So I’ve just seen “Top Gun: Maverick” finally and thought it was really good, loved it…

So “Top Gun: Maverick” is finally here. It has been in the theater for a long while now but I haven’t gotten to it until now. Finally, I just got around to seeing it in the theater ’cause I wanted to get my chance to see it in theater before it stopped playing. I know it’s gonna be in theater for a while longer since it’s making real big money right now.

I’m a huge “Top Gun” fan. Love the first movie so much and the second one is just as good. Actually, “Top Gun: Maverick” is even better than the first.

All the positive reviews and the buzzing of this film is not for nothing ’cause the film is actually very good. Even though the second one is new and going different directions, it still has the feeling of the first one as a way to keep the fans happy. I think it was perfect all around. Good acting, good writing and good directing. What I was most impressed with was how all the flying was done for “real”. The flying scenes were a blast to watch, more fun than the first one. It was very realistic, crazy… and best of all the movie doesn’t take itself serious. For once, a movie with no left-wing politics and no woke bullshit. I think that’s one reason the film is such a hit ’cause it pretty much stays away from political bullshit and doesn’t ram any propaganda of any kind down your throats.

This was indeed Tom Cruise’s best movie in a long while. His acting was really good in this one too. People hated on Tom Cruise for years and people are just starting to come around on the guy and just realizing that man is talented after all which is nice to see really.

Since “Top Gun: Maverick” is making mad money, I read the cast and crew are already talking about making a third one so it could end up being a trilogy? Probably.

I’m glad I went and saw it finally. You should definitely go see it if you haven’t yet.

Tom Cruise is a big movie buff like the rest of us which is interesting, honestly…

At the Cannes Film Festival during a Q & A session, Tom Cruise says he is a huge movie buff like the rest of us. He says he goes to the theaters to see every new release that comes out. He says he’ll sit in a theater with a full crowd and he’ll show up earlier so he can watch all the trailers. While he does go to the movie theaters on a regular basis, he goes incognito… meaning having one’s identity concealed… he just goes to the theater with a baseball cap on and I’m sure he wears it pulled down so he don’t get recognized. If Tom gets recognized and walks in a movie theater full of people, he could get mobbed by fans, ya know?

Since Tom likes to go to the movies pretty often, you gotta wonder if he went and saw “The Batman”, “Spiderman: No way Home” and even “The Northman” (his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman has a role in that film, btw). I bet he did went and saw all three of those movies. haha….

https://screenrant.com/tom-cruise-movie-theaters-disguise-watch/

Anyway, since Tom likes to talk about being a huge fan of cinema himself, I’m sure he doesn’t watch his own movies though. I’m sure Tom has his own movie theater at his home with surround sound where he watches BluRays, DVDs, VHS’s… even laser discs (remember those)?Just think how huge Tom’s movie library at home it must be? I’m sure he’s got a huge wall full of BluRays/DVDS/VHS for sure, I would think.

Just imagine sitting in a movie theater and Tom Cruise is sitting next to ya watching it and you didn’t even know it was him after all that time?

Since Tom has such a busy schedule with his career and all, how does he find the time to hit the theaters? Well where ever Tom is filming a movie somewhere around the United States, I’m sure he goes to the nearest theater when he’s on a break or a day off. Tom is working on movies constantly himself but I’m sure the director lets him have a break on occasion.

Tom Cruise going Off ON “MI: 7” Set, Is he an asshole and demanding on set??? No, he just has his good days and bad days…

The Sun exclusively released Tom Cruise going on off on a tirade against MI:7 film crew. Going off about how they’re not following social distancing rules and angry that they might shut down the film. I’m sure there will be mixed reactions to this… some will think Tom is an asshole and a jerk for doing that and some will think that he’s a hero that he takes covid-19 and his art in film seriously, ya know?

I’m sure many will immediately think that Mr. Cruise is a jerk and a short tempered man but don’t immediately think that. People are human, ya know? We have feelings. Actors are real people like us so they’re gonna have real feelings like us. I think Tom is just one of those people who has his good days and bad days like everyone else. Nobody knows exactly what went on before this so everyone judging Tom needs to shut their mouth. I’m sure Tom is a cool guy in real life but sometimes he just has his bad moods like we all do.

Think about it, Tom is just returning to work after doing nothing for several months or more so maybe this pandemic got to him? Everybody is stressed out in this pandemic, even famous actors.

