While San Diego Comic Con is underway this weekend, WB’s decided to drop the “Justice League” trailer today. So here it is, the full trailer for “Justice League”.
I’m pretty impressed with it really. I really liked “Man of Steel”, “Wonder Woman” and “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice”. I thought all three were great flicks! All three of those films were leading up to the “Justice League” film. While all the advertisements omitted Superman, I believe they finally included him in this trailer above. The trailer teases Superman’s return. I believe that’s who Alfred was talking to when he was talking to a character “off-screen”… that was Clark Kent/Superman who Alfred was talking to; that was Henry Cavill’s voice, indeed.
So when are we actually going to see Superman in action in the film? Probably not until the very end of the movie I would say. Throughout the movie, they would keep teasing that Superman is alive and then we’ll see him at the end. Superman will join the Justice League group at the end of the movie. It’s not really a “spoiler” ’cause everybody probably knows that’s what’s going to happen anyways.
Anyhow, I’m pretty stoked for the movie. This is one movie that I’m most anticipated for this year other than “Star Wars: Episode 8”, “Stephen King’s The Dark Tower”, “IT” and “Jigsaw” (Saw 8).
Can’t wait for “Justice League”. Definitely going to see this one.
Welp, as I predicted in the past, due to the success of “The Avengers”, I had a feeling Warner Bros., is going to move forward with the, “Justice League” film. Warner Bros., hired writer, Will Beall to write the script, but he was hired secretly last year. It’s no secret anymore!
Anyway, I’m really looking forward to the “Justice League” movie, and I am hoping, just hoping that Henry Cavill will still play Superman, Christian Bale will still play Batman and Ryan Reynolds will still play, Green Lantern. I’m sure Warner Bros., will do all they can to get those guys together.
As for who to play the Flash and Wonder Woman? I don’t know.
I thought “The Avengers” was an incredible flick. Could, “Justice League” top it? With the right director and right script, they could. I’m sure WB’s will do all they can to get Christopher Nolan involved too.
More on the story, here.
I know everyone is getting sick and tired of superhero movies, but can you blame them? They’ve been huge money makers these days with Raimi’s “Spiderman” movies and Chris Nolan’s “Batman” flicks making a lot of bucks, I can’t blame Hollywood for going crazy with them. I believe that Hollywood’s goal is that they want all DC and Marvel superheroes to get their chance at the big screen. Not all of them had their turn at the big screen yet, and Hollywood is giving them one at a time. The Flash and the Green Lantern never had their big screen debuts yet, so I think they deserve it.
We’ll get a “Flash” and “Green Lantern 2” film soon ’cause the scripts will be handed to Warner Bros. later this year.
See the article here at, Deadline.
I was never much of a Green Lantern fan, but I absolutely LOVE the Flash. So I’ll be more interested in seeing a live action, Flash movie. Could John Wesley Shipp reprise his role as the Flash for the live action movie? Sure, why not. He’s not that old, he’s 54 now and that’s kind of young.
Is this the reason why “Friday Night Light’s” star Scott Porter, who plays Jason Street, left the show on NBC? Is it because he wants to go Hollywood and become a big movie star? It looks as though he is trying.
Scott Porter already auditioned for a role as Superman in George Miller’s “Justice League” film which the project is now dead. Now he is rumoured to be one of the top choices to play as the Flash in a live action movie of the DC Comics superhero. I can see why they would want Scott Porter as the Flash. Just look at his picture above. Does his looks smell Superhero all over him? Yeah, the way his face looks, he would look great in a superhero costume.
There are two other “Friday Night Lights” cast members that go back and forth to movies and to that TV show. Taylor Kitsch who plays Tim Riggins plays the main villain in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. Kyle Chandler who plays Coach Eric Taylor recently had a role in, “The Day The Earth Stood Still” remake.
It’s great to see Scott pursuing a career in acting of film. Hope a possible film career would happen with Scott and I’m sure he would start getting movie roles soon.
