For the past several months, I have been heavily studying music theory, also scales & modes. I’m getting really serious with this stuff. I want to become a better guitar player and become a little more professional. If you’re going to play music and write songs, I think theory is important. If you play in a band, and the other musicians tell you what key to play in or what chords to play and not know what the notes or scales are, then you’re screwed. I’ve been carefully doing some reading about theory through instructional books. Theory is not that hard to learn, it’s actually very easy, it just takes a long time to memorize. Knowing what notes are in chords and how they work with scales & modes, all that stuff. Just want to improve my playing. When you know music theory well enough, you’ll have a better ear and you’ll be able to play everything. That’s my goal in the music world. I keep myself busy with music and fitness both at the same time.

I won’t be doing much today. Will take some time jamming on some guitar, do some songwriting, have turkey dinner with the family this afternoon, watch some NFL Football (Saints vs. Cowboys game) and do whatever.

…my website is now officially, kbrocking.com. I finally decided to buy a domain name for my site. The site address all in one word for it to be easier for people to memorize. Plus, it’s a way to promote my site to the masses.

I also purchased space upgrade for this blog so I can do more cool things with it. I feel good about these new changes!

So I’m finally home from, Orlando, Florida, and here is a pic of me standing in front of the Universal Studios globe for a little proof that I went. The trip was a great time, I had a blast.

Sea World was the first place we went. Pretty much saw the whole park of Sea World and even got to see Whale Show. I’ll have video footage of all this stuff coming soon. I may even have a Sea World video footage up later tonight. Saw a lot of interesting animals that you would see under the sea. I even went on the new Manta roller coaster and that was a great ride.

As for Universal Studios, first thing I did when we went in was that I went on the Incredible Hulk roller coaster in the Marvel area of Island Adventure. I thought the Hulk coaster was better than the Manta @ Sea World. Surprisingly, I didn’t get sick and didn’t feel dizzy or anything going on these coasters. I never went on roller coasters in the past ’cause I admittedly used to be afraid of them. Now I’m no longer afraid of amusement park roller coasters. They don’t really make you sick depending on which one you go on. We went through the Wizardry World of Harry Potter park which was kind of interesting, I’ll have video footage of that too. Other rides, I went on, were the Jurassic Park ride and the Men In Black ride. Both were really cool as well. I also saw, “The Terminator 2: 3D” thing, which I will give that a full detailed review later tonight.

So that’s how I spent my Halloween, spent it down in Orlando, FL, which is interesting seeing how Orlando celebrate Halloween there. We didn’t go to Halloween Horror Nights because they raised the prices to $70.00  a person, so we said the hell with it and did other things. The price is a bit ridiculous and a bit of a bummer, we didn’t see Halloween Horror Nights this year. Other than that, we didn’t go to any other theme parks. Just cruised around Orlando and visited some people down there. The weather was very warm, of course. Felt like Summer.

I do like far distance traveling except the only parts I hate about it, is going through the security check points and I hate Terminals. Doing all that ridiculous long walking in Terminals is a bit annoying, in my opinion. Now I’m safely back home, have returned to the cold weather back home in New York.

I’ll start working on those videos tonight and hopefully get one up today as well. Florida is cool. I’d definitely go again!

If you readers have been wondering why I haven’t been posting it’s because I’m on vacation. I’m in Orlando, Florida as I type this and will return home tomorrow. I will have plenty of video footage and photos. Went to Sea World and Universal Studios. Didn’t go to Halloween Horror Nights because it ws too expensive, more on that later.

I will write more about my trip when I get back home. Just wanted to drop a quick line in my site to say hi.

This thing about gay bullying just keeps going in the news and on the internet with people starting these stupid campaigns to help fight it. There are other types of bullying. Not just bullies making fun of homosexuals. What other types of bullying? I’ve said in a post before, bullies target those that are small, ugly, fat, shy, etc. People accusing others of being gay when they are really straight, that is bullying too. You can also add, making fun of people’s disabilities to be considered as bullying as well. Calling people, “retarded” is another one. All that stuff, bullying.

I don’t make fun of or bully people. I’ve never really been that type of guy. I’ve always treated people with respect, no matter what kind of person they are. It is pretty much high school stuff. I don’t know why people still do it.

People starting these campaigns on the internet, fighting bullying, is not going to stop bullies for picking on people. I will repeat myself, that the only way to end bullying is to stick up for yourself. It is why I have to report and have to delete everything online with other people that attacks me. That’s called, being a tough guy in return and fighting back. People think they can get away with saying what they want about you, when you can’t let them do that. If you’re a victim of bullying of any kind, whether it’s online or in the real world, you’ve got to stick up for yourself and be a tough guy. All these campaigns online are silly, in my opinion. I don’t hit, “like” on any of them in facebook.

I don’t let anybody get to me, no matter how tough they think they are. If people want to be a tough guy, then I’m going to be one too, that’s all there is to it. That is how you end bullying for good.

How am I going to spend my Halloween next weekend? Am I going to sit around and watch horror films at home like I do every year? No. For once, I’m going to do something completely different this year. Next week, I’m going to Orlando, Florida for a while. For a little vacation and get away from everything. I’ve never been to Florida in my life and always wanted to go check it out. I’ve been to California once, but never Florida.

What am I going to do in Orlando? Will I go to Disney World or the Epcot Center? Maybe, but it’s pretty unlikely. I’m going to check out other theme parks that are there. Definitely going to Universal Studios, definitely going to check out Sea World in Orlando, and definitely going to “Halloween Horror Nights”. Also, I will spend the day in downtown Orlando city to do some fun shopping and stuff there. The new Star Wars game, “The Force Unleashed II” comes out next week on Tuesday, so I’ll pick up the game in Florida if I can find a video game store around there and I’m sure I will run into a video game store in Florida ’cause I’m sure there are plenty of them.

I just want to get away from New York for a while. Have some time for myself and enjoy myself. I’m looking forward to Universal Studios ’cause I can’t wait to go on all the movie themed rides such as the Jaws ride, Jurassic Park ride, and all that other stuff. Will probably check out the Harry Potter theme park even if I’m not a Harry Potter fan, I’ll check it out anyway.

Halloween Horror Nights is a Haunted House kind of thing Universal has every year on Halloween. It’s been going on for 20 years. I’m more looking forward to this ’cause I’m such a huge fan of horror films and scary things. Check out their website, here.

Sea World Orlando, I do like animals which is why I went to the famous San Diego Zoo a couple of years back. Now I want to check out Sea World which will be interesting.

Yes, I plan on bringing my video cam to document my Orlando adventure for youtube, but the only thing, I won’t bring my video cam inside the theme parks ’cause they won’t allow it. I’m sure I’m gonna have a blast. Can’t wait!