I’m sure Tom could have handled things differently and more professionally but he’s human. I hate it when the press like The Sun gets these leaks out there ’cause they’re just being paid a lot of money to make famous people look bad and play these stupid “gotcha” moments. The entertainment media obsessed with celebrities and it’s disgusting. That’s what these fuckers are paid to do.

I just think Tom was just having a bad day or something. It happens. With that being said, I still support Tom Cruise and have no problem with this.

The “Top Gun: Maverick” teaser finally drops and it looks pretty amazing!!! I’m stoked to see it!!!

Since today is the first day of San Diego Comic Con, the “Top Gun: Maverick” trailer was shown there exclusively and now here it is online for all to see.

This is a very impressive trailer and I got goosebumps watching it. I know some of you out there may think “Top Gun” doesn’t need a sequel and I know some will be laughing about it but I think a “Top Gun” sequel will work. After you see this trailer, maybe you’ll agree now?

I’m a huge fan of the first “Top Gun” movie. I love it so freakin’ much and I can’t wait for this one. I had a feeling that it would be more like the first movie except the filming technology has improved it looks like.

No matter what your thoughts on Tom Cruise are, I bet you’re getting pumped for this movie. I know I am. I’m definitely gonna see it when it comes out for sure.

Enjoy!

Thoughts on Justin Bieber vs. Tom Cruise fight, who do I think will win???

Well, I think Tom Cruise will win, of course. As you all should know by now Justin Bieber challenged iconic actor Tom Cruise to an MMA fight in the Octagon and requested Dana White to do it for them. I know Biebs is probably joking but who knows, maybe he’s actually pretty serious and this fight could end up happening for real. It’s gonna be interesting to see how Tom is gonna respond to this.

Some of you may ask, why would Biebs challenge Tom to a fight? Does he hate him? No. Not at all. I don’t think Biebs hate Tom at all as I think he’s probably a huge fan of Tom’s movies. Justin probably watched the “Jack Reacher” and “Mission Impossible” movies and thought it would be funny to challenge Tom to a fight.

Some of you may say, “Well, movies aren’t real and Tom really doesn’t know how to fight.” Oh yes he does! While Tom didn’t have any martial arts and MMA experience, he was a wrestler back in his high school years so he does know some “fighting” skills before Hollywood.

Look at the response in this post in Quora:

https://www.quora.com/Did-Tom-Cruise-have-martial-arts-training-early-before-filming-his-first-Mission-Impossible-film-1996

Movies maybe fake but since Tom wanted to do all of his own stunts, including all of the fighting… yes, all the fighting scenes he has done over the years in movies were all him. I’m sure he was trained by martial arts professionals and MMA coaches to learn how to fight for film so Tom definitely does have plenty of fighting experience in film.

I think everybody knows that. Maybe Biebs doesn’t really want to fight Tom at all, he’s just joking and stuff, ya know? I think this is just Biebs way of showing Tom respect for doing his own fighting in action films. People are finally starting to catch on about Tom doing his own stunts and people are finally starting to give him respect for it.

I’m pretty sure Tom will respond to this challenge. I’m sure he already heard about it. Will Tom accept and could it actually happen??? Who knows. I doubt it will ’cause Tom is a pretty busy guy and I’m sure he has better things to do like making movies. He’s still working on “Top Gun 2” right now, I believe. I’m sure Tom heard about that tweet Justin posted and I’m sure Tom had a good laugh about it. Hopefully Tom responds this week.

Two more Mission Impossible movies will be coming… they will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie and both will star Tom Cruise…

I’m a huge fan of the “Mission Impossible” movies and I hope they keep making them until Tom Cruise decides he can no longer do them. I’ve been watching the M:I movies since the first one and love them all. I’ve seen “Mission Impossible: Fallout” on BluRay and so far I think “M:I Fallout” is the best one.

Of course, the ending of “M:I Fallout” left open for more films and two more M:I movies just got the green light. M:I 7 will be released in 2021 and M:I 8 will be released in 2022. Both films will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise will continue to play Ethan Hunt, of course. Chris McQuarrie directed “Rogue Nation” and “Fallout” and he’ll be directing two more.

