If you’ve been wondering why Led Zeppelin has never used any of their songs for the earlier Guitar Hero games or Rock Band, it’s because the band refuses to allow any videogames use their music.
So if you’re expecting Led Zeppelin to release their own Guitar Hero like Aerosmith did, don’t get your hopes up, because it looks like it will never happen.
I guess I was wrong when I said the band would want to do something like this.

Man this blows.
I can understand why, it’s their music, their copyright, bands do what they want with their music.
Maybe Jimmy Page will have a change of heart toward the videogames down the road, but I doubt it. The band probably knows nothing about video games since video games weren’t even around back in the bands hey day.

It’s just as well, the little kids who play these video games wouldn’t know who they are anyhow.

I would disagree with that. All the kids today would know who Led Zeppelin are. Many kids today have been listening to classic rock more than the new stuff. If they are playing all these “Guitar Hero” games that includes mostly old bands from the past, I’m sure kids today would know who all the classic rock bands are.
