Warner Bros. just won the rights to make “Ninja Scroll” a Japanese anime action thriller into a live action movie. Alex Tse is confirmed to pen the script.
Since the film is being produced by Leo Dicaprio’s film company Appian Way, Leo does NOT plan on starring in the film so don’t get your hopes up in seeing him in this.
There is no cast and no director signed to this film as of this moment.

Who should play Kagero? The leading character is a Japanese female who is the hero of “Ninja Scroll”.
My vote is Ziyi Zhang, the leading star of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. Ziyi will fit the Kagero role perfectly.

But now that Leonado DiCapario and Warner Bros working on the movie and Alex Tse is writing the script.
Will there any chance that Lawrence Kasanoff and Threshold to produce the movie with Warner Bros and Leo DiCapario because it can be done.
I think that Larry Kasanoff should get into talks on working another video game movie something like Darkstalkers based on Capcom video game.
