Black Sabbath to confirm reunion this Friday for new album and tour???

On Black Sabbath’s facebook page, they teased something that they have a huge announcement for, “11/11/11”, which is this coming, Friday. Yep, you guess it, everyone thinks they are going to confirm the Black Sabbath reunion of the original lineup with: Tony Iommi, Ozzy, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.

Of course, I’m sure this reunion is being criticized by fans. Many are calling this reunion egotistical or they are just doing it for the money, but I disagree. Maybe they are coming back for a special reason, ’cause after all, Ronnie James Dio, just died, who was a former Black Sabbath member. Maybe they are coming back as in tribute to RJD? That could be a reason, to be fair for them.

I’m pretty sure they will confirm the reunion Friday too. I certainly would love to see them live ’cause Sabbath with Ozzy is one of my favorite bands of all times. When they do a full fledged tour, I’m sure they won’t come around Albany area. The closest you’ll probably get to see them is NYC, ’cause I’m sure they will want to play Madison Square Garden for a few nights.

Love ’em or hate ’em, you need to respect ’em. Sabbath invented the “Heavy metal” genre. Since RJD’s passing, the guys in Sabbath needs to do something, right? What else are they gonna do? They just want to keep playing.

I prefer Black Sabbath over Ozzy’s solo music anyway.

This Day In Music: 11/7/11

All year long in my facebook page, I’ve been posting “This Day In Music” status’s along with videos. Starting today, I have decided to move the “This Day In Music” for my blog. I’ve been doing this so people can know their rock n’ roll history. I love to learn about Rock n’ roll music, the history of it. It’s one of my favorite things to do. I read much about music and learn about it as much as possible. That’s what you must do if you want to be a musician. If you want to be a music lover or a musician, you must know your music history.

When I talk about music to other people and talk about the history of it, a lot of people don’t know this stuff which is crazy. That’s why it inspired me to do the, “This Day In Music”. These music facts were borrowed from other music sites, but I just post the most interesting ones.

Here is today’s, “This Day In Music”, enjoy:

Musician Birthdays: Joni Mitchell, Mary Travers (Peter, Paul and Mary), and guitarist Tommy Thayer.

– In 1951: Frank Sinatra married his second wife actress Ava Gardner, the couple split up in 1953 and divorced in 1957. Sinatra was married three other times, to his first wife Nancy Barbato, to the actress Mia Farrow and finally to Barbara Marx, to whom he was married at his death.

The group hooked up with screenwriter Alun Owen, who had been appointed to write the screenplay for The Beatles’ first (as yet untitled) motion picture. Owen spent three days with The Beatles observing their hectic, lifestyle.

– In 1970: Led Zeppelin released their third album, which features a distinctive pinwheel revolving cover. It entered the UK chart at No. 1 and spends a total of 40 weeks in the Top 75.

Shopping in Cali…

During my Cali vacation over the week, I did quite a bit of shopping. That’s one of the things of what vacations are all about, spending all kinds of money. You can only live once, right? So have all the fun while you can!

Here’s some of the things I picked up…I picked up a few movies on DVD: “Captain America: The First Avenger”, “Green Lantern”, and “Hanna”. Picked up a few music CD’s, Lou Reed & Metallica “Lulu”, William Shatner, “Seeking Major Tom”, and the new Janes Addiction album. I also picked up Ace Frehley’s new book, “No Regrets”. I also bought the new Batman video game, “Arkham City” as well. Of course, I picked up t-shirts and a few other stuff from various gift shops.

I had a blast over the week. I definitely want to go back to Hollywood again sometime in the future. After seeing Hollywood for the first time ever, I’ll have to admit that I have a little bit of an obsession with fame & fortune. I’ll admit that I kind of want that lifestyle myself even though I’ll never get it.

While Hollywood is pretty fun, it can also get kind of crazy. You’re going to see all kinds of crazy people on the Blvd. You know how it is on that street. People wearing different costumes from movies and TV shows. Women wearing sexually revealing clothing in public. Musicians trying to sell CD’s to you. All that stuff.

I’ll have video footage for you all soon. They will be separated in various parts ’cause I filmed plenty of footage. The San Diego videos will be coming first, then L.A. I’ll upload the first video a little later.

