Neil Young played a great set at Isle of Wight, a music festival in the UK. He brought out mostly classics, staying away from his new music. He even played, “Hey Hey My My”, and ending the set with a Beatles cover, “A Day In the Life”. After the song got over with, Neil blasted his guitar amp with loud feedback by shaking the instrument, and breaking the guitar strings off of it. A 60 something year old man, still rocking hard with energy. Neil Young has been in the UK to prepare for his performance at the huge “Glastonbury” festival.

One of my goals in life is to run up the steps at the art musuem in Philadelphia, to make my own Rocky fantasies come true. I want to visit the Rocky statue and visit all the scene locations in Philly from the first Rocky. One day, I’ll take a vacation to Philly to make it happen. I’d like to do it, this year, if possible, maybe even this summer.
I’ve heard that Philadelphia is not liked by a lot of people, but since that city has so much Rocky history, any fan of Rocky would love that city. Philadelphia is not that far from here, it might just be a 4 or 5 hour drive from New York?

Yeah, I think if you drive on the right maps and just speed a tiny bit you can make it there in a couple hours. I always don’t drink anything the night before -not even water or Jack Daniels or nothing at all so I don’t have to stop to pee on the long road trips. I like making good time plus them rest areas are full of crime and lurking homosexuals who try to attack you in the bathroom.
I dont care about their lifestyle but attacking peple with crime when they just need to use the facilities & buy a Big Mac from the cute russian immigrants that work at all the Thruway places. Them russian chicks are hot.
If I ever go to Philly I’m going to visit Smoking Joe Frazier’s gym, too!
Anyway, you probably already saw that youtube video “Rocky Jumps A Park Bench” or whatever it’s called. The guy goes to ALL the places Rocky filmed all the movies and he shows how they look now. It’s really really cool.
I’m going to do that some day but it’s hard to get on a long trip like that. I don’t make any money for tolls and all that washing dishes at Brandywine Diner.
