Report: LL Cool J brings his hit, “Mama Said Knock You Out” to real life by catching a would be burglar at his home…

What I mean by the title of this topic, LL wrote the song “Mama Said Knock You Out”, which is about him being a fighter, and acting like a tough guy. Well he brought that tough guy attitude to real life when he actually stopped a would be burglar, who was about ready to rob his home. The suspect was caught by LL himself who happened to be home at the time.

If you look at the lyrics to the song, “Mama Said Knock You Out”, it shows that the song could be how he is in real life, he’s a tough guy and a fighter, who don’t take shit from anyone. Don’t mess with LL Cool J, or he could knock you out.

Thought: LL Cool J in the Hall of Fame, wtf? How did he get a nomination? Well here’s your answer…

The internet is of course, pissed off, ’cause the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame gave another rap artist a nomination when it is not rock. Yes, it’s true, rap isn’t really rock…but how do these rap artists like Run DMC and LL Cool J are making the Hall of Fame?

So how does LL Cool J get a nomination?

Well according to his wikipedia history, LL Cool was a disc jockey when he first started out in his career.

Reading the induction process on how they nominate artists, they also nominate “disc jockeys”.

So any rap artist that is a disc jockey and if they have a first hit single for 25 years, they are eligible for a nomination.

I guess that’s how Run-DMC made it in ’cause they were disc jockeys too.

So before you start slamming the Hall of Fame because of the rap music being inducted, I’d suggest you do your research. This just shows that people are uneducated with music since they are angry at the Hall of Fame for having a variety of genres. Remember, all genres is the roots of rock n’ roll.

Report: Kiss, LL Cool J, Chilli Peppers, Genesis, etc. nominated for the Rock Hall of Fame…

New nominations for this year’s “Rock Hall of Fame” in Cleveland, Ohio has been announced this year. This year nominations includes the legends Kiss, LL Cool J, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Genesis, The Hollies, and Laura Nyro.

Me thinks, Kiss will get in no matter what. So will the Chilli Peppers and LL Cool J. Genesis will definitely get in.

I don’t know about Laura Nyro though, I don’t even know who that is.

If Genesis finally does get inducted, I wonder if Peter Gabriel will be part of that induction since he was the first frontman of that band before Phil Collins? I’m sure they’ll let Peter be part of this. I don’t see why not?

So you ask, LL Cool J is not rock, he is strictly rap and hip hop, how does he get nominated? I’m willing to bet the song “Mama Said Knock You Out”, is what got him the nomination, that tune is kind of like a rock song.
