Thought: Willing to give Adamle a chance, and also why he was picked as RAW GM…

You know, if I think about it long enough, Mike Adamle just might be a perfect choice for a RAW GM, I shouldn’t really jump in quick and say he’s going to suck at this role. I should give it more time, watch him on RAW more and then I can judge his performance. RAW wants to go for a different direction. They want to do something that hasn’t been done before, so they picked a veteran announcer to be RAW GM. WWE wanted to give someone who is not that well known a chance and an opportunity to get more screen time. With Mike Adamle being RAW GM, it could turn out interesting and be intense.

Mike Adamle is a legendary sports announcer, I’m sure all the sports fans outside of the wrestling community already knows who the man is. Mike Adamle becoming RAW GM is a ploy to get more ratings. To help attract American Gladiator fans and sports fans to start watching RAW. I think that is the main reason why WWE has chosen him.

To watch the ending of last night’s RAW watch the video below. Watch it quick before it gets pulled down.

BREAKING NEWS: Mike Adamle named new RAW General Manager…

Legendary sports announcer Mike Adamle was named the new RAW General Manager announced by Shane McMahon at the end of tonight’s RAW. The announcement was left with no crowd reaction at all. I myself was even watching the screen with a wtf look on my face.

Before Adamle joined WWE, he worked with NBC Sports, American Gladiators in the early 90’s, and worked for Sportscenter for a short time. He was also a former NFL football player who played for the Jets, the Bears, and the Chiefs.

At the end of RAW, Adamle did his first job by announcing the main event for this year’s “Summerslam” which will be John Cena vs. Batista.

My thoughts?

I’m dissapointed. Stupid WWE! I was actually expecting it to be Vicky Guerrero but I guess WWE is keeping her on Smackdown because that was Eddie’s home brand. I would have liked to have seen Vicky as RAW GM better than Adamle.

I hope Adamle don’t last long and they’ll make a better choice in the future.

Report: Shane McMahon to appear on RAW this Monday, and to announce new RAW GM?

Shane McMahon who is the real life son of Vince McMahon will appear on RAW this Monday night to announce the new RAW GM.

From WWE.com:

http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/preview/6876948/

Who will the new RAW GM be?

Will it be Eric Bischoff, Theadore Long, Vicky Guerrero or even Stone Cold Steve Austin?

My guess it will be a tie between Vicky Guerrero or Stone Cold. It wouldn’t surprise me if it is Stone Cold.

Thought: Vicky Guerrero to be the next RAW GM?

Since the RAW draft a week ago, Vicky Guerrero has been on RAW since. But without Edge this time around. I think the WWE officials were testing her of the crowd reaction she was getting on last Monday’s RAW. And man, let me tell ya, Vicky Guerrero, got booed like crazy. It was probably the most strongest “boos” and “heat” a performer ever gotten in WWE in a long time.

I know there are a lot of Vicky Guerrero haters out there but honestly, I’m not one of them. I never said I hated Vicky Guerrero as a performer, I just didn’t like her romance storyline with Edge. If WWE lets Vicky perform alone without Edge by her side all the time, Vicky could be quite an interesting heel performer.

I have a feeling she will be made the new RAW GM. Storywise, Mr. McMahon would love her personality that she would remind him of himself. Vicky Guerrero is sick and twisted just like Mr. McMahon is. I would be honest, that I actually liked Vicky Guerrero’s performance on last Monday’s RAW. She actually got the crowd booing at her which is actually a good sign. She did good on the mic skills last night.

Vicky peforming in WWE is something that Eddie would have wanted. Eddie would have loved her for this. When she performs as a “heel” you notice she is doing a bit of an Eddie Guerrero style, her performing skills to live up to her late husband, because Eddie Guerrero was mostly a heel when he was alive in WWE.

Vicky will probably end up being the next RAW GM. RAW the last few weeks, have been having no one in charge. No McMahon. No RAW GM. The Superstars themselves have been running their own show, which is interesting. A good storyline for a change.

Last night on RAW, Kane the Big Red Machine finally turned into the nasty monster that I’ve always wanted him to turn back to, he’s finally the monster again he’s supposed to be! I’m glad for the WWE Draft, different superstars and new main eventers on RAW, very cool. RAW was actually an entertaining show last night.

I have always liked wrestler JBL, he’s really good on the mic and a good badguy you love to hate. Bradshaw has always been a great performer.

Report: Vince McMahon freak accident from last Monday’s RAW being pushed as real…

If you google search WWE and Vince McMahon you’ll see that news reports are saying that Vince McMahon was seriously injured on that RAW episode while viewers are all saying it was a fake accident as part of the storyline.

As you saw on that youtube video, Vince was standing on stage while sparks were flying, he was looking around pretending to be scared to death. Then he made him look like he was falling off the stage and onto the floor, when he failed at that acting, it was very clear he jumped off the stage. Before the “Vince’s Million Dollary Mania” stage sign fell over, Vince quickly hit the floor before the thing landed on him. He was trying to make it look like the stage sign crushed him when he failed at that too. He layed down on the floor pretty quickly before the sign even had the chance to land on his head.

