Report: Steven Spielberg agreed with the public that “Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” had problems but blames Lucas…

“Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, the fourth installment to the Indy series has gotten negative feedback ever since it came out, and Steven Spielberg finally responds to the negative critics. He agreed with the public that Indy IV sucked, but he puts the blame on George Lucas for the bad movie.

Another thing that people’s been complaining about is the controversial Fridge scene in which Indy hides in to protect himself from an atomic bomb. Steven says he doesn’t blame Lucas for that scene, he blames himself.

I’m one of the very few that actually loved Indy IV, I just didn’t like Shia Labeouf starring in it. I think it was pretty much him that ruined the movie. Without Shia, the movie would have been fine.

When they do Indy V, hopefully they get rid of Shia, and I’m hoping they make Indy V a more serious movie next time around, and not a popcorn flick. I think the next Indy movie should be more like, “Raiders”. Will they do the sci-fi thing again with Indy V? I don’t think they should do it again.

I think it would be kind of cool if they do a script on the Ark of Covenant, after all, the Ark did make a brief cameo in Indy IV. They better make Indy V soon, because Harrison is getting older.

Cool Video: Metallica responds to negative feedback of “Lulu” briefly…

In this video by ArtisanNews, they did an interview with James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich to discuss, “Lulu”. They respond to the negative feedback that the album have been getting by the longtime Metallica fans. Their response? They said this album shouldn’t be judged by normal Metallica standards. I think they mean, they don’t want fans looking at this record as a strictly Metallica album which people are confused on. I agree, this is not a Metallica album. It’s a Lou Reed album with Metallica being the backup band like I said before.

James also agreed to do this project because he said he wanted to try something new and different by not being the leading man or a front man for a change. It was an opportunity for James to put his songwriting duties aside and let someone else do the work. James has been the leading frontman for years and he wanted to step back from it for a little bit. That is also why he didn’t sing much on the record and was just considered a backup singer.

I also agree with them that it was an obvious collaboration. When they jammed together at the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame show, people should have seen that collaboration coming anyway.

I loved the “Lulu” album, and I’ll be getting it for my Ipod soon.

Don’t use the gym to socialize…

Is it good to socialize in the weight room? “Yes” and “No”. The “Yes”, it’s great to meet new people and hang out with your workout partners there. Nothing wrong with that. The “No”, it isn’t good to socialize with people because you need your strict concentration during your workouts.

I’ve seen too many people at the gym, talking to each other for more than a half hour between their sets. When they get done talking, they get back to work outs to finish their sets. Happens all the time.

Why is it bad to talk to people during your workouts? It’s because your muscles are calling you to work it more. If you waste too much time talking to someone in the middle of your workout, you’re not gonna get much results out of it.

While I’m working out at the gym, I’ve had people tried to talk to me while I’m busy. It has happened to me before. It usually happens when I see someone I know at the gym. Yes, I do socialize at the gym at times, but NOT during my workouts and not in between sets. I usually do the socializing after I’m done with my workouts for the day. That’s when it’s okay to talk with people at the gym.

Long rests in between sets is not good for a lot of reasons. The same goes with talking on cell phones. When you’re doing your workouts, turn your damn cell phone off and put it away somewhere. I’ve seen people bring cell phones in the weight room all the time as well.

You’re there to work out, not talk. That’s what you got your gym membership, use it for a good reason. Don’t waste it. People seem to make the mistake that the gym is a good place to socialize and meet people. I do talk to people at the gym, don’t get me wrong, only for just a few minutes then I’ll politely say, “I need to get back to my workout, please”.

Only a couple of minutes of resting between sets is all you need. More than a half hour resting, not good. This is why I disagree with socializing in the gym. It does have something to do with health, believe it or not.

Thoughts on the show “24”…

I usually watch Netflix on TV on the days there’s nothing on cable, so I would watch a lot of “24” at night. I would have to say that the show is very “addicting”. I couldn’t stop watching it ever since I started the first episode of Season 1. I’ve just started Season 4 this week.

Jack Bauer is one of TV’s best characters, plus “24” has the best writing. The show is action packed and violent. I also love the show’s unpredictability, you just never know what will happen next. Besides Jack Bauer, some of my other favorite characters are David Palmer, Tony Almeida and of course, Kim Bauer.

So far, it’s an excellent show and I’m loving all of it. I still got ways to go to finish the series because it lasted a good 8 seasons, it’ll take me forever to get through. It’s a pretty thrilling show and I’m glad I’m finally getting into it.

