Attention to all indie labels out there! THE HELL WITH MYSPACE! They wouldn’t go for it. Myspace is all about “marketing” myspace, that’s all they care about so they can add more dollars to Rupert Murdoch’s fucking empire. That Murdoch douchebag is such a cash cow ’cause money is all he cares about and that’s all he wants from myspace is more cash.

Boycott MYSPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RANT: Seriously, the new “myspace music” blows!!!!

*sigh*

Can myspace music get any fucking worse? What the hell!!!!!!!!!!

The new player they just launched today is awful!!! I liked the old player better. And now myspace has got fucking advertisements popping up to direct you to listen to a random band when you want to listen to music in myspace? BULLSHIT!!!!

Unsigned bands and indie artists, here’s some words of advice and my 2cents. Cancel your account and leave that damn site like I did. There are other great sites on the internet to promote your music on. Myspace is going down the drain. Of course, unsigned and indie artists/bands won’t take that advice, they’ll be obsessed with myspace ’til the day they die. They all think myspace is such a great “promoting” and “marketing” site, when they fail to realize the real truth that it don’t do shit with your music. Time to get a reality check and get why myspace is making all these new changes. BLAH!!!!!!!

Myspace music launch thoughts….

Yep, so myspace launched “Myspace music” today where 4 different major labels team up with myspace to compete with Itunes.

So this means that the music industry is officially dead, and so is myspace. All dead. Myspace music will not help get more myspace users so they can try to top facebook again. All “Myspace music” is gonna do is turn off more users to leave the site and I’ll have a post about this in the future to explain why myspace gets worse and worse everytime.

The hell with myspace. This is just another ploy to feed Rupert Murdoch more cash into his empire.

I don’t understand why so many unsigned and indie bands support that site so much when they know deep down inside that site is completely useless for music promotion.

I’ll have another post on this soon.

Report: Oh my, even more people are getting turned off of myspace and now facebook is taking over the world!!!!!!

Well, Rupert Murdoch, it looks like you failed myspace because “facebook” is beating myspace down!!!! The only reason facebook has gotten more popular in the mainstream now is because myspace is such a horrible site! Gee, I wonder why a lot more people are cancelling their myspace accounts and going to facebook instead.

Re-read my older blogs I’ve said about myspace in the past, they are all part of the reason. Also phishing, accounts getting hacked, lots of advertisements, people getting frustrated with shitty bands sending them e-mails about shows and their music, lots of crazy people who are delusional and drama queens in myspace who all they mostly talk about is getting wasted and partying, the amounts of celebrity pages and band sites taking over myspace when it is supposed to be a “friends” site, people are finding myspace too addictive so they go to facebook so they can get less addicted, having so many friends is too hectic for people, etc. Need I go on?

More on it here:

http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2008/08/14/facebook-social.html

Facebook is planning to turn into a music site too similar to myspace but I will make a music account in facebook soon if I ever get around to figuring that stuff out. I think facebook is a much better site and easier to use than myspace.

Report: Rupert Murdoch pissed off at Facebook getting more popular than myspace…

Well folks, look like I am not alone on how myspace sucks so bad. America is finally starting to realize how bad the site truly is!!! People are starting to go to Facebook now! For the first time ever in history of the world wide web, Facebook’s popularity has risen over myspace!!!!! YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!

More on it here:

http://www.pcpro.co.uk/news/207876/murdoch-fumes-as-facebook-overtakes-myspace.html

Awwwwww, poor Murdoch! Coochie coochie coo. Cat got your tongue!  Get over it, pal!

It’s a fact that your site called myspace is pure crap and people are starting to finally realize it.

Expect to lose more people, Murdoch because of the launch of the new look which a lot of people are hating on. Not everyone has broadband internet and not everyone have good computers and it takes a long time for some people to log into myspace because of the front page advertisements with videos. This is probably the reason some people are moving to facebook.

Fuck myspace. Fuck it. Facebook is the way to go! I think I’m definitely making a facebook music account and I can run my own music page at facebook instead of fucking myspace! It looks better and much easier to use than myspace. The world is quickly losing interest in myspace and it’s nice to see Murdoch finally know that!

Report: The truth about the new myspace look…

Want to know the real truth behind the myspace look? Just the other day myspace just redesigned the whole site, and to be honest, I’m hating it. The more myspace continues to change the site around to make it look impressive the more I despise the site. So back to the question, why the new look?