This is good news to me ’cause I love these movies. I’ve always had immense respect for Tom Cruise ’cause I think that man is a great actor. I don’t have to hate the man ’cause of his scientology beliefs. It’s the entertainment that he gives us that matters. I know some people want to avoid his movies like the plague ’cause of his scientology and there are some that thinks the man is an asshole. I never thought he was an asshole. He seems like an alright dude to me.

I just think these Mission Impossible movies are entertaining as hell. I also respect the hell out of Mr. Cruise ’cause he did most of his own stunts throughout these movies. He did stunts through through these movies that could have killed him and I don’t see that stopping for the next two films. Seeing that Tom has the balls to do his own stunts at the age he is at now makes me respect him even more. That’s a part of why I continue to watch these films. I think they’re all great movies.

Val Kilmer officially returning to “Top Gun” sequel to reprise his role as the Iceman…

This is great news and it’s just another reason to get all excited for the “Top Gun” sequel. Iceman is coming back! Which is really cool ’cause this movie wouldn’t work without the Iceman.

“Top Gun: Maverick” has already started filming this summer and now the casting has just started.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/top-gun-2-casts-val-kilmer-maverick-1117795

So far Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer are the only two stars confirmed for the sequel. I’m sure the film makers will sign more to the film so we’ll have to wait and see. Will Kelly McGillis return as Charlie Blackwood who played Maverick’s lover in the first one? I think there’s a pretty good chance we’ll see her too. Only thing though, Kelly is 60 years old now so I’m not sure a love story continuing between her and Maverick would work. I’m sure they’re gonna get Maverick a new love interest in the new movie, a younger female, of course but I’m sure Kelly will be back.

I think it’s a possibility this film could be a full on reunion. Everyone from the first movie could be coming back including Tom Skerritt as Viper.

Of course, the only character that can’t be returning to the new movie is obviously Goose ’cause you all know what happened to him in the first movie, right? It would be cool if Anthony Edwards could return but it wouldn’t work. I’m sure there’ll be some Goose flashbacks and I’m sure the film will honor Goose in some way by having someone else to play piano to sing “Great Balls of Fire” or “You Lost that Loving Feeling”.

Back to Val Kilmer… it’s gonna be interesting, though. I haven’t seen Val Kilmer in a new movie in many years. I think Kilmer is a phenomenal actor and he has starred in many great films in the 80’s and 90’s. I think the reason we haven’t seen much of Val lately is ’cause he has been having health problems, lately, I think? Looks like he’s all better now.

Can’t wait to see who the rest of the cast will be. There will be some familiar faces from the first movie and I’m sure they will bring in some new actors as well. I’m sure they’ll find Maverick a new love interest, a new female and younger. You know how all Tom Cruise movies are. He always have a young hot looking love interest in his movies. They’ll do the same with this one as well. Anyway, it’s gonna be really cool to see Val and Tom reunite ’cause they haven’t starred in a movie together ever since the first Top Gun movie was released in 1986.

Tom Cruise confirms “Top Gun: Maverick” is his next film and it just started filming…

After completing work of the latest MI movie, “Mission Impossible: Fallout”… it looks like Tom Cruise, Jerry Bruckheimer and Paramount Pictures aren’t wasting any time on the upcoming “Top Gun” sequel and getting right to work on it right away. The next Top Gun movie is simply titled: “Top Gun: Maverick”.

The cast is unknown at this time and so far the only cast confirmed for this movie is, of course, Tom Cruise. I’m sure the film crew will start the casting while the movie is filming. This means that Tom is filming all the jet flying scenes first? That’s what it’s looking like to me.

Anyhow, I’m sure we’re going to see some familiar faces from the first movie. Will Val Kilmer come back as the Iceman? Hopefully. Will Kelly McGillis reprise her role as Charlie? Hopefully. I think those two needs to come back and it’s a possibility. Will Tom Skerritt return as the Viper? Who knows. We’ll just have to wait and find out.

I’m glad this movie is happening ’cause I love the first movie so much. I know Tom has a lot of haters out there but I never understood why. I think the man is an amazing actor, in my opinion. In fact, I am a huge fan and always has been. I’m not afraid to admit that I grew up watching his movies over the years of my life and you did too despite his Scientology beliefs. Love him or hate him all you want but he’s been in some good films over the years.

Can’t wait for Top Gun 2 and I’m sure they’ll do the film justice and make it more like the first one.

