Thought: Is Gary Faulkner an American hero or is he just a crazy nut job? My answer is here…

So I’m sure people are wondering about my thoughts on Gary Faulkner, going on a Rambo like mission to go hunt, Bin Laden.

More on it here:

So is he an American hero or just some crazy loon out for attention? I vote, he is a crazy loon. Why?

I know there’s going to be some point where normal Americans like him and there will be others that will try to hunt down Bin Laden themselves, but if these people think they can honestly do it, then yes, they are crazy.

First off, hunting down Bin Laden won’t be easy. It’s probably the most difficult thing to do. Hell, why do you think the U.S. Army haven’t even hunted him down yet? Because Bin Laden is hard to find. Bin Laden is in a good hiding spot. He’s in an area that only he knows that can’t be found by outsiders. If his area did get found, I’m sure it would be pretty difficult to get at him. I’m sure Bin Laden is protected by his terrorist buddies. Think how Bin Laden’s hideout would have a security system that would be hard to get through, plus with terrorists all over the place gaurding Bin Laden.

Secondly, if you’re going to hunt down Bin Laden on your own, don’t do it alone like this guy did. Something tells me that even if Gary Faulkner is back home, he’s definitely going to try again. I don’t see him giving this up. You need to know where he is and how to get into Bin Laden’s hideout. Plus, you need more armed weapons than just a sword. I think Gary Faulkner has been watching too many action films and he fantasized about wanting to make these action hero like dreams come true.

Anybody that goes out to hunt Bin Laden, an innocent human being like Gary, is crazy and insane. Let the U.S. Army do that job. The Army were successful of catching Saddam Hussein. Let them catch Bin Laden.

Arnold is too rich to make a full time Hollywood return…

I watched Arnold’s tweetcast “Q&A” session earlier today in twitter. The popular question that everyone wants to know about Arnie is, what’s next for the Gov after his politics run is over with? Will he stick with politics? Will he return to Hollywood full time? Arnold’s answer on the tweet cast, was…well, he really didn’t quite answer the question. All he said was, “The last thing I want to do is think about what I want to do next”. Then he started rambling on about it. He didn’t say whether he would stick with politics or go back to movies, he just said he will continue to help make California a better state even if he is no longer governor.

Everyone wants Arnie to go back to leading roles in Hollywood but honestly, I don’t really care. Love him, don’t get me wrong, but he had a great career run. Most of his movies were huge money makers. He ended his leading role career with the Terminator series which is a terrific way to end your career on a high note. Why mess it up? His legacy? He should stay retired and keep doing cameos of other films like he’s been doing.

He doesn’t need Hollywood anymore. He’s too loaded and rich that he can do whatever he wants now. Maybe he will decide to return to leading roles in Hollywood someday but if he does, I don’t ever see him going back to Terminator. He’s too old to be playing that character now, don’t you think?

Blaming the government/politics for obesity…

A lot of people online lately have been blaming the US government and politics for child and adult obesity. Michelle Obama is out there trying to fight obesity and so is Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger with his “Fit Challenge” month in Facebook/twitter.

Do not blame the US Government and politics for people becoming fat. I’ve said it plenty of times in this blog. The food you eat does affect your body, no matter what it is. Obesity happens because people think they can eat things at random and people don’t think they can become overweight. Look what happened to Kirstie Alley and Kevin Federline, two celebrities  who both probably had a horrible nutrition which is why they turned out to be who they are now. Another reason people get fat, is not enough exercise. Lazy people who sit around and eat all day.

I certainly don’t want to head there…I certainly don’t want to become a fat ass. Which is what also inspired me to get into bodybuilding.

So who is the real person to blame for obesity? Yourself. That’s right, you. Blaming others for obesity is silly.

The truth is there is no way for the US to fight obesity. It is the person’s responsibility if they want to lose the weight and get inspired to get into fitness. The truth maybe tough and I’m sure those that are overweight who are reading this don’t want to hear this truth, but anything that will talk you into get into fitness and get in shape. Anybody can lose the weight, easily with no problem. Just got to learn how to do it, take pride and passion in it.

