Song Of The Day: “Walk Like A Giant” by Neil Young & Crazy Horse

Neil Young has always been a hero of mine musically. Whether he does acoustic or full band electric, I love everything the man does. So far, I have 15 of his albums in my collection and counting! Yeah, I’m that big of a fan and trying to collect all of his discography of albums as best as I can. Neil is a rock genius. “Psychedelic Pill” is the best album he did with Crazy Horse, in my opinion.

This track maybe long but it’s my favorite off the album. It’s just an amazing rock tune. Neil’s lead guitar playing just melts your face, big time. I love all the overdrive effects in this song. Just a badass rock tune.

Why are kids these days listening to garbage like Rihanna, Kanye or One Direction when everybody should be listening to Neil Young instead?

Cool Video: Neil Young covers the folk song, “Oh Susannah”, rock n’ roll version…

On a lighter note, here’s a cool song by Neil Young covering the famous traditional folk song, “Oh Susannah”. How come today’s music doesn’t sound like this? At least Neil, knows what real music is supposed to sound like. Neil & Crazy Horse still have it too, and they are better than ever. I’m looking forward to his next album, “Americana”, ’cause it’ll be awesome to hear rock n’ roll versions of famous folk songs.

I’m such a huge Neil Young fan. He’s such an inspiration and hero to me.

Report: Neil Young makes return of Crazy Horse official, “Americana ” to be released, June 5th…

Rollingstone.com, made the exclusive news that Neil Young made the return of his band, Crazy Horse, with a new album, coming out titled, “Americana”. These aren’t original songs, it’s going to be an album full of covers. They are all going to be famous Americana folk songs written over the years. Are they going to be full band electric rock versions? That’s what it’s sounding like. Neil also said there is a choir of young children singing songs with them in the studio. So this is going to be an interesting album.

I’ll be buying it for sure. I love Neil. He’s a hero of mine. 2012 is starting to shape up as a better year for music. Springsteen, Neil Young, Sabbath, Van Halen, etc. Rock n’  roll is trying to make a come back this year.
