UFC 115 last night was awesome!!!

I really enjoyed last night’s UFC 115. A few great fights last night. One was the first fight Rory McDonald vs. Carlos Condit turned out great. I was also impressed with Mirk Cro Cop vs. Pat Barry, I think that was the best fight of the night. Mirk Cro Cop is easily starting to be one of my favorite fighters in the UFC now.

As for the main event, Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin, that was a real good one too even though it was a quick one. It’s no surprise to me Liddell was going to lose ’cause I knew it was going to happen from the beggining. Chuck has no fight left in him even though he thought he did. I’m starting to like Rich Franklin too.

Finally, Brock Lesnar returns to UFC after a long hiatus. Next UFC ppv 116 in July which I will also definitely watch. Brock Lesnar is another favorite of mine. Of course, I’m rooting for Brock to retain his title against Shane Carwin. This is a fight I can’t wait to see and it will be interesting.

So you ask who are my top 5 favorite fighters in UFC right now? Here they are: 1) Randy Couture 2) Brock Lesnar 3) BJ Penn 4) Mirk Cro Cop 5) Frank Mir.

UFC drama in twitter: It’s Jenna Jameson vs. Chuck Liddell…

A little feud heated up in twitter between UFC’s Chuck Liddell and former porn star, Jenna Jameson. How did this drama start out? Well Dana White made a post in his official twitter responding to an MMA article claiming Chuck Liddell got fat again. Dana posted a recent pic of Chuck showing off his six pack abs to prove that Chuck didn’t get fat.

Jenna, then tweeted this:

I think its funny that @DanaWhite defends Chuck Liddell like he’s his boyfriend… It’s kinda embarrassing

A little paranoid are ya, Chuck? Jenna’s just joking around and having some fun it looks like. Have a sense of humor, tough guy! Maybe she’s still pissed at Chuck that he beat Tito a couple of times and wanted to poke fun at him for laughs?

This stuff is very funny and entertaining, keep it going!

Edit to add: Btw, I think this is also a publicity stunt to help hype up Chuck’s return to fighting in UFC. It looks like he is returning to fight after all. Chuck to fight Tito again for the third time?

Thought: Dana White should bring back Chuck Liddell for one last match against Brock Lesnar…

If there is any other UFC Fighter that I could see take the title away from Brock, I think Dana should bring back the Iceman Chuck Liddell for another match. I don’t think Chuck and Brock ever fought in the Octagon before. If they already did, then my bad.

Brock vs. The Iceman would have been a good match though.

I’m sure Dana will let Chuck Liddell go for a comeback at some point, but maybe not this soon.

Chuck Liddell is not yet officially retired from MMA/UFC. He has one more match on his contract. The man said so himself. I think he should save that last match against Brock for the Heavyweight title.

Chuck Liddell was one of the reasons I started watching UFC, he’s been a favorite fighter of mine for a long time too.

During his time away from UFC, he’s been training other fighters and training himself as well to keep himself busy.

I’m sure the Iceman will come back to UFC to fight another match, down the road. Just not this soon. I don’t see Chuck being gone for good.

If Randy Couture came out of retirement and took the Heavyweight title, Chuck can do the same.