Why you shouldn’t listen to movie critics, just go by your own opinion on a film and screw the rest…

I respected the legacy of Roger Ebert but he wasn’t always the greatest critic. He always had a problem of giving really good movies “bad reviews” and giving really bad movies “good reviews”. Ever since Ebert passed away, that continues to be a problem in the movie industry. Critics giving good movies “bad reviews” and giving bad movies, “good reviews”. Movie critics are wrong all of the fucking time, it’s ridiculous.

Let me tell you some examples of what I mean by that:

Good movies that critics gave “bad reviews”:

Movie critics slammed the hell out of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice”. It was getting slammed everywhere and movie fans went along with it. Despite the negative reviews, many people went and saw the movie and it made lots of money. Turned out to be a big hit. Even though the film got negative reviews, I thought the film was fucking amazing. I still think it was an amazing film.

Bad movies that critics gave “good reviews”:

One movie I can think of at the top of my head that critics loved but I hated was “Mad Max: Fury Road”. Critics gave it rave reviews everywhere. I didn’t see much negative things said about the movie but when I went and actually saw it for myself, I was like, “What the fuck did I just watch?”. I didn’t like it at all. Tried to watch it again when it first came out on Bluray, my feelings on the film remained the same. I didn’t see what was so special about that film. People even went as far as calling it a “masterpiece” and I’m like really? I can think of plenty of films that were masterpieces films like “Citizen Kane”, “Casablanca”, “The Last of the Mohicans”, “The Godfather”, “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, etc. Those films, in my opinion are the true masterpieces. “Mad Max: Fury Road” was not.

I really believe movie critics are taking the enjoyment out of watching the movie. As long as they say it then it must be true. I’m not gonna refuse to see a movie ’cause a critic says it’s bad. If I want to go see a movie then I’ll go see it, I don’t give a shit what their opinion is.

A lot of critics are slamming the hell out of “The Mummy” with Tom Cruise. As long as that movie is getting slammed, it makes me want to go  see it more. As long as the critics hate it then it must be a good movie. I hate movie critics. In fact, I despise them so much. I don’t listen to any of them and you shouldn’t either. Just go by your own opinion alone. That’s how it should be.

Movie critics are getting paid a lot of money to ram their opinions down our throats. Telling us not to go see a movie ’cause they think it’s bad and telling us go see it ’cause they think it’s good. Don’t listen to these people. Just like what you like and screw the rest. That’s been my attitude for years. I would like to go try to see “The Mummy” before it stops playing ’cause it looks great, in my opinion.

There are movies that I loved that everybody hated and movies that I hated that everybody loved. Just use your own voice, use your own opinion. You’ll feel better that way, trust me.

Tom Cruise reveals more details about “Top Gun 2” and also reveals the title…

Tom Cruise the man himself did this interview with Access Hollywood and he gave us more details on the upcoming “Top Gun” sequel. He says the name of the movie is gonna be, “Top Gun: Maverick”.

Tom says that the next film is gonna have the same tone as the first one. It’s gonna be pretty much the same as the first. Same music. Same style. Everything. Yes, they’re gonna use the same music that was composed by Harold Faltermeyer.

So if you loved the first movie, don’t worry y’all, sounds like the film crew will not want to disappoint you at all. It’s gonna be a movie that Top Gun fans would want. It’ll have everything the jets and more flying like the first one.

Since Tom said that they will be bringing back the same music does that mean they’ll be using the “Anthem” theme song which is the main theme of the movie? (listen to song in video below).

While I’m glad a Top Gun sequel is happening and it’s going to be pretty similar to the first one, it’s still going to be slightly different ’cause why? Different director. Tony Scott was the one that made the film for what it is. Even if a different director tries to match Tony’s filming style, he won’t be able to do it. Each director has his own style.

One thing to think about though, will everyone from the first movie return for the sequel? Will it be a full-on reunion? Kelly McGillis coming back as Maverick’s girlfriend, Charlie? Tom Skerritt reprise his role as Viper? Val Kilmer coming back as Iceman? Hopefully. I think they all will probably return.

I hope they do a good job with the sequel ’cause if they do it right, I can see it being a huge box office hit. Top Gun was one of Tom’s best films. It’s a film that has been a part of all of our lives.

I wonder who the director is gonna be? Tony is gone so he won’t do it obviously. I’m sure they will find a director and hope they pick a good one.
