel will be airing the Royal Wedding live on the air. The news and the internet will be all over this Friday, all day long. I’m going to try my best to ignore this Royal Wedding bullshit completely. Maybe even try to avoid the internet and TV altogether if that is possible. I’m probably gonna be unsuccessful trying to ignore this Royal Wedding even though if I try to avoid the internet and TV that day because it’s gonna be talked about everywhere I go anyway.
Why should the US focus on something that has nothing to do with us? Why should we have to celebrate people’s weddings when we don’t even know those fucking people? I only celebrate weddings to people that I know well like family or friends if I get invited to one. Again, it’s understandable why this wedding is important and special to the UK, but Americans shouldn’t really give a fuck. Wait until Friday comes, this will be all over the internet, everywhere you click. It’s going to give you a fucking headache.
We got better things to worry about here. The war in Afghanistan is still not over. We have the Donald having this nasty feud with Barack Obama. We have Japan suffering from the earthquake still. Osama Bin Laden and Al Qeada (SP?) are still out there. We can find other things to do than pay attention to this Royal Wedding thing. I’m going to do my best to try and avoid it completely.

I don’t care who starts it or who you are. You can talk to me like a real person in a conversation like an actual adult. To anybody out there who’s nothing but a negative prick to me, no longer exists in my world. I try my best to keep my blog positive, but of course, negative pricks will always come around, no matter how nice I am. Insults and attacks, won’t be tolerated, and you will be longer be allowed to post. The rule still sticks. I treat my facebook page the same way and most people are actually cool there. I’ll repeat, that negative trolls don’t exist in my world.

Happy Easter to all blog readers. Enjoy your chocolate bunnies or ham dinners or whatever you got going on celebrating this religious Holiday. What did I do for today?
Just did some work on homemade shelves that I had other people help me build. Just sanding them and painted one of the shelves. We built homemade wall hanging shelves to put in this room. A homemade built CD shelf, DVD shelf, and a book shelf. I just painted the CD shelf today. Will be putting another coat of paint on it tomorrow. Now that’s what I spent my day doing, actually did some work.
After a nice prime rib dinner, I’m now relaxing for the rest of this evening. Probably going to watch some more “Dexter” before “Game of Thrones” comes on tonight. I didn’t feel like playing guitar or working out since I did all that work on the shelves today. The Greenwich Y was closed today anyway because of the Holiday. I’m going to hit the Greenwich Y tomorrow.
Not much to blog about today since entertainment news is slow on the Holidays. No Superman or Batman movie news yet, they must be taking the Easter Holiday off too.

Some people always wondered why I’m always brutally honest about “music” and “bands”. Well, here’s the thing. A lot of people out there mistakenly think that the world of music is such a “happy” and “lovely” world, all the time. Yes, I agree that music can be a lovely and happy thing, but not always. You have to be real about stuff, ya know. The second you’re brutally honest about something, like say something bad about a band that a lot of people like or something they are doing, you’re all of a sudden, the badguy just because you were honest. This is what I always tried to do about music. Bring out the truth about “things” that people don’t understand.
Music is one crazy world. Obsessive fans will always side with the band, no matter what you say about them. That’s how people interact in the music world.
A lot of bands and acoustic acts, obsess with opportunity. Trying to get to that next level in music. A lot of them want to move forward and get bigger opportunities. As I always say, I just want to enjoy myself. I don’t care about “fame”, “popularity”, “money” or “being a rock star”. I just do this for fun and make myself happy, pure and simple.
I just like writing my songs, playing the gigs, I’m set. That’s all I need. That’s all I want.
This is why some people think I’m a “negative” person when it comes to music discussion, ’cause I like to bring the truth out about things. This is just the way I am. You need to have different feelings when it comes to music ’cause it would be boring if it was a “happy’ world, all the time. The music world is not always “happy”. Everyone is positive about music just to be friendly, not everyone have to be that kind of person.

The Playstation Network is creating controversy all over the web, because it’s been down the last few days. I hear ya, I’m frustrated that it’s still down myself. The Playstation Network refuses to say why they’ve been down, but it’s obvious they’ve been hacked again. They must of gotten hacked pretty badly. Everyone knows they’ve been hacked again. Hopefully they fix it this weekend.
I was going to play some more “Gran Turismo 5” today but that game takes the PNS in order to play it. I could install the new “Mortal Kombat” game and maybe I could play that instead, hopefully that doesn’t take the PNS to play.

My dedication in this video to whales and penguins, which are important animals of this Earth.

So today, I decided to go to the mall for some fun shopping. Didn’t see a movie this time. Nothing good playing in theaters this week. I’m not interested in seeing the new “Scream 4”. I can’t stand the Scream series. I love horror films and slasher flicks, but not “Scream”. I respect Wes Craven for his other work though, the “Scream” series is just poorly written and just boring. I just did some walking around the mall instead.
Today I picked up the new “Mortal Kombat” game since everyone is saying it’s the best one. I’ve played “Mortal Kombat” games for years, so I finally own a “MK” game. It’s supposed to be really good and I’m looking forward to playing it.
I also picked up “Dexter – Season 3 & 4” and “Harry Potter & The Deathly Hollows part 1” on DVD ’cause they were on sale at Target for a good deal. I couldn’t say no to those. I’m sure “Dexter – Season 5” will come out on DVD later this year before “Season 6” starts airing on TV. I’ll buy “Season 1 & 2” on DVD some other time. I love the show “Dexter”, I’ve immediately became obsessed with the show and I just want to keep watching.
Back to posting in the blog, there’s news stuff I need to catch up on. I need to post obits for Tim Hetherington and the TV On the Radio bass player tonight.

There’s a lot of bands out there that mistakenly think when they have a huge fan following, their fan base is mostly long time friends, their family members, and other musicians. I’m sorry guys, but friends, family, and musicians don’t count as fans. Here is why…
Why they don’t count as fans? It’s because, as long as you know the person really well, it’s easier for them to like your music faster and they’ll support you 100%, no matter how good or bad your music is.
The secret to having a successful fan base with your music is regular fans, people you don’t even know to support you. In my last musical run back in 2006-08, I’ve had people come out to support my music and I didn’t even know who they are. It is true that I had “actual” fans to come out to support me before, probably because they are longtime readers of my blog site.
Even people from all over the world has supported my music online, people from other states and other countries. I even have a few fans from the UK. You want regular people to support your music, that’s the secret in becoming successful.
If you’re just going to have friends, family and other musicians support your music, that’s not good, in my opinion. If you want more people outside of that to support you, people you don’t know, then you must promote your music more. I understand the “promotion” side of things more than any other band out there. Maybe I’ll write another blog post soon on how to promote yourself online and off the computer.
The reason you want people you don’t know to support your music, ’cause it’s easier to tell that your music is good. Simple as that. You need a wide variety of people to support your music, not just friends, family, and musicians.

This is a shocking and sad story that hit the national news today.
Check it out, here.
First of all, those stupid idiots that call her a good Mom in this article. She was never a good Mom at all, if she’s going to commit suicide and bring her kids along with her. If you’re going to kill yourself, leave your kids out of it, but this stupid woman didn’t do that for whatever reason. What she did, was a murder-suicide thing. If you don’t like kids, then don’t have ’em. Period.
Secondly, that boy that escaped alive, is smart and did a great thing. That had to be pretty fucking scary for him. He’s brave to escape like that. That boy is never going to forget this tragedy. I feel sorry for him and the father.
It’s obvious that woman was mentally ill and had a lot of problems. RIP to the other three dead kids. This is terrible.
