BREAKING NEWS: Fox confirms “24: Live Another Day”, Kiefer Sutherland set to return as Jack Bauer…

HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! \m/ I’m pretty stoked for this.

FOX makes the huge announcement this morning that they have ordered a 12 episode run for, “24: Live Forever”, which will makes it debut in the summer of 2014!!! Kiefer has officially signed on to return as Jack Bauer. The show will still have it’s original format. The split screens, the ticking clock, the violence, action scenes, Jack Bauer’s short tempered personality, etc.

Look like the new series will leave off from where the final season ended, after all. It’ll take place several years after the events of the finale of the final season. Howard Gordon is on board again, so that makes it even better.

No plot points have been revealed yet, but I hope they don’t do any of the Jack Bauer hunts down Osama Bin Laden or any of the Boston Bombing stuff. Will any of the characters from the earlier seasons return? I really hope Elisha Cuthbert will return as Kim Bauer. Maybe Carlos Bernard can return as Tony Almeida too (minor spoiler: Tony is not dead yet, was just arrested by the FBI).

This is fantastic news that “24” is coming back. It’s about time too!

See the official press release, here.

Report: Kiefer Sutherlund in negotiations to return to “24” but as mini-series???

Sometimes you gotta feel bad for Kiefer. Kiefer tries to do other projects besides, “24”, but when he tries other things (like other TV shows, movie roles, etc.) he is not successful. It seems he only gets success with, “24”. FOX is cancelling his show, “Touch”, after two seasons, so they are immediately looking for more work for Kiefer. It’s no surprise they are thinking about bringing “24” back to the small screen. I loved “24”. Saw every episode back-to-back, watched every season on Netflix a long while back. “24” is awesome. What’s going on with the big screen “24” movie they’ve been planning for years? Is that still happening or is that the project being turned into a TV movie instead? Either way, as long as Jack Bauer is coming back, that makes me happy.

It’s amazing to me how Kiefer doesn’t get tired of playing that character. He spent a lot of years playing that character. So I don’t think he’s completely done with Jack Bauer anytime soon. He is a badass character. For the new series they are planning, it’s not going to leave off from where the earlier seasons ended. They are starting it from scratch, in other words, a re-boot? So I don’t think we’re gonna see any of the other characters from the earlier seasons return at all, just Jack Bauer alone with completely new characters. I’m completely okay with that, ’cause like I said, Jack Bauer fuckin’ rules! Love the show, and I’ll welcome a comeback!

Deadline reports.

Report: We’ll have to wait even longer for the big screen “24”, will this movie ever happen???

Earlier this year, Kiefer kept hinting through interviews that the big screen, “24”, could start shooting this Spring. Well, not anymore. Like the ticking clock is forcing us to wait even longer. It’s being pushed back for a few reasons: One, Kiefer is not happy with the payment of the movie. Two, Kiefer and the film crew don’t want to rush the film. Three, Kiefer’s new show “Touch”, is getting in the way with it.

Deadline, reports.

I guess waiting longer is okay with me. Take your time to make the movie real good, if it ever happens. Most of the shows beloved characters like David Palmer and Bill Buchannan were killed off, so they won’t be able to return to the film at all. The only characters that could return are Chloe and Tony.

The Jack Bauer story can continue. If Kiefer no longer wants the film, there can’t be a replacement ’cause Jack Bauer can only be played by Kiefer, no one else.

All done watching “24” on Netflix, finally!!!!

Last night, I finally finished watching “24” on Netflix. Yes, I finished watching the last of Season 8, the final season. It was quite a ride watching the show. It seemed like it took me forever to watch the show since it was so long, but I went through it. I just couldn’t stop watching and was pretty obsessed with the show. I did like all seasons, but I’m going to rank  the seasons in order of which ones I loved the best:

6, 1, 3, 2, 5, 4, 7, 8

Yes, I still think Season 6 was the best Season of them all, ’cause it was Kiefer’s best performance.

I really can’t wait for the big screen, “24” movie. I hope it will be a good plot. Hope it will have good action and hope it will be more violent and dark than the TV show. I can now understand why everyone wants a “24” movie ’cause Jack Bauer is still alive at the end of the show and people wanted more. I just hope the “24” movie won’t suck and that’s what I’m worried about.

