Cool Video: “Hitchcock” trailer is here, and surprisingly looks very good too!

I was skeptical of this, but after seeing this trailer, the film looks promising. Anthony Hopkins looks great as Hitchcock, that guy can play anything that throws at him. I’ll be there for this one, I think. The film is about the making of “Psycho”, it’s not really a straight up biopic.

The Brock’s Horror Film Pick #8: Psycho (the 1960 original)

Time to throw in another classic here. The original “Psycho”, directed by the late and great, Alfred Hitchcock. Starring Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh. It’s another one of my favorites. Not only the classic shower scene made it great, the whole film is great. Everything about the film is perfect.

Btw, these films list are in no particular order, I’m just going by the days up until Halloween. So I’m just picking my favorite films at random.

Report: Scarlett Johansson to play Janet Leigh in “Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho”…

This is not exactly a “Psycho” remake. What this is, it’s a biopic film of Alfred Hitchcock making the movie, “Psycho”. Scarlett Johansson has been signed to play Janet Leigh, where she’ll be doing her version of the legendary shower scene in the film. James D’ Arcy will play, Anthony Perkins, the actor who played, Norman Bates.

More on the story, here.

I wonder who they’re gonna get for Alfred Hitchcock? Phillip Seymour Hoffman, maybe?

Honestly, I’m kind of skeptical of this project. I love the Psycho movies. “Psycho” was already remade in “1998”, that starred Vince Vaughn and Anne Heche. We don’t need another remake. This new film claims it’s a “biopic”, but it still feels like a remake to me.

Maybe the trailer will prove us wrong so we’ll have to wait and see.

Report: Spielberg, Dreamworks, and Paramount sued for ripping off Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window”…

Director Steven Spielberg is being sued for copyright infrigement by the Sheldon Abend Revocable Trust which is the basis for Alfred Hitchcock’s 1954 film “Rear Window” that stars James Stewart and Grace Kelly. Dream Works and Paramount studios both has also been named in the lawsuit. The Sheldon Abend Revocable Trust is suing them because they’re accusing them of making the movie “Disturbia” a thriller that stars Shia Labeouf, “Disburbia” has a similar plot and story to “Rear Window”, the company claims the film makers stole the plot ideas from Hitchcock’s original film.

Alfred Hitchcock and James Stewart won the rights to get the film made in 1953, the Sheldon Abend Revocable Trust says that Dream Works should have done the same.

Steven Spielberg did NOT direct, write or produce “Disturbia”, however, Spielberg did create story ideas to the film makers, that’s why he is named in the lawsuit although he didn’t make the film, he just came up with the story.

Hollywood have been lawsuit happy lately. Get a freakin’ job people, there is more to life than money and these hollywood phonies already have enough of it.

Why sue Spielberg when he didn’t even make the film? BULLSHIT! The judge will probably dismiss this on Spielberg so he can be free of this.
