Report: Brett Ratner denies “Beverly Hills Cop 4” will be PG-13, he says it will be R rated and promises it will stay true to the first two films…

Brett Ratner, who is helming, “Beverly Hills Cop 4”, laughs off all the internet rumours on how the next film will be PG-13 family friendly and how fans say he’s going to ruin the next one. Ratner tells the internet to calm down, that he doesn’t plan to ruin the Beverly Hills Cop series. He plans to stay true to the first two films and make it a hard R rating. Make the film full of swearing and cussing like first two were, and lots of intense violence.

He denies Axel joining forces with an overweight cop but still in this article, Ratner didn’t say anything about Judge Reinhold reprising his role as Rosewood in the fourth film. He also explains that the next Beverly Hills Cop film is not another sequel to the series, it’s a re-invention. Sort of like another reboot.

Ratner better have Judge Reinhold in the next one, if he’s not in it, then I’m not seeing it. I’m sure all Beverly Hills Cop fans would want their Rosewood in the film, there can’t be a Beverly Hills movie without him. I’m sure Reinhold will want to do the movie.

Report: Well, look like I won’t be seeing “Beverly Hills Cop 4” because typical Brett Ratner wants it kids oriented…

When Brett Ratner announced he is directing “Beverly Hills Cop 4”, it got me worried that he is going to make the film similar to the “Rush Hour” series. It turns out he is doing just that. Ratner explains he wants “Beverly Hills Cop 4” to be more kids oriented with no profanity and violence with no blood. Think it would be rated PG-13? NOPE! Ratner plans to rate it even lower to PG! BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

And STUPID, STUPID, STUPID MTV !!!! NONE OF THE RAMBO FILMS WERE FOR KIDS! All 4 Rambo films were rated R, full of hardcore violence and swearing! No way Rambo is for kids! Why did MTV list Rambo!

Look like Die Hard 4 is inspiring iconic action sequels to be PG-13 so expect other action movies to follow suit.

I want to see Axel Foley swearing and cussing up a storm throughout the entire film like he did in the first three. That’s the way they are supposed to be.

“Beverly Hills Cop 4” will feel like the Police Academy films.

Like I’ll be waiting for DVD rental for “BHC 4”.

Report: Eddie Murphy returns as Axel Foley for “Beverly Hills Cop 4″…

After “Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull” being  a huge box office smash, Paramount Pictures had just greenlighed “Beverly Hills Cop” series to get a 4th installment, and Eddie Murphy himself has agreed to reprise his role as Axel Foley. Paramount aims for a production start in 2009 and plans to release it in 2010.

Murphy himself approached Paramount about wanting to bring Axel Foley back to the big screen after he finished filming his newest movie “Nowhereland” which will release next summer in 2009.

Brett Ratner is in negotiations to direct “Beverly Hills Cop 4”.

As long as they still get Judge Reinhold as Rosewood and still keep it an R rated movie, I’ll go see it. Reinhold hasn’t done any acting and vanished from movies since “The Santa Clause 3”, so it would be good to see him back in the movies again.