While Vince McMahon is a great performer and actor, he didn’t do very good acting at that segment and should have rehearsed it more to make it look like sign crushed him. Vince McMahon will be gone from RAW for a while longer ’cause storywise he’ll be at the hospital recovering when he’ll be really be backstage off camera hanging with the superstars. William Regal is no longer the RAW General Manager.

So who will be in charge of the RAW brand with no RAW GM? Could Vicky Guerrero possibly get drafted to RAW as the new RAW General Manager? It is very likely. While everyone is hating on Vicky Guerrero, I don’t see her leaving WWE anytime soon. Vicky Guerrero is a heel performer which means she is a bad person and supposed to be hated. As long as the crowd hates her, she stays. Sorry to say this, but I do see Vicky Guerrero being drafted to RAW as the new RAW GM.

Triple H is now a Smackdown star, so this means Smackdown has two champions. I do see John Cena winning the belt from Triple H at “Night of the Champions” this Sunday so RAW can have a Champion belt, and Triple H will fight for the title against Edge on Smackdown. Makes sense now does it? Sure it does. I don’t see Edge going anywhere, he’ll stay right on Smackdown and Vicky gets drafted to RAW instead of Edge.

Vince’s freak accident on last Monday’s RAW is just a way of ending the “Million Dollar Mania” and a way of bringing in Vicky Guerrero as the new RAW GM when she’s drafted.

Cool Video: Vince McMahon gets squashed on last night’s RAW…

At last year’s RAW DRAFT 3 hour episode Vince hopped in a limo and it exploded. They were going to do a “Who killed Vince McMahon” storyline but they ditched it due to the real life Chris Benoit tragedy, they quickly ended the storyline by faking Vince’s death.

This year, they are trying something similar with Vince. It’s obviously fake, it’s a new storyline angle they are starting, possibly a “who attacked Vince McMahon” storyline coming.

Is this the return of Stone Cold? Or did Ric Flair do this to Vince as Flair’s way of giving him payback for forcing him to retire from WWE storywise.

Enjoy the ending of RAW below.

Edit to add: In the video when you hear Vince saying “Paul, Paul, Paul, Paul,”, he’s calling out Triple H ’cause that’s his real birth name Paul Levesque.

Report: More Vince McMahon controversy at the end of tonight’s RAW…

This could be the end of “Mr. McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania” folks. On tonight’s RAW, at the end of it, Vince McMahon sparked more controversy on his own self. Just after giving away half a million dollars after Triple H was announced he’s drafted to Smackdown, McMahon’s “Million Dollar Titantron” fell on top of him, and was taken out in a stretcher.

What will we get next? Is there a “Who attacked Vince McMahon on RAW ” storyline coming? Or will Vince fake his own attack again just like he faked his death in the blowing up the limo segment a year back? Who knows, Vince McMahon is indeed the king of all controversy in entertainment media.

I’m kind of dissapointed Triple H is getting moved to Smackdown. Looks like Edge will be getting drafted to RAW soon. Now all Triple H fans have to deal with Vicky Guerrero ruining his matches on Smackdown. What if Edge don’t get drafted at all and he stays on Smackdown, does that mean Smackdown will have two Champions? What will RAW have without a main event championship belt?

I’m betting my money Edge will get drafted to RAW. Since Triple H is my favorite, I’m going to have to start watching Smackdown now although I have to put up with Vicky Guerrero’s annoying mic skills.

Report: Three hour RAW special did nothing for ratings…ouch!!!

While the three presidential candidates addressing to the WWE fans got big media coverage, that still didn’t help the ratings for last Monday’s 3 hour RAW King of the Ring/Presidential special. That Monday’s RAW scored 3.0 ratings overall.

More on it here:

http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/wrestling/blog/2008/04/good_news_bad_news_for_wwe.html

Guess no one cared for King of the Ring being back and everybody already predicted they were going to bring in fake impersonators for Hillrod and the Barack.

WWE is failing in the ratings because it’s not what it used to be in the Attitude days during the 90’s when Stone Cold and the Rock were around.

I also think John Cena hogging up too much TV time is another reason for WWE ratings going down.

Bring back Stone Cold Steve Austin full time (rumour has it, he is coming back full time) and the ratings would sure sky rocket high.

Report: William Regal crowned as King of the Ring…

After a long hiatus, the King of the Ring is back. And a new King has been crowned on last night’s RAW three hour special. William Regal, the current RAW general manager is now King of the WWE.

I assume that the WWE canned “King of the Ring” because of low buy rates of the ppvs.

Last night’s RAW was pretty good, William Regal wrestled well and he was actually entertaining in the ring. What does this mean now?

Does this mean no RAW GM for Regal? Will there be a replacement?

If there is going to be a RAW GM replacement since Regal maybe wrestling full time, I would say bring Eric Bischoff back. I miss that guy.
