About the “Lincoln” ending… (With NO spoilers)

In facebook or on this blog, when I responded to how the film “Lincoln” ended when a few people asked me about it, I didn’t give a lot of details on the ending. All I said was the film did show the Ford theater scenes and it dragged on, after that. While everyone should know how Lincoln died, does the film actually show John Wilkes Booth shooting Lincoln on the balcony while watching a theater play? Like I said, I’m not getting into details at this time. Just so you know, I didn’t give out any spoilers at all with my “Lincoln”, reviews. I didn’t give away too much. People kept asking me how the movie ended, and I say to myself, “Are you serious?” Why know about the ending now? Go see the film yourself. I can see why people are curious about the ending to “Lincoln”, ’cause of his assassination. I’ll have to say that Spielberg ended this movie in a different way, than most Lincoln biopics out there (yes, there are other “Lincoln” biopics).

I would love to talk about the ending, but I’m not gonna. It’s too early and I don’t want to anger a lot of people. Maybe when the BluRay/DVD comes out, I’ll talk about it then. I need to give people more time to see it first. It’s interesting why people are already asking me about the ending. I didn’t give it all away, just a tiny little bit.

Seriously, you should go see this flick before this stops playing. I’m sure this film will be in theaters for a long while.

Cool Video: We finally get our first teaser of Spielberg’s “Lincoln”…

After Lincoln has been getting silly vampire and zombie films as of late, we finally get a proper Lincoln movie. Enjoy this teaser of Spielberg’s next movie, “Lincoln”. It’s already looking amazing and I’m stoked for the movie, can’t wait. I will definitely see this one. The full trailer will debut Sept. 13th. It’s already looking like a Best Picture worthy film for the Oscars.

Cool Photo: First look at Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln!!!!

After completing, “War Horse”, and “Tin Tin”, Steven Spielberg is already at work on his, “Lincoln”, biopic. Here’s your first look at Daniel Day-Lewis as President Abe Lincoln. This photo was taken at a restaurant in Richmond, Virginia where the movie is being filmed. Abe in jeans? How badass is that? Look like Daniel is on a lunch break from filming or something.

Now, I can’t wait for the movie after seeing this pic! Super cool!

BREAKING NEWS: Sally Field set to star as Mary Todd for Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln” movie!!!

Just announced today, Dreamworks revealed the big news that two time Academy Award winner, Sally Field is set to play the wife of Abraham Lincoln, Mary Todd for Steven Spielberg’s, “Lincoln”, biopic. Steven and Sally never worked together before.

Deadline, reports.

I’m very excited for this “Lincoln” movie now. Both Daniel Day Lewis and Sally Field are very talented. I’m sure this film will land Steven Spielberg back in the Oscars again. It smells Oscar all over it. Surprisingly enough, Steven hasn’t had a Best Picture nomination since “Munich” which never won. He won for Best Picture/Director for “Saving Private Ryan” in 1999. It’s been a long time since you’ve been in the Oscars, haven’t you, Steve?

BREAKING NEWS: Daniel Day Lewis is Honest Abe!!!

Well here comes another Oscar for Daniel Day Lewis and Steven Spielberg! Spielberg just casted Daniel to play Abraham Lincoln. Daniel is a two time Oscar winner, will this be his third?

See more on the story, here.

Daniel Day Lewis is an amazing actor and can play just about anything that throws at him. I loved him in “Last of the Mohicans”, “Gangs of New York” and “There Will Be Blood”. Daniel as Abe will be amazing! I’m sure Daniel will pull off some amazing acting like he always does!

Right after Steven Spielberg gets done promoting “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, he will get right to work on the next film about our 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. Spielberg will make this film through Dreamworks and could possibly begin filming early next year. Spielberg had actor Liam Neeson confirmed to play Lincoln which is a perfect choice for the role.

Look like Spielberg is aiming for the Oscars on this one. And sounds like this one may be a long film between 3-4 hours. Spielberg had always been known to make long films so don’t get your hopes up if this will be a short one.