So far, my favorite TV shows are: “Friday Night Lights”, “The Walking Dead”, “Game of Thrones”, “Dexter”, “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and now you can add “24” to that list.

Why didn’t I put “Lost” on there? Well I thought “Lost” was pretty good, but it wasn’t the best show ever. “Lost” had a lot of really whacky shit on there, I think to myself, JJ and Damon came up with that stuff? I do like some of the characters on “Lost” , but the writing can get really confusing at times.

After I complete “24”, I think I’m going to start watching “Breaking Bad”, because they just started streaming that show on Netflix now. I’ve heard good things about “Breaking Bad” and been wanting to check it out for a while.

Cool Video: Behind the scenes video proves Tom Cruise building stunt is real…

A behind the scenes video of “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” surfaces the web, showing the scene where Tom Cruise is doing the action scene on a tall building in, Dubai.

It proves the scene was done for real. No green screens, no special effects and no stunt doubles. That’s all Tom. He looks very confident doing that too.

No matter what you think of Tom, love him or hate him, what he did here is pretty ballsy. It gave me a little more respect for him after this. I can’t wait to see the movie, I’m definitely seeing it in theater.

See the video here, at AICN.

Report: And Tarantino’s leading lady for “Django Unchained” is…

….Kerry Washington. Yep, she has been officially hired for Tarantino’s next flick, “Django Unchained”. She will play alongside Kurt Russell, Don Johnson and others in the flick. Kerry is most famous for her roles in “Save the Last Dance”, and “Ray”, in which she played Ray Charles wife in that film.

More on it, here.

Like the article says, Tarantino has always been well known to write strong characters for women over the years, and I agree. In some weird and creepy way, Tarantino is the best at writing characters for women. In every film he does, it’s the female character that makes you want to pay attention to the most. Like Uma Thurman in “Pulp Fiction”, and “Kill Bill”. Pam Grier in “Jackie Brown”, you can also add Melanie Laurent and Diane Kruger for “Inglourious Basterds”.

This Broomhilda character, for “Django Unchained”, will probably end up stealing the show than most characters.

Kerry Washington, is a freakin’ hottie, though. Wow, what a stunning beauty! Yes, I dig black women, I would even date one if I could.

Report: Too much alcohol killed Amy Winehouse, not drugs…

Well, the official cause of death of UK pop star, Amy Winehouse have been announced. Alcohol poisoning was the result of her death, which was, “death by misadventure”. Her blood alcohol levels was more than 5 times than the legal limit for driving.

More on the story, here.

This should be a wake up call to all alcohol drinkers out there. Not just alcoholics, this goes for occasional drinkers too. It’s stuff like this is why I don’t drink anymore.

I used to get myself loaded as fuck at house parties and local band shows, but I had to cut it out. I didn’t want to see my life that way.

There are way too many drunks these days and it’s just sad. There’s nothing great about drinking. It messes your life up, no matter what you think of it.

I don’t have the good enough physique to be called a bodybuilder yet?

I have been accused by some online that I’m not a bodybuilder. Some said I don’t have the good enough physique so I won’t be considered a bodybuilder. Here’s a few progress pics, just taken now to prove them wrong.

That’s not a good enough physique to be called a bodybuilder?

My arms and shoulders, are defined pretty nicely. I got a good six pack going, and the chest are improving a little more. I’ve also been accused of not having enough lats, so I posted back shots to prove it.

To those idiots who came to my site and said I wasn’t a bodybuilder, well, here’s your proof that I am. At least, I had the guts to post shirtless pics publicly. Well, where are your progress pics and then I’ll judge if you’re a bodybuilder or not. Feel free to post ’em here, I’ll let ya.

Report: Steven Tyler falls again, but this time in a hotel shower…

*sigh* Here we go again. Steven Tyler and the band Aerosmith are in Paraguay for the start of their international tour. Steven was staying at a hotel in Asuncion, and fell while taking a shower. It was a brutal fall. Blood was everywhere and Steve knocked out several teeth. He was treated at a hospital for injuries.

More on the story, here.

It’s either he isn’t a 100% clean with the drugs & alcohol yet, or he is just getting old. I’m sure this is worrying the other guys in Aerosmith. Hope, Steven’s fall won’t end up cancelling the rest of the tour like it did the last time.
