Report: Grand Theft Auto controversy doesn’t seem to want to end, video game comes out of the closet?

Rockstar games, announce the release of another Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable and payable chapter for Xbox 360 only. The chapter is titled, “The Ballad Of Gay Tony”. It’s about a nightclub owner named Tony Prince with a nickname of “Gay Tony” in the game, but it is not yet known if the character is homosexual.

More on it here:

Does this mean that Grand Theft Auto V will experiment with homosexuality in crime for the next installment of the game? It wouldn’t surprise me if it will, since homosexuality has been so huge in the mainstream these days. The GTA series are always trying something different in every game.

“Grand Theft Auto IV” was a pretty good game, only thing I don’t like about it, was that it was too easy to beat. There were only like one or two difficult missions to get by, that was it.

If Rockstar does a 5th GTA game, they should bring the Niko Bellic character back ’cause he is such a badass video game character and one of the bests created.

Playing Grand Theft Auto IV online multiplayer is much more fun than the storyline game!

Well I finally did it! I successfully registered for Playstation Network tonight, it took me a while to figure out how to actually go online and play Deathmatch with other people in Grand Theft Auto IV. Yes, I did play at least 45 minutes of online gaming in GTA 4, and yes, it’s ten times much more fun than playing the regular storyline game!

So any videogame I get that has multiplayer online gaming, I’ll be playing to play online with other people. You can also play online in games like “F.E.A.R.” and “Metal Gear Solid 4”.

It’s much more fun playing videogames online with other people because you’re actually playing against a real live human being, you don’t know the person you’re playing with behind the other TV screen, it can be a he/she anywhere in the world.

In GTA 4 playing the “Death Match” online is such a blast! I was doing pretty good too. Other people were better than me of course, that’s because playing online is so much different than playing the regular storyline game.

I’m done playing around with my PS3 now because I’ve spent most of the afternoon trying to set up all that online gaming stuff. I’m glad I’m finally able to play online! wOOt!

Just beat Grand Theft Auto IV today!!!!

This morning I beat the game Grand Theft Auto IV. I never realized I was on the last mission, when I beat the mission the credits started rolling so I must of beaten the game. I won’t tell anything about it ’cause the ending does have a surprise ending.

I did pretty good in the game. Looking at my stats I was only busted 5 times and died 47 times.

While the game is amazing and a lot of fun to play, I wish it was a lot more difficult and challenging. The game is pretty easy as a matter of fact. You just got to know what you’re doing and paying attention. There were a few difficult missions that I had trouble getting by but with practice you’ll get through it.

The only thing I’m dissapointed in the game is, that there is not a lot of helicopter flying. There are only two helicopter flying missions in the game, that is it.

But other than that, the game was a blast. It was a great ride, I loved the storyline to the game and the acting of the voiceovers was fantastic as well. It felt like you were in a movie or a drama TV show or something.

I can’t wait for Grand Theft Auto V now, hopefully they make the next one even better. In the next Grand Theft Auto game, they should bring the Niko Belic character back since that character is so succesful and the most well known video game characters ever created. They should keep the Niko Belic story going in the next Grand Theft Auto installment.

It feels great to finally beat the game. I won’t move on to a different game yet, tonight, I want to try playing GTA IV online against other people, there’s a death match in GTA IV where you can play online. I’ll be looking into it.

Kev

EDIT TO ADD: I forgot to mention that I only beat the “deal” part of the game. I’m gonna try beating the “revenge” part of it.

Thought: Grand Theft Auto IV is only 60% of storyline missions??

I just found out that Grand Theft Auto IV only has 60% of the main storyline missions, that’s the entire game right there. Right now, I’m 52% into the game. So that basically means I’m “almost” done with the game. I have at least 20 missions left and then I’m done.

I just completed a mission called “Catch the Wave” today and it wasn’t that hard of a mission, only took me several tries to beat it.

I should definitely have the game beat sometime this month.

Report: Grand Theft Auto IV on the cover of Metroland…

The Metroland wrote a great review on Grand Theft Auto IV videogame written by writer David King.

