BREAKING NEWS: Tim Burton helms “The Dark Shadows” movie starring Johnny Depp…

Look like we’re gonna have yet another Tim Burton and Johnny Depp collaboration on our hands folks. Announced today, Tim Burton is confirmed to make the new “Dark Shadows” movie starring Johnny Depp as Barnabus. In this article it says Johnny Depp being confirmed is a rumour at this point and they refuse to confirm it, but we know it’s true ’cause they don’t want to spoil surprises. John August is set to write the script.

Great choice for a director! Lets hope they get Danny Elfman for the score, that would be sweet! Burton would make a really good “Dark Shadows” movie, lets just hope they keep it low budget so it can live up to the old TV series. I hope Burton doesn’t make the film full of CGI. Lets hope he makes it similar to the TV series.

BREAKING NEWS: Huge fire breaks out at Universal Studios Hollywood…

A huge fire is going on at the Universal Studios – Hollywood right now as you are reading this. It already destroyed the “Back to the Future” set and the King Kong exhibit. It also destroyed every videos and reels locked in the vaults with the original work of various movies. But not too worries, they aren’t gone forever ’cause duplicates of those videos and reels are locked away at a different location for protection.

This is very sad news. Hope the fire goes out soon so the entire place won’t be gone. Even if the entire place is destroyed for good, I’m sure they’ll rebuild the company into a whole new level but still a new “Universal Studios” won’t live up to the old one. I hope they put out the fire and hope things get better over there.

Report: Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler says no to movie role, not wanting to show her titties in it…

Stacy Keibler the former WWE Diva recently turned down a movie role titled “Mercy” in which the film makers wanted to expose her breasts in the film. TMZ says the director scrapped the idea at first but the film crew talked him into it. When he finally agreed to do it and asked Stacy Keibler if she waas willing to expose her breasts in the film, she backed out, so she is not going to be in the movie.

For those who don’t remember Stacy Keibler, she was one of the only Divas in the WWE who didn’t have breast implants. She is known as a very tall and petite woman. She has always been one of my favorite Divas when she used to be in WWE.

Report: Heath Ledger’s family coming to “The Dark Knight” premiere in New York!!!

Warner Bros. studios had confirmed that Heath Ledger’s family members are travelling from Australia to New York City to see “The Dark Knight” at the world premiere which opens July 18th.

It’s been said for a long time that Heath Ledger as the Joker is supposed to be the darkest and most intense movie performance of all times than any film ever.

The Oscars for 2009 better nominate Heath Ledger for Best Actor In a Leading Role for “The Dark Knight”. Even though I haven’t seen the movie yet, seeing the trailers, I get goosebumps seeing Heath as the Joker.

I can’t wait to see “The Dark Knight” and I’m itching to see the film NOW! Can July 18th be any longer?

Thought: “Sex and the City” could top “Indy 4” after all?

Maybe “Sex and the City” does have a chance in topping “Indy 4” in the box office ’cause it’s making big money fast. I mean, when I went to see “Indy 4” again yesterday, the theaters were packed, people weren’t there to see “Indy 4” again, they were all there to to see “Sex and the City” probably. People think “Sex and the City” is a TV show for women, but not really. Men loved the TV show too, I think that’s the TV shows goal was to attract male fans but the chicks happen to get into it. I used to watch the show all the time when it was on HBO but like I said before, I’m waiting for DVD rental on this one.

We’ll see how the box office does in close out tomorrow afternoon.

Thought: “The Strangers” getting strong reviews all over the internet…

Starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, “The Strangers” a new horror film based on real events is getting strong and positive reviews by critics all over the web. The more I read about it the more it makes me want to see this film in theater next. I would have seen “The Strangers” today but I winded up seeing Indy again instead. Everyone is saying “The Strangers” is actually a very scary and creepy film, probably the scariest horror film made in a long time. I hope they’re right. Most horror films are popcorn flicks that aren’t scary but fun. But this film here is actually a serious one and supposed to be scary. I’m gonna have to check out “The Strangers” before it stops playing.

Thought: Back from seeing “Indy and the Crystal Skull” for the second time!!!!

Yep, you heard that right, I just got back from the mall from seeing “Indiana Jones 4” this afternoon. I loved it even more than the first time I saw it. I learned a lot more things about the film the second time I’ve seen it. Those who don’t like the film or think it was ok, go see it again and again, I’m sure it’ll grow on you and it’s an original film with a different story. I like the storytelling in Indy 4.

I didn’t buy any new videogames today ’cause I gotta stop buying them for a while after I beat GTA 4 and several other games I haven’t beaten yet.

So instead I picked up a few movies on DVD and a few music CD’s. I picked up the new Rambo 2 disc DVD (I didn’t get the Blu Ray, I went for the DVD instead), and I also picked up the movie “I’m Not There” (the Bob Dylan biopic starring a bunch of different stars, Heath Ledger, Cate Blanchett, etc.). For music CD’s I picked up Mason Jennings new disc “In the Ever” and Scarlett Johansson’s “Anywhere I Lay My Head”.

I will reveiw all those soon.

Report: Donnie Darko sequel signs two more actresses….

The sequel to the film “Donnie Darko” which is titled “S. Darko” has signed two more actresses to the film. Elizabeth Berkley who is famed for “Saved by the Bell” TV show and the movie “Striptease”, and Briana Evigan has been signed to the film.

Directed by Chris Fisher, the film has begun production in Utah. The film is set seven years after the first one with Samantha (Donnie Darko’s sister played by the same actress from the first one), who is dealing with her family, leaves with her best friend and is haunted by bizzare visions similar from the first one.

I wonder what Jake Gyllenhaal himself feels about the sequel. I wonder if he will see it himself or not. We’ll have to wait and find out.

The first film is what made Gyllenhaal a well known star. Hope the sequel won’t suck.

Thought: Will I go see “Sex and the City” film?

The wait is over. HBO’s longtime hit TV show made into a major motion picture is finally here. I am going to the mall this afternoon to see a flick but will I see this? Believe it or not, I was a fan of “Sex and the City” TV show when it used to be on HBO long ago but I don’t know if I will see the film or not. I’ve been seeing clips and previews of the film online, but for some reason I can’t seem to get an interest in the film. While I loved the TV show, the movie however is kind of questioning. I’m probably gonna end up waiting for DVD on this one.

“Sex and the City” will be a successful movie sure but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna be good. Could this film top “Iron Man”, “Prince Caspian” and “Indy” in the box office this weekend? “Sex and the City” will do well, but it definitely won’t top “Indy”. Just a prediction.

I think I would rather see “Indy and the Crystal Skull” again today instead.

Edit to add: Or I might check out that new horror film “The Strangers” instead, “The Strangers” that stars Liv Tyler, it sounds like an interesting flick.
