The talented, Peter Dinklage, wins an Emmy for role as, Tyrion Lannister, in HBO’s, “Game of Thrones”. Peter says he is surprised about the win and admits he wasn’t ready for it. He also admits the other nominees for that category should be up there instead.
Read what he have to say, here.
Congrats to Peter, and well deserved to one of the most talented short actors, I’ve ever seen. See Peter’s acceptance speech in the video below.
Legendary stand up comic, Denis Leary, criticized and bashed the hosts of this years “Emmy” award show. Ryan Seacrest, Heidi Klum, Tom Bergeron, Howie Mandel and Jeff Probst who all hosted the show were blasted by Leary saying that the 5 hosts were telling jokes in bad timing and Leary thought the jokes weren’t funny enough. Leary says he was half excited to be there and half bored at the same time. He also says, he should have been the one hosting the entire show himself.
More on it here:
Leary is a comic veteran. He has tons of comic experience. So he speaks the truth and speaks from the heart. I didn’t see the “Emmy’s” this year and don’t care to see it.
I agree with Leary that he is the one that should have hosted it, if he did, I would have watched the “Emmy’s” just for him, because Denis Leary is the fucking man! HE RULES!
TV star Ellen Degeneres won an Emmy Award for “Best TV Talk Show Host” at this year’s Emmy, this is her fourth award. Albany’s own Rachael Ray wins Best TV Enetertainment category, look like her kefiyeh scarf didn’t stop her from winning!
The popular soap opera “General Hospital”, won the most at the Emmy’s, they picked up a total of 10. “Days of Our Lives”, “Young and the Restless” and “Guiding Light” was nominated several awards but “General Hospital” swept ’em all up.
It’s no surprise that “General Hospital” got the most. That show’s been getting a lot of buzz lately so it must be a pretty popular show right now.
I also kind of already predicted Ellen was going to win too.
