Report: Dave Batista admits to not liking the PG rating in WWE…

Last year, Dave Batista left the WWE to try and pursue a career in Strikeforce. Since Dana White and Zuffa, LLC. purchased, “Strikeforce”, this forced Dave’s MMA dream to come to an end. What’s next for Dave in his professional career? Since he’s no longer doing “Strikeforce”, he said on twitter that he definitely plans on returning to the WWE in the near future. He said not at this moment. He is just taking some time off, to enjoy life for himself.

He also had something to say about the current PG direction that the WWE is going to. He says he loves the WWE, he just hates the PG thing like most of us. Here are some of Dave’s twitter rants (they’ve been creating controversy in the wrestling world)…Dave admitted he left the WWE because he didn’t like the PG rating.

“I’m the biggest wrestling fan there is..which is why I’m boycotting the PG BS! They’re selling watered down art bro. Kills me. real quick…i don’t hate the WWE! i love pro wrestling! just didn’t agree with the PG direction. i loved it edgy and hardcore. and i would definitely like to return…just not right now. im enjoying the hell out of my normal life. hope that makes sense. even though i dont agree with the direction they”ve taken, I bleed WWE. keep getting asked about a possible TNA run….and the answer is absolutely not. nothing against TNA. they”ve got some great talent. buwhich is why i’ve decided to sit it out rather than accept very generous offers from other promotions. hope everyone can respect that.”

I’m with Dave. I don’t like the PG thing too. I want the Attitude Era back. I miss the good old days of WWE when it was nothing but blood, graphic violence and sexy women that showed a lot of skin. We don’t have that anymore.

Even though I don’t care for the PG rating either, I continue to watch RAW because I still respect some of the performers. Plus there’s nothing else better to do on a Monday night. I’ll never forget the Mankind/Cactus Jack days. Those were the best days of WWE. Mick Foley made the Attitude Era for what it is.

Report: WWE not going back to TV-14 anytime soon, folks, sorry!

During the Linda McMahon and Blumenthal election in Conn., the WWE has gotten many complaints from die hard fans that they are not liking the PG rating and fans wants WWE to go back to the TV-14 era. Fans want WWE to go back to bloody violence, sexy divas and swearing/bad language in WWE like in the Attitude Era days. The WWE doesn’t plan to go back to that anytime soon.

Why? Not only that John Cena helps sells a lot of merchandise and he is popular with kids, since WWE teamed up with Mattel last year, they had no choice but to go to PG rating. Mattel toys are selling so well. So it’s a business decision, it really has nothing to do with John Cena, it’s all about Mattel.

More on it, here.

Oh well, if people don’t like the PG rating with WWE, they can always watch TNA. TNA wrestling has all the bloody violence and sexy women that WWE once had. I’ll admit it, that I do miss the TV-14 rating in WWE myself.

Cool Video: The Kayfabe Killers protest against WWE’s PG rating…

There are these two young guys who started this controversial youtube page, that is becoming a hit in the wrestling world. They like to make parodies of WWE, making fun of the companies PG rating and how WWE is destroying the business with it. While their youtube channel is made for all in good laughs and fun, the page is real serious in a way too. As their goal is protesting the WWE PG rating. Their channel is quickly catching the attention of the wrestling community.

Enjoy these videos. These guys do a great job, I’m impressed. Oh, for those who don’t understand what the word, “kayfabe” means, it’s a wrestling term, meaning that real things can happen in wrestling that is not scripted. For example, the controversial Bret Hart Montreal screwjob, that was real, aka “kayfabe”. Other examples of wrestling kayfabe is the Hulk Hogan vs. Macho Man feud over this Miss Elizabeth storyline was inspired by real life events between them. The Vince McMahon steroid trial. The Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair off TV public feud. The Undertaker getting burned for real on a ppv event. See, not all wrestling is fake, sometimes some of this stuff can be real which ends up in kayfabe.