Check it out here:

http://www.metroland.net/features.html

It is definitely the best videogame ever made. Niko Bellic is definitely one of the best videogame characters ever created.

Niko Bellic is definitely better than the Super Mario Bros. Sonic the Hedgehog and the Legend of Zelda.

GTA IV is definitely hard to stop playing indeed. I’m 49% of the storyline missions right now.

Report: Michael Hollick the voice of Niko Bellic for “Grand Theft Auto IV” wants to get paid more…

Michael Hollick (pictured above) who is the leading star of “Grand Theft Auto IV” and has done the voiceovers for the leading character Niko Bellic is demanding more money from all the long and hard work he’s done for the videogame. Hollick reveals the shocking news that he was only paid, $100,000 for 15 months, yet, he has to suffer and witness the game make much more than that.

More on the story here:

http://videogames.yahoo.com/feature/gta-iv-star-only-made-100-000/1215423

Maybe they will pay him more now that he spoke out on this. I’m with Hollick on this, doing voice overs for a videogame sounds like long and tough work, and he only gets paid very little. BULLSHIT!

If they don’t pay him more at all, hope Hollick got some good lawyers in handy.

Thought: The media slamming the violence in GTA IV…

You know what I’m getting sick of? I’m getting sick and tired of the media knocking Grand Theft Auto IV for it’s controversial violence. How come the media attack GTA IV for violence when there are hundreds and hudreds of other video games that have full of violence in them? There are plenty of videogames out there that are ten times worse than the GTA series.

The first person shooting games such as Quake, Duke Nuken,  Unreal Tournament, and all that. The violence in those games are worse than the GTA. Violence in videogames have been going on for years, even way back in the old days when the Atari used to be around, there were violence in Atari games too.

I’m sick of Grand Theft Auto being knocked by the media. It’s just proof that people who are not videogamers know nothing about videogames. They just knock Grand Theft Auto just to get more ratings and more viewers for their news shows, end of story. Violence in games is nothing new.

Speaking of GTA IV, I finally completed that mission “Three Leaf Clover”. It’s definitely one of the most fun missions of the game so far. Killing cops and robbing banks! Hell yeah! Even though people can’t do that stuff in real life you can pretend to in the game which is the whole point, being a make believe criminal. I still got ways to go in the game though.

I’ll be seeing “Indy and the Crystal Skull” tonight hopefully. I’ll review it after I see the film.

Thought: Actually, I got a lot more to go in GTA IV…

I don’t think “Three Leaf Clover” is the final mission for the GTA IV game, I think there’s a lot more missions than that. So actually I’m halfway through the game, I’m just 36% into it. When you know you beat the game, you have to complete the full 100% of the game. Just wanted to clear that out.

“Three Leaf Clover” is a mission ending the 2nd half of the game. It’s a mission where Niko robs a bank in Liberty City where you have to kill all these cops to escape, lol.

Yeah, this game is crazy and violent. I still got ways to go in the game, just found that out and wanted to clear it.

Kev

Just about done with Grand Theft Auto IV…

I only have two missions left in Grand Theft Auto IV. After I beat those two missions, I’m done with the game. The final mission is titled “Three Leaf Clover” but I have one more mission to complete before I go to the final one.

While this is an amazing game, the only thing I’m dissapointed about it is, there is not a lot of helicopter flying in this one. Hopefully there’ll be more helicopter flying in Grand Theft Auto V whenever they start making the next one.

After I beat the storyline game in GTA IV, I won’t move on to a different game just yet. I want to try the “online” multiplayer death match so I can play against other people online.

“GTA IV” is actually a pretty simple game, there are only very few missions that are very challenging but other than that, the game is pretty easy. I should have GTA IV beat today.

Report: “Grand Theft Auto IV” music soundtrack being released…

The music from the game Grand Theft Auto IV from the vehicle radiostations will be released on a soundtrack CD album. No release dates has been announced yet but the songs on the soundtrack will be available for pay download on May 20th which is today as a matter of fact, I would assume they would be available for Itunes.

NME.com reports:

I might get the soundtrack, I actually enjoy the music in the game.
