The Playstation 3 has been out for a few years now, so you wonder why there hasn’t been a Batman action/adventure videogame out yet? Well your wish just came true Batman fans!!! There is a brand new Batman game coming out soon (release date yet to be known) and you can see the trailer for it here:

The game is being released for the PS3, Xbox360 and CDROM. I predict the game will get released either at the end of 2009 or early 2010. The game looks fucking sweet too!

Finally, you get to play Batman the caped crusader to fight against his enemy, the Joker. This is another game I’m looking forward to getting.

Cool Video: “Ghostbusters – The Video Game” trailer is here!!!

Atari is releasing “Ghostbusters – The Video Game” and they already released the trailer!!! The game is coming out in June of 2009 for all video game systems. The trailer has the actual voice overs of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson.

Lets just hope that the game has a lot more action more than the storyline cut scenes. Lets also hope that the game will be difficult and challenging.

I’m so am looking forward to this game. I’m definitely picking it up for the PS3 when it comes out.

Thought: “The Bourne Conspiracy” rocks!!!!!

I’ve been playing “The Bourne Conspiracy” the last couple of days and I’m already getting into it, being addicted and playing a lot of hours of the game. Getting pretty far in it, in the difficult level. The game has “action” throughout most of the game, with very little storyline segments in between. The game is great though. The action in “The Bourne Conspiracy” is great, it’s a mix of a first person shooter and a fighting game all in one. The Bourne game is just like the movie. Except Matt Damon doesn’t do the voice overs for the Jason Bourne character, some other guy does. Still a badass game though and so much fun to play. If you know anybody in your family or friends that has a Ps3 or Xbox360, I reccomend you get this game for them, it would make a great Holiday gift.

I’ve had my Ps3 for several months and so far, I’ve been impressed with the games I’ve bought with it. I’ll only buy a video game only if it has strong and positive reviews, and getting a huge buzz in the media. Video games are real expensive and I want to make sure that every video game I buy is a really good one.

If I buy a video game I don’t like, I’ll just trade it in at Babbages in the Wilton Mall, ’cause they buy and sell used games there. So far so good, I haven’t bought a video game I didn’t like.

Finally beat Metal Gear Solid 4!!!!!

Tonight, I just beat Metal Gear Solid 4 “Guns of the Patriots”. The ending wasn’t that hard to beat either. Earlier tonight I had to beat one of the final bosses, a boss called the Screaming Mantis. It took me a while to figure out how to beat the Screaming Mantis and it wasn’t too hard, I beat her with no problems at all. After beating Screaming Mantis, I had to put up with a few long storyline scenes before getting to the final boss, to fight Liquid Ocelot. You fight Liquid Ocelot with your bare hands, punching and kicking, like a wrestling match type of thing, you don’t use weapons on the last boss. Liquid Ocelot was easy to beat.

After you beat Liquid the last boss, you have to sit through long storyline segments to complete the ending. The ending of the game was very good and very touching. The reason the game has more storylines than the action is that this game is meant to be for the storyline. “Metal Gear Solid 4” made you feel like you were watching a movie on the big screen. Beautiful game though, one of the best games I’ve played in years. Now it really makes me want to buy a Playstation 2 so I can play the earlier Metal Gear Solid games.

This game took me forever to beat, very long game. Glad I finally beat the game, now I can move on to a different game. Next game I plan on playing next is “The Bourne Conspiracy”, I’ll start the Jason Bourne game tomorrow.

Just about done with Metal Gear Solid 4…

So last night when I was playing Metal Gear Solid 4, I finally beat the level “Outer Haven – Ship Bow”. The mission is, Snake is on a huge enemy ship. At the starting point, you have to reach toward the other side of the ship without being seen by enemies. It was tough for me to get to other side of the ship, it took me a long while to figure out how to do it without being caught by enemies. If you get caught or get seen by an enemy called a Frog, where it’s these women that dress up in sniper equipment, you’ve got to battle a bunch of them to survive.

That’s the point of the Metal Gear Solid series, you play a character name Snake and on the map, they give you a location where you need to go, and you need to get to that certain spot on the map without being caught by enemies. There are all kinds of different enemies throughout the game. And that’s what makes this game so addicting and fun.

I’ve got just a few more missions in the game to get through, then I have to fight the final boss, and then I’m done. It is a sick game though, I think I love it more than “Grand Theft Auto IV”. I should have Metal Gear Solid 4 beat next week or maybe even this weekend if I can.

Report: World of Warcraft’s new game “Wrath of the Lich King” breaks records in sales in the PC-CDROM industry…

PC-CDROM games are no longer popular anymore as they once were but the “World of Warcraft” games are still going strong in sales. While the game only costs around $40 in video game stores everywhere, the new game “Wrath of the Lich King” expansion pack has made a whopping $100 million or more at more than 2.8 million units. “World of Warcraft” is the most popular PC-CDROM game franchise, the series been around for years.

Variety Reports:

I used to play PC-CDROM games all the time when I was younger, but since CDROM games are no longer popular, it’s what made me go to the PS3 instead.

“World of Warcraft” games are fun though, I played the older “Warcraft” games before.

I’d love to play this new one but my computer is not that big enough to play videogames and all. I’ll just wait for it to come out for the PS3 if they release it for that system.

Report: First look at “Prince of Persia” live action film starring Jake Gyllenhaal…

So you’ve seen photos online of Jake Gyllenhaal, shirtless, long haired, not so clean shaven, also looking bulked up, fit and muscular. Gyllenhaal himself speaks on his new look for the film, like the film makers want Gyllenhaal to look exactly like the character from the video game. He says he had to do a lot of acrobatics, working out and training because the character he plays requires a lot of that.

Click here for a Behind the Scenes video of “Prince of Persia” live action movie, and interview with Gyllenhaal himself, taken from Entertainment Tonight:

More on it here:

Film is looking real good so far. Jake is looking good too since this is the first time we’ve seen him publicily since Heath Ledger’s death. Looking forward to this new film!

I officially want to buy a Playstation 2!!!

Yep, I now really want to buy a Playstation 2 sometime down the road. I’m still saving up for my 32 ” Flat screen plasma TV with HD, but after I buy a new TV then I will buy a PS2.

The only reason I am soon to be buying an old Playstation 2 system is so that I can play the earlier Metal Gear Solid games, the earlier Devil May Cry games (before I buy the 4th one), the earlier God Of War series, the earlier Tomb Raider games and the earlier Grand Theft Auto series.

Last Monday, when I was at the mall, I was browsing the Playstaion 2 games at Babbages in the Wilton Mall,  and they have all those games I listed above for the PS2.

A PS2 system is very cheap these days. I can easily get a used PS2 system for about $80.00 at Babbages also. After I buy a new TV, then I will definitely buy a PS2 system.

The reason I’m doing this is because I have a 40 GB PS3 system and that thing don’t allow you to play PS2 games but it allows you to play PS1 games. I want to play the earlier games of those series I listed above so I can keep up with the storylines of those games to see what I missed. Now that you think about it. I think this is why game companies release the latest sequels for the Ps3 only so people can buy a Ps2 for the earlier games, it’s just their way of getting more money from their gamers.

Almost done with “Metal Gear Solid 4″…

I’m almost done with Metal Gear Solid 4, I’ve been playing it most of the day yesterday on Sunday and now I’m just starting the last act, I’m on Act 5 “Old Sun” which is the final level of the game. I’ve just got to beat through that level and then I have to fight the final boss, the Big Boss. Then I am done.

The game is hands down amazing though. Incredible graphics, good acting by the voices of the characters and incredible story. The game is very long though and it has more cut scene storylines more than the action. The game is so much fun, it is challenging and difficult.

My favorite thing about the game is toward the end of Act 4, Solid Snake sleeps on a plane and goes into a dream sequence where you get to play the original “Metal Gear” game made in 1987 for MSX2 computer that was made back into those days. In the original “Metal Gear” 1987 game, the graphics aren’t so high tech of course but still fun.

After playing this game Metal Gear Solid 4, this really makes me want to buy a Playstation 2 so I can play the rest of the Metal Gear Solid games. A Playstation 2 would only cost $100 so I can get one easily. You can’t play Playstation 2 games on a 40 GB PS3, but you can play PS1 games on it though.

I hear there is a Metal Gear Solid live action movie in the works which is good. All I heard is that Kurt Wimmer is confirmed to direct the Metal Gear Solid live action film, that’s all. No casting has been made, but rumour has it, I’ve heard that Christian Bale will play Solid Snake doing google research. I can easily see Ian McKellen playing the main villain Liquid Ocelot. The Metal Gear Solid movies would be great if made right.

The Metal Gear video games has intense storytelling, lots of cool characters, and monsters, cool action and good fighting, they would make great live action movies.

What game will I play next after I beat this one? I’ll probably move on to “The Bourne Cospiracy” ’cause I’ve never played that one yet. I could move on to “Dead Space” next, but I want to try beating some of these other games I haven’t played yet first.