Vince McMahon impersonation… “It’s all about, the Moooneeeeyyyyyy…”. Yep, that’s it. It’s all about the money. That one word. Myspace is about advertising so Rupert Murdoch and News Corp can make more cash.

More on it here:

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/2008/06/myspace-aims-fo.html

They don’t care about people. They don’t care about you. All they care about is pulling more people in because do you realize that every myspace page in that site is connected to advertisements so News Corp can get more dollars thrown in? It’s true, do your research on myspace and see for yourself. While myspace is a free networking site, how News Corp makes their money is the users using the site and they get paid from the advertisements. This is why Rupert Murdoch bought myspace 3 years ago, because he is a greedy cash cow.

While I do have a personal myspace account still, I keep it so I can keep in touch with my true friends and my brother who lives across the states, but I have news for ya people. I barely ever touch my personal myspace account, maybe I log in once everyday for a few minutes that’s about it, but I’m never in myspace for hours like I used to when I used to have my music account.

Like I said, all myspace cares about is marketing the site so News Corp can make more money from advertisemtns. In my opinion, “myspace” is not a cool site that you all think it is. It is horrible. That what’s myspace wants is for people to be addicted to the site, they add all of these cool new sites (like karoake, applications, etc.) in myspace and extra features to keep people in there. They want people’s lives to be devoted to “myspace”.

Myspace wants to take over the world and it officially did just that. Seems like all people think about is myspace. Myspace myspace myspace, it’s all about myspace. This is why I’m soon going to be turning my blog into my new official site hopefully this summer because I want nothing to do with myspace. Myspace continues to disgrace itself, Tom made the biggest mistake in his life by letting News Corp buy the site off of him.

The reason for the new site design is that myspace just realized that people are losing interest in the site. Don’t be addicted to myspace ’cause you’re doing nothing but supporting Rupert Murdoch and News Corp which you don’t realize you are doing. There are better things to do and more to life than just myspace.

Thought: Myspace is full of anonymous fakes…ways to tell that the profile is not real…

So are you the type of myspace user that is willing to add anything that sends you an add request? Are you the type of myspace user that adds people you don’t even know? Or did you come across a myspace fake anonymous just to cyberbully you?

Here are easy ways to tell if the myspace account is anonymous and fake. Many people in myspace aren’t really who they are. When I had my music account up, I came across a lot of fakes so I know this with experience. It’s easy to tell that if a person in myspace is a fake.

Here is a step by step:

  • Their pictures in the photo galleries may look like the same person but if you look closely at each photo you can see that the photos is a different person, example, the face is not quite the same and the hair color of the person is a little different each photo. It’s just their way of trying to make the anonymous page look like a real person.
  • The myspace user uses a default picture that is not of themselves, just some random google images or photoshop work they did themselves.
  • You think you’re making friends with the user, they refuse to give out who they really are, they refuse to give their phone number or where they really live.
  • You want to meet the user in person to hang out like friends, they tell you where to meet, and surprise, they never show.
  • You don’t hear from the user much and rarely see it logging in often…it’s because they are too busy using their own “real” myspace account, switching back and forth to their real one and their anonymous one.
  • In the information they write about like in the “About Me” stuff, they write silly and humorous things that a real person wouldn’t write about themselves, for example they write stuff like, “I’m fat and hairy, Richard Simmons is my hero” and stuff like that. They mainly write nasty and obscene things in the “General Interests”, and “About Me” stuff just to press your buttons.
  • In the comments section, you never see real people interacting with the myspace fake user, it’s mostly either advertisements and myspace hacked accounts posting stuff, for example, you never see the fake users friends calling them by the real name and just posting ads in the comments. Mostly hacked faked accounts. If there were real people in there, they would just be making fun of you.

And there you go. I can completely understand why people with myspace accounts only add people they know ’cause they don’t want to run into fakes. Myspace is a whole world of fake people.

Nothing wrong with adding strangers and trying to make friends with people you don’t know in myspace, but you gotta be careful. Just make sure they are truly a real person and make sure you can trust him or her long enough first.

Thought: Myspace clarification…

Btw, I have nothing against the “friends” personal profile part of myspace, I have nothing against that part to be honest because that’s what myspace was once was before a “friends” place to hang out. Now myspace has turned into a music site. What I am against in myspace is the music part of it. That is what’s bothering me about myspace, the music bands/artists section. I lost my respect in interacting with some of the other musicians in myspace. Some of them promised to get me on some shows of theirs, but of course they never happen and I explain more reasons, I’m just trying to keep a long story short.

