Royal Rumble last night… a review…

So last night, I watched the Royal Rumble. I had no interest in watching the Grammy Awards last night so I skipped it and watched the Rumble instead which was a lot better. I thought it was a pretty damn good Rumble ppv but could have been better. The best matches of the night were the Men’s Rumble and the Women’s Rumble, but the rest of it was too predictable. Most of the ppv was predictable when it comes to the winner but one thing that had unexpected surprises was the Men’s Rumble.

When it comes to the Men’s Rumble match, everybody was expecting either Cena Or Reigns to win. Most every thought Reigns was gonna win the whole thing but the winner turned out to be someone else surprisingly. That winner is a Japanese wrestler by the name of Shinsuke Nakamura. He won the Rumble last night which was actually pretty shocking and unexpecting. WWE did something right for once by giving the Men’s Rumble winner to Nakamura ’cause it’s well deserving and that guy is very talented. So looks like it’s gonna be Nakamura vs. AJ Styles @ WM-34 for the WWE Championship.

They did that ’cause it looks like WWE still wants Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for ‘Mania 34 and they’ll figure out a way to make it happen still.

During the Men’s Rumble, there were a few surprise one-off returns of past superstars. Rey Mysterio and The Hurricane both made an appearance during the Rumble. I’m sure they’re not back in the WWE full time, just a one-off but it was still awesome to see them, though! That’s all we got in the Men’s rumble when it comes to surprise entrants, just Mysterio and Hurricane Helms. We didn’t get the Undertaker, the Rock, Hulk Hogan, Sting, etc. None of those guys.

As far as the first ever Women’s Rumble goes, I thought it was surprisingly good even though we all knew Asuka would probably win that one and she did. It was still a fun and exciting as hell match. A lot of past female superstars came back as one-offs during the match: Trish Stratus, Lita, Michelle McCool, Jacqueline, Vickie Guerrero, Kelly Kelly, Molly Holly and a few others. I thought the women did a good job. I know the wrestling fans are getting all mad ’cause they’re not gonna like women main eventing a big ppv but hey, I think the women deserve this. In the past, women didn’t get to main event much and I think they finally deserve to.

After the women’s Rumble got over with, we got another big surprise that Ronda Rousey suddenly showed up. She showed up paying tribute to Roddy Piper as you can see in the pic below:

Ronda Rousey suddenly shows up. #RoyalRumble2018

Yes, that is really Roddy Pipers jacket she’s wearing. I’ve read somewhere that Ronda is gonna be working for WWE on a full time schedule. She signed a full-time contract so she’s definitely not a one-off. She’ll be a part of the new women’s division now. I’m not a big fan of Ronda’s liberal politics but I’m still a fan of her. I’ve always liked Ronda and think she’ll be good for WWE. Ronda paid tribute to Piper ’cause she’s not just a fan, her and Piper were lifelong best friends. So this means we have two former UFC stars in WWE now. Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey which is cool, in my opinion. Ronda is already getting a lot of haters of her being in WWE now, but give her a chance. Don’t be so quick to judge. She’s new and I think she’s gonna have a great run.

Ronda Rousey should consider having Dominick Cruz as her friend/mentor…

After Ronda’s fight against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in which Ronda lost miserably, Ronda couldn’t take the loss very well. After that fight got over with Ronda gave the ref some nasty looks and then she stormed out of the cage. She didn’t stay to give Amanda respect or answer questions from Joe Rogan.

In the video above is Dominick Cruz who lost the fight to Cody Garbrandt. Watch the video above, seriously. It’s good stuff. Dominick sure knows how to be humble about losing a fight! I think Ronda should have Dominick Cruz has her friend/mentor. This guy would be perfect on how to give advice to Ronda on dealing with a loss.

Ronda was the one who talked Dana White into having women fight in UFC and Dana gave her what she wanted. Ronda was undefeated for a little while and now she’s finally starting to lose. Ronda have to learn that if she wants to get into the fighting business, she’s not gonna win all the time. I used to support and love Ronda but now I’m losing my respect for her simply because of her bitchy attitude. There’s no doubt that Ronda is a bit of a narcissist and egomaniac. I think everybody in UFC has got her fighting skills all figured out.

Like most people, I too think it’s ridiculous that Ronda got paid $3 million for this fight even though she lost. Bullshit. She’s really that valuable to the company? Soon people are gonna forget her. Ronda should listen to Dominick Cruz above as to how to deal with a loss! Kudos Domonick! That’s the name of the game when you want to get into professional fighting sports, you’re either gonna win or lose. Ronda thinks that bantamweight title is all for herself when she needs to realize that other women are going to come after her for that belt.