Back from California…

If you all wondered why this blog have been slow all week, is because I was on vacation. Was on a full week vacation from last Sunday to today. Now I’m finally back home. Where did I go? Well, I went to California. Went to San Diego to visit my brother and Los Angeles to visit my sister. Yes, I have family that live in those two big cities. So I went out there to visit them and do some fun stuff, of course, like a lot of adventuring, sight seeing, and shopping.

We saw most of the popular tourist attractions and landmarks in both cities. I did take photos and there’s video footage coming too, ’cause I documented my adventure for a videoblog. The photos and videos will be coming to this blog site tomorrow, ’cause I don’t feel like doing it tonight obviously, since I got home kind of late. Tired and beat tonight.

It was a fun vacation. I had a blast. I will write a lot more about it tomorrow as well. This will be a short blog entry, ’cause I don’t feel like doing a lot of blogging tonight either. I will do all the blogging tomorrow ’cause there are news that I need to catch up on I missed over the week.

Along with my vacation, I also took a full week off of fitness & healthy nutrition. Gotta have those once in a while. It’s hard to eat healthy on vacation, ’cause sometimes you get forced to eat junk food no matter where you go.

Yes, I did visit Hollywood Blvd. there will be video footage of that too. More on my California adventure tomorrow.

Natural bodybuilding vs. unnatural bodybuilding…

When I post my progress pics online, they usually get mix reactions. There are some that love it, they think I look fantastic and I do get positive feedback by some. I also get negative feedback on my shirtless progress photos. Some say I look like a creep and they claim I’m not muscular at all. I enjoy getting mixed reactions, ’cause honestly, that’s what natural bodybuilding is all about. What is natural bodybuilding? Get the hint with the word, “natural”. It means you have a fit and muscular physique, but you’re not going to look perfect. Natural is having a normal look. That’s why natural bodybuilder’s get slammed for their physiques ’cause they don’t look like those “unnatural” ‘roided up bodybuilders you see in the magazines and underwear ads.

I consider negative feedback a compliment.

On top of that, I’m not looking to be a perfect and unnatural bodybuilder. I just want to look healthy, feel healthy and look great for myself. I don’t plan to like those pros you see in Mr. Olympia. I don’t care to look like other guys in the gym. I’m doing this my own way and my own style.

When you get into fitness & bodybuilding, you have to deal with the critics. You’re gonna get criticized. You just gotta be strong and not let jealousy and negativity bring you down. This is about you. Your fitness dreams and goals. Of what you want to achieve. It’s not about other people. This is where I come from ’cause I do this for me.

I’ve also heard from some people that 20 – 30 minutes in the gym is not a workout? In my eyes, it is a workout. That’s all I need in the gym is about 20 to 30 minutes. I just go in there and do a couple of quick things, that’s all you need. Some guys would just work their asses off too hard in the gym for a couple of hours, and that’s over training, in my opinion. The less you do, the better results you get in your physique.

Believe it or not, there are people that enjoy what I do.

I’ve been on a break from wordpress and facebook. Been busy, and still busy. Just wanted to drop in a quick line to say to the readers that this blog isn’t dead.

Thought: Marilyn Manson isn’t creepy, he just wants to be different…

Marilyn Manson and Casey Anthony have been voted the top choices of E-poll’s “Creepiest Celebrity”, list. I mean, really?

I don’t see how Marilyn Manson is creepy. His image and the things he wears is part of being different, a fashion lifestyle. Not sure what to call his style. If he wants to look like this in public, that’s who he is. That’s who he wants to be. No matter what you all think of Marilyn Manson, you gotta give him the respect. His look maybe a little weird, yes, but he had a lot of guts to look like this if he wanted to get a music career. If he didn’t look like this and looked like a regular human being like all of us, then he wouldn’t even get a music career. His shock rock image is what made him famous.

While I’m sure Marilyn himself wouldn’t think he’s creepy, I’m sure he’s flattered that he got mentioned for this anyways. It’s a free country. People can dress how they want and look how they want.

As far as Casey Anthony goes, she’s not even a celebrity. Just an accused child killer who made the news, that’s all. I don’t see how she’s famous.

If there were celebrities that should make pretty high on the list, I would prefer Chaz Bono to be no. 1 or Mike “The Situation” to be no. 2.