Now that I’m done with “24” on Netflix, I’m planning to start “Breaking Bad” on there later tonight. I’ll catch up with the 4 seasons before Season 5 later this year. Season 4 of “Breaking Bad” is not on DVD yet but it will be coming soon. I’ll just watch the first 3 seasons on Netflix and will buy Season 4 on DVD when it comes out. After I catch up with “Breaking Bad”, I’m going to start watching, “Sons of Anarchy”. Those are the next two TV shows, I plan to watch next on Netflix.

I don’t know why people treat Netflix in a negative direction. I love the service, and I vow to keep it.

Report: Kiefer gives more details on the big screen “24” movie!!!

Since the “24” big screen movie has been announced, the fans have wondered how the movie is going to do the timing. You know, the ticking clock thing. Kiefer is slowly giving us more details on the big screen film of, “24”. He says the film will not be in real time. They’re going for a different feeling this time around.

Also, will this film get a hard R rating after all? Kiefer hints that Jack Bauer will have a bit of a potty mouth and he may swear & cuss at the badguys.

Read what Kiefer have to say, here.

As you can see, Kiefer is still keeping the plot/synopsis of the movie secret. Will Tony Almeida and Chloe O’ Bryan return? It’ll be interesting if they do.

I love it that we may get a foul mouth Jack Bauer. If you seen the show, that guy doesn’t mess around. When Bauer gets pissed, you should be scared. That’s one reason why I love the character so much. Can you hear Bauer screaming, “Where’s the fucking bomb?” Then I can picture the audience in the theater cheering for him after saying that.

I hope we get an R rated, “24” movie, so we can hear some swearing  and it can be a violent movie with blood and all.

“24 – Movie” Possible spoilers on character returns…

With the upcoming 24 movie in the works, we are all questioning on what characters will be returning to the movie from the TV show that was aired on FOX. I’m still in the middle of Season 7, halfway through the season. A lot of folks out there wondered if the show’s most notable characters: Bill Buchannan, Tony Almeida and Chloe O’Brien, will return to the big screen film or not…

If you haven’t seen 24, don’t read any further…there might be some spoilers on what characters could and won’t return…..

***************************SPOILER WARNING**************************

***********************************************************************

************************************************************************
************************************************************************

Bill Buchanan, will not be able to return ’cause he was killed off in Season 7. Unless, the writers could figure out a way to bring James Morrison who played the character back for flashback scenes.

I can definitely see Tony Almeida coming back for the 24 big screen movie, ’cause he returned in Season 7.

Chloe O’ Bryan possibly.

********************************END SPOILER****************************

I’m still not done with the show yet, almost there. I love the show so much though and really can’t wait for the big screen movie.

As a matter of fact, there was already a “24” movie, but it was straight to TV movie only, “24: Redemption”. I’m sure they could do the big screen movie with no problems.

Report: Kiefer says, “24” big screen movie should start shooting at the end of April…

While Kiefer is out there doing promotional work for his new show, “Touch”, he gave some info on the upcoming, “24”, movie. All he said was that the film plans to start shooting at the end of April. That was all the info he gave us. Didn’t give us details on the casting or plot, maybe he wasn’t allowed to yet?

Read more, here.

Well, I’m very happy to hear that Kiefer is still committed to playing, Jack Bauer! I love “24”! It’s my new obsession and I think Jack Bauer is one of the greatest TV characters ever created. The guy is a fuckin’ badass! I just finished “Season 6” over the weekend and I think it’s the best season. Showed Kiefer’s best acting in “Season 6”. “Season 6” also told a great storyline, James Cromwell was a badguy in it. They had a father vs. son storyline going in that season. Awesome. That season ended with a happy ending for once.

As for what characters to return for the film, David Palmer, Tony Almeida and Michelle can’t comeback ’cause they were killed off. In fact, the show killed off most of the show’s popular characters.

The only characters I see coming back for the big screen “24” movie, are Chloe O’ Bryan, Kim Bauer, and Bill Buchanan. Maybe Audrey and her father would return too.

I still have plenty of time to catch up with “24”, before the big screen movie comes out. I have two more seasons left to go. I would think the “24” movie won’t come out until 2013 or ’14.

