Gov. Perry didn’t do anything wrong, what he did was very heroic actually!!!

Whether or not, Gov. Perry broke the law, what he did was very heroic. I don’t see what he did was bad. He was trying to force District Attorney, Rosemary Lehmberg to resign because she was a drunk and had a past with a DWI arrest. So I thought he did a great thing saying no to funding the PIU. People like that don’t deserve the money and don’t deserve to be working. A piece of trash like Lehmberg doesn’t deserve that kind of support. Watch her arrest video below.

Gov. Perry just didn’t want to support a drunken piece of trash like Lehmberg so Rick did a very good thing.

In my opinion, this won’t ruin his presidential chances in 2016 but it will only help him.

I really do think Gov. Perry was set up by the Obama admnistration.

Seriously, watch the video of this drunken cunt below and tell me whether or not she deserves that fund.

Gov. Perry is the freakin’ man! For this!

I don’t see how this is abusing his power at all but whatever. Liberals are crazy and delusional lunatics!

  1. You can’t force or coerce a publicly, elected official to resign their position; and you definitely can’t do it when threatening, then, removing state funds via a veto — You cannot combine the two. You also should not allegedly send your people with a offer to restore state funding in exchange for a different (higher paying?) position in the same office. There are procedures in place to remove officials from office, even then, they allowed her to keep her job. People get DWI’s and DUI’s all the time, and most are not asked to resign. You don’t have supervisors, managers, business owners, presidents or CEO’s of corporations forcing their workers to quit after DWI’s/DUI’s. Most companies — at least, will give you the option of going to rehab first. There’s nothing wrong with Governor Perry Vetoing state funding, even if, the funding had already been approved. What’s wrong: doing it in conjunction with coercing someone out of their duly elected position. Probably would have been wiser to veto the funding and not say anything else about it.

    1. Well, we’ll wait to see what the jury says when Perry goes to trial for this. We’ll wait to see what the court says on whether or not he had every right to do this. You can’t immediately assume that he did something illegal just because he’s in the news for it. He’s innocent until proven guilty, no matter what you say.

It’s true that people get DWI’s/DUI’s all the time but you are wrong on how they are allowed to keep their jobs. When people get busted for DWI’s or DUI’s many have either gotten fired or resigned. It makes the work place look bad when they are allowed to keep their jobs.

Honestly, I haven’t really heard anybody who is allowed to keep their job when they get busted for DWI/DUI. What you just said is just a bunch of bullshit, in my opinion. No offense.

When Mel Gibson got arrested for DWI, he had to stop working on film for a long while after that.

When somebody like a mayor or a district attorney gets arrested for DWI/DUI, it makes their town looks bad when they continue to work.

If you look into it, many other people in Travis County tried to get Rosemary Lehmberg to step-down. Gov. Perry wasn’t the only one. The whole town tried to get her to go. They’ve fought for it and Gov. Perry tried to help.