Ronda clearly doesn’t like to lose fights at all but she needs to learn to take it like an adult. Quit crying Ronda and deal with it!

Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes, was that her final fight in UFC for Ronda? If so, what’s next???

Well last night on PPV, I watched UFC 207 ’cause I didn’t want to miss the Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes championship fight. While it was disappointing and sad that Ronda took a good beating and lost, it was still a good fight anyways. I was hoping Ronda would come back in true form and beat Amanda’s ass but instead, the opposite happened. Amanda ended up beating Ronda pretty quick. The fight was very quick. It only lasted a couple of seconds. All it took was a couple of punches for Amanda to win and that was it. The referee stopped the fight. Still a good fight though and it made me like Amanda Nunes even more.

I thought all the other fights were really good too especially Cody Garbrandt vs. Dominick Cruz, that fight right there would have to be the best fight of the night, I would say.

Anyway, back to Ronda’s loss last night, she looked pretty pissed and upset after the fight got over with, though. Ronda seemed upset that the referee stopped the fight so soon and she wanted to keep it going. Ronda didn’t stay after the fight to interview with Joe Rogan and she didn’t even give Amanda a handshake or a hug either. Amanda tried to give Ronda a hug but Ronda and her team were quick to leave the Octagon. Amanda got to hug one of Ronda’s staff members, though. Amanda was just trying to give Ronda respect last night but Ronda wasn’t having it.

So looks like it’s gonna be over for Ronda in UFC. She might get forced to retire soon but we’ll wait to see what Dana White says. She’s probably gonna be done ’cause she lost two fights and I think Ronda is getting too worn out. What’s next for Ronda if she does get forced to retire? Well Ronda will probably act in movies full time, she’ll become a full time actress for sure I think. She can also do some stuff with WWE ’cause WWE wants to sign her pretty badly. Not sure if Ronda is gonna go for a full time WWE run or part time, we’ll have to wait and see. Anyway, if Ronda does get signed for WWE, I can see a Charlotte vs. Ronda match happening at the next Wrestlemania for sure ’cause I believe that’s what they want.

I feel bad for Ronda but she have to learn that there will be other women who are better than her in fighting. I think Ronda just realized that last night. I wish Ronda the best in her future.

Ronda Rousey explains what it’s like to have internet haters, her response? She doesn’t respond to any of it…

Ronda Rousey explains in this article what it’s like to have internet haters. Her response is that she doesn’t care and doesn’t respond to any of it. She just uses the internet to put information out there and she just ignores comments from people. In other words, she doesn’t reply to people when she uses twitter or instagram to put stuff up.

Read more here:

That’s cool of Ronda and that’s the way to be. I understand where she’s coming from ’cause I agree with Ronda that most people on the internet are pretty evil and spiteful… knowing from my own experience of dealing with haters & trolls. I’ve dealt with cyberbullies for the past 7 years or more so I know what it’s like. Like I said, having haters & trolls used to bother me and I used to respond to every attack to try and defend myself but over the years, I’ve learned not to do that. You’ve got to learn to be thick skinned and stay above them. Not reply to any of it. In case you haven’t notice, y’all… I don’t reply to negativity. I only respond to positive people. I’ve been like that for a long time now.

Negativity has always been a huge problem on the internet, I hear Ronda… you just gotta learn to be strong and tough. Not reply to any of it. Don’t give negativity any attention.

I’ve dealt with haters myself for the past 7 years or more. I have all kinds of losers who never have anything positive to say about me but that’s okay, I can’t please everybody. I’ve had all kinds of people over the years who tried their best to destroy me but I’m still here and still standing. Still happy and still enjoying life.

Whenever someone wants to reply to me about something, it’s usually something very negative or a personal attack… I usually just delete it and ignore. I’ve also had cyberbullies who tried their best to destroy me by creating anonymous names to start blogs, twitter pages bashing me and stuff. I’ve dealt with this shit for years so I learned to get used to it.

People do this ’cause people are just assholes, that’s all they are. Ronda is right, “people on the internet are evil”. Totally with her on this one. She’s inspiring me even more.

Ronda Rousey to have big pictorial in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue…

Yeah, Ronda Rousey may be a big time liberal and a Bernie Sanders supporter but who cares. I love her anyway! It maybe a day late for “Woman Crush Wednesday” but I think I have a celebrity crush on Ronda. Whether you love her or hate her, you can’t deny she’s fucking hot. Even without the airbrushing and makeup, she’s hot either way.

