Wrestlemania thought: Will Mickey Rourke help Chris Jericho win the match against the Legends at ‘mania 25? Brock here thinks so…

Everybody thinks that Mickey Rourke will interfere the “Chris Jericho vs. Piper, Steamboat, Snuka” match to help the Legends win, but hate to burst your bubble, wrestling fans, but I don’t think how that’s gonna end. To keep the  match unpredictable and shocking, I think there’ll be a little bit of a twist to it.

Could Rourke actually turn into a badguy, and maybe team up with Jericho? Rourke turns his back on the Legendary wrestlers and sticks by Jericho’s side?

There is NO fucking way, Chris Jericho is going to lose this match. I mean think about it. Jericho has got Piper, Steamboat, and Snuka all against him, possibly Ric Flair to join in on the action too, so that makes it 4 against one. It doesn’t make sense that Jericho could battle all those guys by himself, so it makes sense that Jericho is going to get some help.

I can’t think of no one other than Mickey Rourke to help Jericho win the match. Yes, Rourke will interfere, the WWE will make it look like that Rourke is about ready to punch Jericho, but instead, Rourke knocks out one of the other legends in the match. Creating controversy that’ll get the crowd booing.

Why would Jericho want to lose to a bunch of legends at ‘Mania? Jericho is a top star. Rourke turns heel and helps Jericho. WWE loves this kind of stuff.

This is not a match spoiler, it’s just a prediction that’s all it is. Feel free to write in your thoughts on this.

WWE RAW SPOILERS: Oh my, did Jericho just hint that Mickey Rourke will be at ‘Mania 25?

Major RAW spoiler regarding the storyline with Mickey Rourke vs. Chris Jericho….scroll below….

Well, look like it’s going to be Jericho vs. Roddy Piper/ Ricky Steamboat/ Jimmy Snuka @ ‘Mania 25 w/ Ric Flair possibly in the corner. As Jericho challenged the match at ‘Mania on RAW tonight, he asked Mickey Rourke to attend ‘Mania by sitting at the front row.

My belief, that WWE privately asked Rourke to be at Wrestlemania 25 to attend the event by sitting in the front row to watch the Jericho vs. The Legends match, then Mickey Rourke joins in on the match by costing Jericho to lose it. Rourke to be part of the action at ‘Mania 25?

Who knows. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Thought: Ric Flair to wrestle Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 25 instead of Rourke?

Since the announcement of Mickey Rourke backing out of Wrestlemania for the match against Chris Jericho, I have came to another thought that the legendary Ric Flair could possibly be Jericho’s replacement opponent instead. Notice when Jericho and Rourke were feuding together for a little bit, there was a lot of Ric Flair talk.

Although Ric Flair is a retired wrestler in real life right now, I think he’ll make his one last match at Wrestlemania against Jericho. I don’t think it’s possible that Jericho will take the World Champ belt from Cena, because John Cena will probably keep the belt until Wrestlemania.

The Wrestlemania 25 main event will indeed be Cena vs. Orton, so Jericho’s definitely out of the title shot at Wrestlemania even though Jericho will have a title shot at the next WWE PPV “No Way Out”.

I could be wrong again, maybe Jericho does have a chance at getting the title before Wrestlemania because there’s a few more WWE ppv’s before Wrestlemania. If Jericho does indeed become World Champion before Wrestlemania and faces Randy Orton at the main event, then maybe WWE will have Ric Flair as the special guest refferee for that match.

Ric Flair will probably make a short return to WWE to help stick up for his friend Mickey Rourke. In a storyline, Vince McMahon forced Ric Flair to retire by having a “retirement” match against Shawn Michaels on a ppv. In real life, Ric Flair really wanted to retire.

Even though Vince hates Flair in a storyline and would not want Flair back in WWE, there is still a way for the writing team to bring Flair in, like maybe have Shane or Stephanie McMahon sign Flair to Wrestlemania. I think it’s a possibility that Flair will be coming back to WWE to confront Jericho while he’s on the journey for the World Champ.

Thought: Ric Flair had two matches here in the Capital District?

Last night, I watched the “Ric Flair Definitive Collection” 3 Disc set, not the entire disc yet, but I only watched the documentary on Ric Flair’s life and career on the first disc.

I knew Ric Flair had a match where he won his first WWE title at Royal Rumble 1992 in Albany, N.Y. but I didn’t know he had another match in Troy, N.Y.

In Troy, N.Y. Flair had a match with Terry Funk in a hardcore match called “I Quit”, it was taken place at the RPI Fieldhouse at Clash of the Champions PPV during the NWA days, that match was named to be one of Flair’s most classic matches.

You can watch the “Terry Funk vs. Ric Flair I Quit Match” in Troy, N.Y. at the RPI Fieldhouse on the videos below. The entire match is not on the DVD, they only showed some of it in the documentary. Here’s the whole thing right here. Enjoy.

Report: Ric Flair speaks on leaving WWE and explains everything…

“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair finally speaks out to the media on the real reason why he left WWE. He explains he has no hard feelings against WWE and Vince McMahon. He loves the business very much and always loved the wrestling industry because wrestling is Flair’s life. Flair explains, he never stood on his own feet without wrestling and wants to move on to other things in his career.

What does Flair plans on doing in his future? Well, he plans to become a public/corporate speaker. He wants to do autograph session tours that he never got to do much. He wants to try and start an acting career in film and TV. He wants to see if he has the ability to do other things in his life other than wrestling. Like Ric Flair said in the article, he spent his entire life on profesional wrestling. He loves profesional wrestling too much, that the entertainment/sport is all he cared about.

Vince McMahon and Ric Flair will always be best friends for life as they always had been, like I said before, them two hating each other on TV is just a fun little storyline they are playing out.

Read this long article at the Post and Courier, it’s a newspaper in Charleston, SC. It is Ric Flair’s hometown and state where he lives.

Flair will be back on WWE TV, I know he will. I’m sure he’ll still make occasional appearances on WWE TV once in a while.

Flair deserves to retire, he spent his life on wrestling.

Thanks for the entertainment you gave us wrestling fans Ric! And good luck!

Report: An update on Ric Flair’s departure with WWE!!!

In the news of the wrestling world, sources say Ric Flair left on good terms, so it appears he has no negative grudges with Vince McMahon in real life, they’re all good and cool. All that stuff on TV where Flair and McMahon are hating on each other are just storyline stuff.

Flair is just frustrated how the WWE is using him lately. He thinks the WWE should promote and market his new DVD more by having him get more screen time on WWE TV.

Flair was originally scheduled to work with WWE longer as agent or a play by play commentator.

More on it here:

Flair had a great run in WWE anyways, and yes, I’m sure he will be back on TV when the WWE come to an agreement to whatever Flair wants in the future.
