Star Wars: The Force Unleashed…brief review…

So I finished playing, “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed” for the Ps3. I know, I’m waaaaay late on this game, I should have bought it a long time ago, but I wanted to play this before, “The Force Unleashed II” comes out to catch up.

First of all, I’m not much of a Star Wars fan. I like Star Wars, I’ve always been into Star Trek more. When I played this game, “The Force Unleashed”, I was surprised on how great it was. The storyline was great, the game play was a blast, and the graphics were good. I had fun playing it. I wouldn’t call this the best Star Wars game yet, ’cause I’m sure there will be plenty more Star Wars games up ahead of us. This one was really awesome though. This game made me appreciate Star Wars a little more.

The reason I’m not much of a Star Wars fan ’cause the plot and the writing all seemed too simple to me. Much of it was kind of silly and whacky. I’m like, how does Lucas come up with whacky shit? The writing with Star Trek is more insightful and intelligent. I always felt that Star Wars was more action and entertainment, then storytelling.

“The Force Unleashed” game felt totally different than the movies. It’s hard to explain. I’m looking forward to the “Force Unleashed II” game, which I think comes out sometime next year?

I’m now playing the game, “Mafia II”, that game is really good too so far, I’ll talk about that game when I get done playing it.

Report: Indiana Jones “Bermuda Triangle” storyline is not true, says Frank Marshall…

Earlier this week, rumours hit hard on the next “Indiana Jones” plot that it was going to be about the Bermuda Triangle. Turns out it’s just a bullshit rumour. Frank Marshall the producer, took to his twitter page to squash the rumours.

More on it here:

Thank god it’s not true. I didn’t like the Bermuda Triangle plot anyways.

I would prefer the next Indy movie to focus on something serious. I’d still stand by it that if George and Steve wants the next Indy movie to be successful, they need to make the next one more like “Raiders”. If they make it a popcorn flick again, they will get another backlash by haters. Make the next Indy movie like “Raiders” where fans can be happy.