I usually never get Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues but I’m gonna have to buy this issue when it hits the newsstands.

I think Ronda did this ’cause this is a message to all the haters and she’s telling them all to suck it. I know she gets a lot of critics about her looks, her body, her weight, etc. This is her way of giving her critics the finger. This is her telling people that she’s proud of her body and proud of herself and not caring what anyone else thinks.

Ronda Rousey attends Marine Corps Ball with Marine as promised…

A Marine asked Ronda Rousey out to the Marine Corps Ball. Ronda replied and promised she would come. Ever since then though, the Marine and Ronda hasn’t talked about it since her loss to Holly Holm and the Marine was worried whether or not she would show up. Well, Ronda stayed true to her word and she showed up to the ball.

Ronda looks all healed up already and she’s looking real good too. See the pics here.

This guy is lucky, though. He got to go on a one-off date with somebody famous. This is a night he’s never gonna forget.

I bet Ronda is a real nice and friendly lady. She’s probably fun to hang out with and fun to talk to. She probably did it to help get her mind off her loss and wanted to have some fun, ya know? She wanted to enjoy herself for the evening. This shows that Ronda supports the military.

Ronda Rousey speaks for the first time since lost to Holly Holm…

Will Ronda Rousey come back strong and tough if she gets her rematch against Holly? Even Ronda admits she doesn’t even know if she could do it. She admits that if she loses, she could be done with MMA for good.

Even if Ronda is forced to retire ’cause her body can’t take it anymore, Ronda won’t be going away from the entertainment business anytime soon, though. I think she’ll go on to movies full time and she’ll probably become a full time author too. So she does have a backup plan in case she’s done with UFC.

I’m praying she does get her revenge at Holly, though. Holly is out there in the media and the press celebrating her win, I’m hoping Ronda will wipe that smile off of Holly’s face soon.

Why did Ronda lose to Holly? Is Ronda getting too worn out and overwhelmed by years of judo? That’s probably part of it. Too much training probably got to her, I bet.

Ronda Rousey hiding her face at airport thoughts…

I’m pretty sure that the reason Ronda Rousey hid her face at LAX airport is not because she wanted to hide her beat up face. I’m pretty sure her face would be all swollen and bruised up yes indeed but that’s not the only reason she hid face.

Maybe it’s because she wanted to hide from the haters, ya know? She wanted to simply avoid more humiliation and I’m sure she already suffered humiliation from all the negative crap she got from the media and social networking. I’m sure she would be willing to walk in public without hiding her beaten up face, though. This is her saying, “You won’t treat me with respect then you won’t get to see me”. That kind of thing, ya know.

Can you imagine that if she uncovered her face walking through LAX? Other travelers through LAX would recognize her and they would pick on her some more. So I can’t blame her.

She’s probably gonna stay low from the public for a little while. No interviews with the press or any of that stuff for a while. When she comes back, watch out Holly! You think Ronda’s shit talking toward Holly was bad? Well, Ronda will come after her even worse. She’ll probably challenge a rematch ’cause she’s gonna wanna take that belt back for sure.

Ronda doesn’t mess around, y’all. She’ll do much better on her next fight and will prove the haters wrong once again, trust me on that.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. calls out all of Ronda Rousey’s haters, what he said was pretty awesome!

Floyd Mayweather said of Ronda haters:

“I don’t think it’s cool how everyone is trolling her on social media. Certain things you have to learn. People will love you on Friday and then Sunday morning, it’s nothing but negative comments and people making jokes and people making fun about you, which I don’t think is cool.

I’ve never been on the other side, so I don’t know how it feels. I’m pretty sure she’s a very, very strong person, but we still have to take into consideration that she has feelings. Everything happens for a reason. This was already written. Listen, if God says, ‘In Floyd’s career, I don’t want him to lose,’ you know what? I wasn’t going to lose.

That doesn’t mean that I haven’t took a loss before. I’m not talking about boxing; I’m just talking about life. When you lose a loved one, that’s taking a loss. I think that everything is just a learning experience. In due time, she’ll be able to bounce back and make some noise again in mixed martial arts.”

