I am noticing that many people online claim that going to Mars, to land there and explore the planet will be just as easy as going to the Earth’s moon. Wrong. You see, Mars is not the moon. I can go googling plenty of information on how difficult and dangerous it can be travelling to Mars.

It may be easy to travel to the Moon, but Mars is a totally different story.
From the article itself on how it would be difficult travelling to Mars:
1. Distances are extreme range for any possible backup to a Mars mission.
2. It’s a long trip, using rockets. A better drive would be required.
3. The resources required have to fit into the equivalent of a tin can, and move back and forth between orbits.
4. Survival systems for both the trip and landing have to be excellent, better than anything previous.
5. Navigation and landing can’t be taken for granted, either. Landing probes has been problematic in the past.
6. Micro dust which is all pervasive, and a probable threat to equipment.
7. It’s ultra expensive.
I mean think about it, do you think NASA can just blast a US Space Shuttle or a regular rocket and just travel to Mars that way? No. NASA would have to build a better space craft than that. Which would take years and lots of money to build an appropriate space craft that would be capable enough of going to Mars.
They would need a space craft that can protect them from radiation.

If you read the article carefully there is something called GCR in space which is a supernova explosions that travel at the speed of light, it can also cause cancer through your body.
All of this will take years of investigation and research. You can’t just get in a rocket or a space shuttle and just go.
Also, it can even be very dangerous even if astronauts are walking around on Mars. If you look up Mars resource, there are volcanoes, not only that, Mars is known to having really strong dust storms. Think how that would be like if astronauts are walking around on Mars and suddenly a huge dust storm blows past them. After they’re done exploring Mars and ready to go home (if they can make it out alive), they also need to research a safe way exiting Mars. They might find a way to land on the planet, but leaving Mars might be a bit challenging.
What if the space craft gets broken down and it needs repairing. NASA won’t be able to travel to Mars to give them the equipment they need to fix the space craft. It could break down on their way into the planet before the landing. It could happen to the same when leaving.
Hey, don’t get me wrong. I want to see the first humans walking around Mars successfully as people would want that dream to happen, I think it would be fantastic. It would make world history, indeed. Just don’t expect this to happen right away. The Earth’s moon was successful ’cause it was easier and closer. Mars is a totally different thing. I just don’t think it’ll ever happen. People just need to quit living in their fantasy worlds and look at reality for once.
