Report: Pearl Jam reunites with producer Brendan O’ Brien…

Pearl Jam who is one of my absolute favorite bands ever is currently in the studio recording their 9th studio album reuniting with producer Brendan O’ Brien. Pearl Jam and O’ Brien worked on the bands earlier work such as the Pearl Jam albums “Yield, “Vs.”, “Vitalogy”, and “No Code”.

O’ Brien is also currently at work on the new Ac/Dc record expected to release sometime this year.

I’ve said it once before, Pearl Jam will never make an incredible record like “Ten” again although the album “Vitalogy” came close to it.

Their last self titled album was pretty good but I hope their next album will be better. Looking forward to it. I’ve listened to Pearl Jam ever since I was a kid.

Report: More details on the upcoming Tina Turner tour…

Tina Turner’s first tour in a long long time will begin Oct. 1st at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. The tour will be followed by over 40 U.S. dates, she will be touring Europe after the U.S Tour is done, and then a few international dates. So looks like she’s doing a full time world tour, not just the U.S. Cool.

Billboard reports:

As soon as Tina’s tour listings are revealed to the public I will post ’em. This is exciting!

This is a better Diva comeback than Mariah and Madonna.

I’ve always loved Tina Turner’s music. Seeing Tina live in concert will be a thrill ride and hope she comes to Albany. I doubt it though.

Report: *sings aloud* “Would you write me a James Bond song, I said, no… no… no…”….

Pop star Amy Winehouse has pulled out of writing the theme song for the new James Bond movie “Quantum of Solace” for the opening title sequence. Her friend and companion who is also a musician, Mark Ronson said the pair started to work on the song for the film, but decided not to do it anymore because of her personal problems. She is still being addicted to drugs although visiting rehab in the past before, brushes with the law, and dealing with her husband in jail.

Ronson says that Winehouse is not ready to be recording any new music at this current time.

We’re never gonna get a new Amy Winhouse album if she doesn’t straighten her life out soon.

Amy may had her troubles but at least she is not as bad as Britney Spears. Don’t compare Britney to Amy ’cause both are totally different.

Madonna’s Roseland Ballroom live coverage in this entry…

Madonna’s setlist at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC tonight live coverage as I’m watching her concert at msn, the concert starts off with a turntable DJ getting audience wild in prepared for the queen to come out….

When the queen Madonna finally came out here’s what she performed for the night:

-Candyshop

-Miles Away

-Music (Fedde Le Grande Mix)

-Give It 2 Me

-4 Minutes (and yes, Justin Timberlake is on stage singing with her or lip synching that is)

-Hung Up (Rock mix)

And the concert is over. Yep, that’s it, just a 40 minute set. She didn’t even perform any of her classics in the 80’s. What a shame.

NOTE: Madonna is lip synching this show by the way…

Report: Yoko Oh-no still suing mad…Mrs. Golddigger fight over copyright of shocking Lennon video…

Yoko is still on the fight and still suing mad but something different this time. This time it’s over a video  that shows John Lennon before the breakup of the Beatles hunched over the piano, writing songs, smoking weed and making jokes about putting LSD in President Nixon’s tea (LOL!). She is fighting the rights over this to keep the images private and not be made public.

The Associated Press reports:

Dayum, she has been friggin’ sue happy lately. I keep posting the same pic above of Yoko because she looks angry in it. I post it when she sounds angry in news articles.

The way I see this…it’s not about saving John Lennon’s legacy, it’s all about the same thing that everyone else fights for…money money money money… Yoko aka Mrs. Golddigger.

Report: Mariah Carey still remains no. 1 on Billboard this week…

Sorry Madonna but Mariah Carey still remains no. 1 on the Billboard this week…

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003796535

How is Mariah so powerful in the music industry today? Disgraceful!

This has got to be dissapointing for Madonna fans, “Hard Candy” won’t reach no. 1 at all because Mariah will hog it up the next few weeks.

Report: Fans already lining up for Madonna’s concert in NYC today…

Madonna’s intimate concert at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC is tonight! Fans were already lining up yesterday, bringing camping gear and everything.

Read the story and see photos of this crazy day here…

http://newsroom.mtv.com/2008/04/29/madonna-fans-already-lining-up-scaring-us-a-little/

Was it really that cold in New York City yesterday? I know it was rainy and windy yesterday but it wasn’t that freezing.

While I’m sure the concert maybe live on the web, expect heavy traffic so it might be hard to get on the website to watch.

It’ll be broadcastesd live on MSN tonight at 10:00 p.m.:

http://music.msn.com/

I’ll do my best to tune in.