I’m not the biggest Floyd Mayweather fan like most but what he said here was actually awesome and I agree with him! So what? Ronda Rousey lost! Who cares! Everybody’s making a big deal of it when they can’t understand that whether in boxing or MMA that’s the name of the game. You’re either gonna win or lose. Tons of fighters loses fights and everybody is picking on Ronda ’cause of her loss. Instead of saying, “Oh that sucks, I wish Ronda could do better next time”… instead social media is giving her all kinds of hell.

I totally agree with Floyd that one day you’re loved by everybody and the next day, you’re hated all of a sudden. Floyd is right on that knowing from my own experience of dealing with haters.

Floyd is a man with class here.

Even he agrees that she could be back better than ever she was before.

You want Ronda to be more friendly? Well I got news for ya, peeps. Whether in boxing or MMA, it’s never about making friends. When you get yourself into that sport, the only thing they’re focused on is winning and they don’t care about anything else. When you get yourself into boxing or MMA, you’re gonna make some enemies too. The sports are never gonna be friendly all the time. So if Ronda wants to be mean and be a bitch, she has that right if she wants to so why the double standard? If you want Ronda to be kind to people, try asking Iron Mike Tyson and Brock Lesnar to be friendly? I seriously, dare ya. If you asked those guys to be more friendly, they would laugh and give you the finger.

Ronda Rousey is the Iron Mike Tyson of the women’s division of fighting… agree with it or not…

Back in the days when Iron Mike Tyson and Don King were around professional boxing, they were the biggest shit talkers. I remember reading in Mike Tyson’s book that he inspired it from none other Muhammad Ali, of course. Iron Mike wanted to be like him.

Women’s boxing and women’s MMA has been around for many years. Out of all the women who have competed in professional boxing/fighting you haven’t had much shit talkers in the women’s division. Ronda Rousey is the game changer in that for sure. She is now the Iron Mike Tyson of the women’s division. She’s driving everyone crazy and pissing everyone off which to me is pretty amazing. She’s pissing everyone off in social networking. She’s pissing off other female fighters and other celebrities. Which is actually good. I agree that Ronda is kind of tough and mean but where was the outrage when Brock Lesnar had the similar attitude when he was in UFC? Why the double standard? If everybody is hating on Ronda then she must be doing something right.

What’s for all the hatred? Is it because of her attitude? No. I’m pretty sure there’s a hint of “jealousy” in everybody is the reason for them hating on Ronda. They’re tired of seeing her everywhere and tired of her of being UFC’s big money maker. I repeat, she’s the new Iron Mike Tyson in the women’s division. You know how Mike Tyson was viewed as the Baddest man on the planet? Well Ronda is the baddest woman on the planet. I think everybody knows that shit talking is pretty common in boxing and MMA. I think everyone is hating on Ronda for the shit talking is because simply put, she’s a woman. End of story. They’re intimidated of a woman doing all the shit talking while all the other women in MMA are too nice. As of this point, she’s the only woman in MMA doing all the shit talking.

Like I said, Ronda is the type of woman who doesn’t like to be messed with. WHen she’s mad at someone, it’s pretty likely she has a good reason to and maybe they earned the trash talking. I don’t know how the Ronda and Holly feud started but maybe Holly said something that Ronda didn’t like? It’s always her opponents that start things with Ronda but nobody wants to admit that. Everyone wants to act like that Ronda started it first ’cause she’s a woman and she was a champion (she’s not anymore obviously). You wanna mess with Ronda, she’ll mess with you back. That’s how she’s always been. Now that Ronda no longer has the belt, I’m sure the world would quickly forget about her but she’ll remind everyone who she is once she gets that belt back from Holly (trust me, she will).

Ronda’s the villain of the women’s division which is good for the sport. The female version of Iron Mike. Remember, Iron Mike used to be the most hated boxer back in the day. I remember that. Ronda reminds me of those days. Each time Ronda has a fight with a new opponent, chances are this opponent will have some sort of hatred toward Ronda. Almost all of her opponents do.

Trust me guys… Ronda will not make herself look weak. She’ll prove the haters wrong again in her next fight. Whenever that is and whoever she’ll be fighting next. Whether it’s gonna be Miesha Tate again, Cyborg or Holly. I’d like to see her take on Cyborg, though.

Maybe the reason Ronda is acting like a villain in UFC is ’cause she’s doing it intentionally? Maybe it’s her way of helping the women’s division? It could be her way of boosting the women’s division and trying to help put over other fighters. Her being the villain in MMA can help the women’s division in all MMA companies, not just UFC. Ronda continues to be a game changer in MMA, like it or not.

Read this interesting article about how Ronda being the villain can help the women’s division:
