I’ve always admired Danny Devito as an actor, director and one funny ass, comedian. He’s a great guy who treated his career in a positive note. He had a very successful career and he finally gets the respect he deserves. Danny Devito finally gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
He has done it all in the movie business. He doesn’t just do comedy, he can also do a serious drama role and he’s even starred in several action movies.
Some of my favorite films he have starred in are: “Throw Momma From the Train”, “Twins”, “The War of the Roses”, “Batman: Returns”, “Hoffa”, “L.A. Confidential”, “The Virgin Suicides”, “Man on the Moon”, “Heist”, “Death To Smoochy”, and I even enjoyed “Matilda” even though he directed that film and not star.
Danny is one talented man and this is well deserved. Congrats Danny!
Like I said, I’ll be visiting Los Angeles to visit family at the end of Oct. So I will probably check out the Walk of Fame. Of course, I will bring my video camera and document my Hollywood vacation. Can’t wait.
Governor Schwarzenegger has been keeping himself busy in politics in California lately. Signing all these new bills, and making new laws in Cali. He’s been doing everything from honoring Harvey Milk, being honored to Parkland, signs a new solar energy bill, vetoing the puppy mill, signing a new DUI law, etc.
His latest is signing a bill against the paparazzi’s in Hollywood. Making it easier for celebs to sue against media and making it harder for paps to shoot pics of celebs without their consent.
Obviously, Arnold was a huge movie star before his political career, so he knows what it’s like to be stalked by the paps and knows what it’s like being in the tabloids. I know how much Arnold hates the paps, you think he’s doing it for himself and his family, but I don’t think so. Arnold still supports Hollywood and his fellow film actors, so he wants to help all celebs. I had a feeling Arnold would make a law like this against the paps.
Celebs are human beings too and they deserve their privacy. So this is one thing Arnold did that I actually agree with. It’s about time!
MJ’s memorial and public funeral at Neverland, Friday. This could get aired live on TV, every single channel. Santa Barbara, Cali is going to be a packed madhouse. Nobody ever said Friday’s Memorial will be aired live on TV or not, but I think it definitely will.
Somehow I think they are doing this for material for MJ’s Hollywood biopic film for an emotional ending.
MJ’s casket will probably be surrounded by a lot of cops and possibly the US Army too, so MJ’s body can be protected from thieves. So to those who live in Cali, I know a few people who live out there, avoid the Santa Barbara traffic on Thursday/Friday if you can.
TMZ will probably be showing the whole thing as well on their live cams. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Jackson family will do the memorial Friday. Looking forward to seeing it.
Well, California did it today. The gays fought for a longtime for gay marriage in that state, and they got what they wanted. Governor Ah-nuld still doesn’t approve it and his opinion on gay marriage still remains the same but he respects the courts decision.
