RANT: Wrestlemania no longer needs the Hulkster, don’t get him!!!

Did you know that behind the scenes of the WWE that Vince McMahon tries to get Hulk Hogan to perform a match at Wrestlemania every year? Yep, I believe it’s true. They are trying to get Hogan to fight John  Cena at Wrestlemania 25 this year.

Honestly, I kind of lost my respect to the Hulkster since the Nick Hogan crash controversy, and the Linda/Hulk divorce battle. I don’t care to see Hulk Hogan in WWE anymore. Now he’s out doing some stupid reality show with Eric Bischoff, that I’ve been reading about, a celebrity wrestling kind of thing or something.

Stone Cold being at Wrestlemania 25 is fine with me, ’cause I actually am a longtime Stone Cold fan and still am. The Hulkster’s an asshole, and a douchebag. He lives in his own world that he thinks he invented profesional wrestling when that isn’t true at all.

Wrestlemania 25 will do fine without Hulk Hogan. I’m fine with the other legends from the past being a part of the show but anybody except Hulkamania. Hulk ruined his own life. Screwed his own family, screwed his own career. He went from big profesional legend to a sore loser.

I don’t ever want to see Hogan in WWE ever again, so I hope and pray that he says no to being at Wrestlemania again this year.

  1. Well, didn’t Hogan say that he was trying to gather the resources to fund his own wrestling promotion to go directly after Vince? If that’s true, Vince would have probably heard Hogan talking shit. All the more reason to not bring him down to Texas.

And despite everything Hogan did for the company, that was many years ago. Vince doesn’t need Hulkamania anymore. Sure, the fans would eat it up, the WWE would gain more at the gate and maybe better buy rates, but sometimes you don’t need to take the quick and easy route. Besides, they’re putting Austin into the HOF. That alone should make up for keeping Hogan away.

While I do respect Hulk for what he has accomplished in the past, that’s what it s. Stuff he did in the past. Pro wrestling has moved on and is doing just fine without him, his creative discretion (or whatever it’s called) clauses in his contract and his siphoning away at the promotion’s resources. Just think, if Hogan doesn’t come back and get his paycheck, the WWE can afford to keep more of its wrestlers around.

    But anything can happen…