I’m just praying that the film will have a good plot. I hope the film won’t suck and hope they do a good job. They need a villain that everyone will want to hate. They need to leave Bin Laden and 9/11 out of things. With this film being part of Hollywood, it would give them an opportunity to use more expensive special effects than what they did with TV. I just hope they don’t over do the CGI and it shouldn’t be a 3D movie.

We want to see Jack Bauer kicking some serious ass in the “24” movie. If the first, “24”, film will be successful which I’m sure it will be, there’s probably going to be sequels after. I also hope it gets a hard R rating, I hope it won’t be PG-13.

I’m going to be keeping an eye on “24” movie news as the film develops. I’m so glad the film is finally moving forward.

Why I think Fox is on a rush for that “24” big screen movie…

Why is Fox on a rush for that “24” movie? I think it’s because of twitter, possibly. The day that Bin Laden was found and killed, Jack Bauer have been a trending topic on twitter for a long while. People were also talking about Jack Bauer in facebook because of the Bin Laden killing. That’s what made FOX get right to work on the “24” movie. They might go for the Jack Bauer hunting down Bin Laden plot because of that, and I hope they don’t go for it, honestly.

It’s going to be interesting to see what the plot for the “24” film is going to be. I just hope they don’t mess this movie up. I would like it to be a major hit and be successful. I want it to be a really good movie as well.

Thought: Questions about the upcoming “24” movie…

After the announcement of the “24” movie officially happening, there are some questions that needs answers for the upcoming film.

Here they are:

  • How is the film going to be shot in real time? – I don’t think this will be a 24 hour long movie. It’ll probably be about 2 or 3 hours. Will they split the movie in different sequels? It’s going to be interesting how they’re going to pull this off.
  • Will the original cast return? Will everyone from the TV show comeback, all the characters? Tony, Chloe, Bill, Edgar, Kim, etc. I’m sure we’re going to see some familiar faces. David Palmer and Michelle can’t comeback ’cause they were killed off in Season 5.
  • Will there be a lot of split screens? “24” is known for it’s split screens throughout the show, I’m sure the movie will do the same, but with this being Hollywood, I’m sure they will do the split screens much differently.
  • What is the plot? How will the action be? – The film needs to have a really good plot if they want people to care about “24”, again. The show is also known for being violent and having lots of action. I’m sure the movie will be the same. Again, with this being Hollywood, this is an opportunity for the film to be even more violent than the TV show. I’m hoping it won’t be PG-13 rated and it will get a hard R rating.
  • Will they pick a big name star or an unknown actor for the film’s leading villain? – Most of the 24 villains from the TV shows have been unknown actors, but I think they should go for a big name for this one.

That’s pretty much it. Once the film hires a director, they’ll get right to work on the casting next. It’s going to be interesting on how they’re going to pull the “24” movie off. I hope they do it right.

I started watching Season 5 last night. I had enough with WWE RAW, so I skipped it and watched “24” on Netflix instead.

BREAKING NEWS: “24” big screen movie confirmed to start production in Spring of 2012!!!

This is great news for “24” fans, like myself! Look like the “24” big screen movie is definitely going to happen after all, because Mark Bomback, a screenwriter for “The Wolverine” and “Shadow Divers” will hand in the final script for 20th Century Fox. Since Tony Scott dropped out of the project, the studio has about 5 different directors in mind. So as soon as a director is hired, the studio plans to get the “24” movie in production very quickly, soon to be starting in, April of 2012.

Deadline, reports.

I see a late 2013 release date for this movie. I’m so glad that Kiefer is on board to playing Jack Bauer again. I’m still halfway through the show on Netflix, I still need to start Season 5 which I will tonight. At least, I have plenty of time to catch up with the show before the big screen movie comes out!

This is exciting news. I’m sure the rest of the characters will return. I’m sure the movie will have a great plot and lots of non stop action. Just think what  “24” big screen movie would be like. While the TV show can get violent and graphic, the movie is an opportunity for a hard R rating. The “24” movie needs to be an epic action movie. I hope they don’t give it a PG-13 rating ’cause “24” is certainly not family friendly. I remembered the show was aired late at night on FOX.

I hope they don’t do the Bin Laden plot and I hope they leave 9/11 out of it ’cause that would be silly. Jack Bauer going after terrorists in Afghanistan is fine though.
