New “Twilight” trailer!!!!

New “Twilight” trailer hits the nets. Look like this is the final one. The film looks so great, I’m really looking forward to this. Judging by the trailers I’m seeing look like the film will stay true to the story from the novel by Stephenie Meyer. She’s a great writer and a good storyteller. I like her style and creativity.

Enjoy.

He probably means a young female as a new Ghostbuster.

Who are they gonna call?

Scarlett Johansson? Natalie Portman? Maggie Gyllenhaal?

Either one would make me go see it.

Report: Empire Magazine’s 500 Greatest Movies of all time…

Empire magazine compiled a list of the 500 greatest movies of all time from classics to today’s films. They picked The Godfather being the no. 1 movie.

See the list here:

http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/10/05/empire-magazines-500-greatest-movies-of-all-time/

Not a bad list but “The Godfather” the best movie ever made? I love the movie to death, it’s one of my favorite films, I own the Godfather trilogy boxset on DVD but it’s no where near the best movie ever made.

Sometime this week, I’m going to come up with my own version of my favorite movies of all times that “I think” are the greatest. And don’t worry, there won’t be all kinds of Stallone movies listed. I love to watch all kinds of movies.

I’m a big movie buff and it’s something that I’m addicted to in life. I’ll start working on my version of “50 Greatest Movies of All Times” now and I’ll post it when I’m ready. It may take a few days for me to complete.

Report: 2 people watch 123 hours of movies in NYC…

Do these people have too much time on their hands or what? 8 people decided to do a challenge to try and break world records by watching movies for as many hours as they possible can. They were watching the films in a plastic glass house in NYC.

Only one  famous celebrity participated in the challenge and that is actress Susan Sarandon, but she dropped out and left on the last film when they were showing the film that she starred in “Thelma and Louise”. Look like she chickened out and couldn’t take the long hours anymore. Only two people were left in the challenge and they are Suresh Joachim and Claudia Wavra who watched more than 123 hours.

The Guinness World of Records just need to verify to make sure they did break records officially. The challenge began Oct. 2nd with the first movie being “Iron Man”.

I watched many hours of movies before but not that many. That’s a challenge that I would love to be a part of. I could break even more than 150 hours.

Another horror film remake. Come on Hollywood! Come up with some original horror films already! I’m sick of films being adapted from books and remakes from other films, come up with an original story for once.

Report: Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter gets big roles in Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland”…

MTV News confirmed Helena Bonham Carter will be playing the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway will be playing the White Queen in Tim Burton’s version of “Alice In Wonderland”.

MTV Movies Blog reports:

http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/10/07/anne-hathaway-and-helena-bonham-carter-head-to-tim-burtons-wonderland/

We already knew that Helena Bonham Carter would get a role but didn’t know which role she would get, now we do.

Film is sounding good so far.

I wonder who Burton is going to get for the The Queen of Hearts, The Knave of Hearts and the King of Hearts. I also wondering who’s going to play the Duck and the Caterpillar.

Is Danny Elfman going to do the score for this film as well?

I really loved the “Get Smart” movie, it was great. Hope they don’t ruin the sequel.

I watched the first episode of “The Office” for season 5 and it was pretty lame. I hope the show gets better than that later in the season.
