Disney plus, quick thoughts…

So earlier today, I decided to take a quick look around “Disney Plus” streaming service since I’m now a subscriber. It’s pretty nice but as expected there’s a lot of kids stuff on there… well it’s Disney so you’ll have to expect it. I’m sure Disney are trying to make their streaming service to attract adult viewers which is why all of Star Wars are on there and why they’re starting to add Marvel movies on there too and it’s why they got “National Geographic” on there.

Anyhow, only reason I got Disney plus was for “The Mandolorian” show pretty much since I’ve been wanting to watch that show for a long while myself and I will start that show real soon. I also wanted to get it ’cause of the upcoming “Loki” show which I can’t wait for. “Loki” is a Marvel show that will be about that villain Loki played by Tom  Hiddleston. I’m a huge fan of that “Loki” character too and can’t wait to watch the first season whenever they put it out.

Since I’m a huge Toy Story fan, I’ll get to re-watch the first three movies and watch the 4th on there since I haven’t seen the 4th one yet. I’m also planning to watch the first “Frozen” movie on there too.

What’s really cool about this streaming service is that it even has Vintage Disney like the old Mickey Mouse Club show and classic Disney cartoons from years ago. I like the old black and white Mickey Mouse cartoons, remember that stuff? All that is on there too.

It has content on there for people of all ages.

The only downside about Disney Plus is that it doesn’t have Indiana Jones on there yet. If you want to watch the four Indiana Jones movies, you’ll have to go to Netflix for that one ’cause the Indy movies are over there. They’ll get Indy on Disney Plus soon, though,  I’m sure. When that happens that means the 4 Indy films on Netflix will get taken off. Remember, Disney owns Lucasfilm now.

Disney Plus is pretty cool, I guess but I’m sure Disney will try to improve it in the future. It’s a keeper.

Cool Video: Pixar joins the “It Gets Better” campaign…

Disney’s Pixar, the people who brought us films such as “Toy Story”, “Monsters Inc.”, “Cars”, “Wall-E”, “Up”, etc. joins the “It Gets Better” campaign by posting a video of their own in youtube. “It Gets Better” is a campaign to help fight bullying against the gay & lesbian community. In reality, “It Gets Better” can be for everybody, not just homosexuals.

I’m not gay but I respect the hell out of them. I’ve known some people that were gay in the past. I’ve also shared gigs with other solo musicians around the area that were gay, so I have nothing against gay people at all.

Speaking of bullying, yes, I was bullied when I was in high school. I’ve never gotten into any fights, but I’ve had other kids in school hit me before. I didn’t have what it took to defend myself and never fought back. As I got older and was out of high school, I still got bullied by other people here and there, but I learned to stay strong and I learned to never let it get to me. All of this bullying stuff is what got me interested in bodybuilding and fitness. I thought to myself, “Hmmmm, if I get ripped one day, maybe people will never be mean to me again?” I never got into fitness when I was a kid because of my past major surgeries that kept me away from it. So now that I’m good and healthy, I am able to get into fitness and do anything I want now. So here I am, trying to make my dreams of becoming a tough guy of my own.

My advice to those out there who are an easy target of being bullied by other people, get into fitness and bulk up. You don’t need to challenge a fight with them because of your ripped body like I said, violence is never the answer, but you being ripped will help bullies think twice before they say something mean to you. They’ll leave you alone, when they notice your physique. Never use physical violence, unless they hit you first. It is okay to fight back for self defense. Yep, this is the big part of why I’m getting into fitness ’cause of the way I was treated by other students in high school.

This method seems to be working in fact. Ever since I started putting up my fitness progress publicly, I haven’t even seen one thing that is said about me in a negative way. If you had a tough life, growing up, it does get better. I got good things going. I became a musician, a bodybuilder, an entertainment blogger, I work day jobs and just enjoying life. I hope to get married and raise a family one day, but I’m in no rush for that, just taking my time for the relationship, and wait for the right woman to come along. People may think I can’t get a woman, but no matter what you think or say, there is someone for everyone out there. Other than that, I’m just happy, playing music, working out in the gym, and just posting in the blog. These things keep me happy.

Enjoy this inspiring video. It’s great.

Thought: How “Wall-E” is going to get the nomination for BEST PICTURE at the Oscars…

Don’t think “Wall-E” will ever get the nomination for “Best Picture” at the Oscars? John Lassetter who serves as governor of the Academy’s animation branch, says it’s very possible, it could get the nomination.

See why here:

And Wall-E is up there in the top contenders:

Animated films deserve a chance at getting more than just a small “Best Animation Award”, the Academy is looking to change that.

I don’t think Wall-E is Oscar worthy enough to win “Best Picture” but it certainly deserves the nomination for sure.

Thought: “Wall-E” is amazing but not worthy enough for “Best Picture” for the Oscars…

I finally saw, “Wall-E” last night and here is just a brief review. I loved it, I thought it was wonderful, great and entertaining, but I don’t find it worthy enough for a “Best Picture” win at the Oscars. It does deserve the nomination for “Best Picture”, yes, but definitely not winning the whole thing. The reason that “Wall-E” would be qualified to get “BEST PICTURE” nomination is because the film is both live action and animation put together in one film.

I really liked the story to “Wall-E”, it’s a love story where Wall-E falls in love with another female robot named Eve. A science fiction, action adventure story. What I love the most about “Wall-E” is the animation and the CGI graphics of the film. It’s indeed, Pixar’s best film. I liked the film a lot. It is a great film for all to see.