It’s not an opinion and should be no surprise to you that the internet has officially taken over the music industry. People has been using the net for music, instead of buying CD’s at the stores these days. It’s getting very rare that you ever see people buying CD’s much anymore because of the online world. Itunes, myspace, etc. Buying albums from the record stores is pretty much dead. People with Ipods and mp3 players and shit like that. It’s why you constantly see crappy music high in the Billboard charts.

With my own music, I plan on doing something different. I want to find some type of html mp3 player to embed into this blog where I can play my songs while you are reading this blog. If I can find something like that, I’ll put up a jukebox player up here on the blog. I plan on turning my blog into my official website. Maybe have a new domain name that’s much cheaper. That is my plan. It is another reason why I got rid of my old official website because I plan on turning this wordpress blog into a new one. That way it can be a music website and a regular blog both at the same time. I’m gonna look into doing that. Soon if I can ever learn how to do that and I’m researching it.

Since my blog gets a lot of hits everyday (at least 1,000 hits a day), I figure uploading my songs here into a player would be a cool thing.

Thought: Feeling much happier and better without myspace…

It’s been a few days since I dumped myspace music last Friday morning. Since then I have been feeling better and happier without it. Myspace is not good for your music at all, and those that think it is, are delusional than I thought. You know deep down inside that I’m right and telling the truth. Why obsess with myspace? There is nothing important about it to your music.

The reason all them unsigned artists/bands run their own accounts is because they are not famous. The famous musicians in a major label that do have “official” accounts do not run their own myspace. Because they are too famous enough to be in that website. Famous people don’t have time for the internet, they are too busy with their own careers. Famous musicians do use the internet like we all do, sure, but it’s very rarely they go online to surf the net, only when they are taking a break.

The truth is unsigned bands/artists who have their myspaces are people with no lives. Most of them pretend to be popular on that site, by adding everything randomly as they can. Most of them accounts in bands friendslists are not even their true fans, people who do not even associate with their music at all. People who just added the band for another friends count. Bands wasting time adding everything like adding other bands/artists randomly, adding supermodel women, celebrities, etc. Why do you think a lot of bands have at least 20,000 friends? People barely adds them the truth be told, they just waste a lot of time adding everything they can. Bands who are not really popular here in this area who pretend to be online (I know quite of few bands and artists in this area, I’m not naming names, who are not popular at all but they pretend to be in myspace), this is why I call some Capital District bands/artists fakes and posers, not naming names. It’s not just with Capital District music, it’s the same with all bands in myspace, pretending they’re popular in myspace when they really get “jack squat” for crowds at their live shows.

In my myspace music account, I liked to keep a low profile. I don’t go around adding everything I can ’cause it’s a waste of time plus, I wanted to see if some people out there truly enjoy my music for real that way and it does work. I’ve had come across some people in myspace that were true fans of my tunes. The thing with your music, you want to see if people out there truly love your tunes, not distract it by pretending that you’re popular.

There are other websites where I can promote my songs where people can listen and enjoy, I’ll find something has nothing to do with myspace. Any website that where you don’t go adding friends, or waiting for your e-mails to be read and replied, and stupid bullshit like that. Any website where you don’t go looking through everyone’s profile and keeping in touch with everyone.

I’ve always thought about launching a “protest” website to start a war against myspace of how that site is damaging the music industry but there’s gotta be enough myspace haters to do something like that though, so I’m not going to do that. There’s nothing slanderous or libelous for having an opinion on something. But don’t worry, one day down the road, the bands in myspace are going to realize that I’m right and they’ll leave the site to start the war on their own.

Myspace is not important. All it is just a little toy, just a play thing for people to drool over. I’ll keep my personal account and will use that but I won’t add anything randomly, I’ll only add people that I know, the true friends that want to keep in touch with me, and the local bands that I know well that I’ve seen at the shows. I’ll keep my personal profile at a low friends count, lower than a 100 friends. I won’t be in my myspace personal profile much though, I never have been in my personal page much and will remain the same. Myspace will keep adding more features just to keep people addicted, just to keep people on the site.

I will never go back there for music ever again. People can live their lives without myspace and they can live their lives without me there. I’ll be on other places on the net where my followers can drool over like my blog and stuff like that. You won’t miss me.