BREAKING NEWS: Obama confirms mission to Mars…

With even more shocking news, this time it’s in the world of politics and science. Today, Obama confirms NASA will be able to go to Mars.

More on it here:

http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/04/15/obama-details-revised-nasa-vision/

We all know who the first man to stop on Earth’s moon and that is no one other than Neil Armstrong. Who will be the first human being to step on Mars? The first human being stepping on Mars would make world history indeed but to be honest, I don’t want Nasa exploiting Mars at all. They should leave the planet well left alone. Obama wants peace with Americans? Well he should let Mars have peace too. If NASA exploits Mars, that would make ’em terrorists.

My question is if they are going to experiment human beings stepping foot on Mars, how are they going to make it out alive? You can’t just walk on planet Mars with just an astronaut suit, that’s gonna kill ya. Mars isn’t the moon. They need to discover what kind of things that are in Mars where a human can survive the planet. Like what kind of air the planet has or the planet has no air at all. They need to know how hot the planet is to step on and all that. Considering Mars is the fourth planet from the Solar System away from the Sun I would imagine it would be fucking HOT. Not just HOT as you feel in the summer time, but if any human steps on Mars without protection, you’d probably be fried into ashes very quickly.

An astronaut would probably need some sort of protection suit that is very cold in order to survive that planet. I’d be surprsied if the first person leaves Mars alive. I don’t think Nasa will ever find a way for a human to survive that planet. Even if they do find some protection that will make a human live on Mars, you just never know how dangerous Mars is to be walking around that planet. What if some giant alien comes out of the ground and swallows you. Aaaaahhh, that stuff is in the movies, but still though never know if there are creatures on that planet. There could be alien life forms living on Mars, you just never know.

I wish Nasa luck. They’re going to need a lot of it. Stepping foot on Mars won’t happen right away, it’ll take years of investigation.

BREAKING NEWS: Good riddance to Gov. Paterson! Yeah!

This is the greatest news ever! Residents in New York will be having huge smiles on our faces today. Why? Simply because Gov. David Paterson is dropping out of the race. After claims of David Paterson saying he won’t drop out of the race, he can no longer take the heat and went out of the kitchen!

Will New York State ever get a decent governor? New Yorkers should be careful on who they vote next time.

Get well soon, rock star, Bill!!!

The news of rock star, Bill, was very shocking as I’m sure it shocked everyone else. Bill Clinton would have been a great president if he never had that affair with Monica Lewinsky.

I’ve always liked Bill.

Get well soon, man, and speedy recovery. Hope the heart surgery goes well.

If we lose, Bill, it would be heartbreakin’.

Kev

Edit: Look like Rock Star Bill is leaving the hospital today, so that’s good news. Glad he’s gonna do well.

BREAKING NEWS: Sarah Palin vs. Barack Obama for Presidential Race 2012, it’s ON!!!!

Ever since she resigned from governor of Alaska, she hasn’t yet answered if she will run for President in 2012 until now. The day after the Nashville Tea Party, Sarah decides to break the news exclusively to FOXNews.com that she is definitely running for President. Something tells me that she will have no one other than John McCain as her vice-president running mate? It’s possible and I can see that happening too. This is very exciting. Sarah Palin had my vote in the last election, she will get my vote again in the next. Obama better be praying and counting the time on the clock, ’cause his days are just about over as President. We will get our first female president no matter what happens!

Sarah Palin tea party thoughts…

There’s a lot of reasons why I love Sarah Palin so much. She’s honest and she’s not afraid to tell things like it is, no matter the consequences. Her thoughts and opinions may create some negative heat but the things she says, she means well. I also respect her because she takes the constitutional rights with a lot of heart and respect. She’s very strict about the constitution as you see of her on tonight’s Tea Party. She knows what is constitutional and what is not.

At tonight’s Tea Party speech, she basically bashed democrats and President Obama throughout most of it. She’s been bashing Obama for quite a long while. She’s not doing it because she’s jealous of Obama’s presidency, she’s doing it because she’s trying to expose him that he’s not the right guy for the job. She’s doing a good job telling it like it is ’cause more and more people are losing respect for Obama like they once had during the election. I never respected Obama, never liked him.

Sarah is always about the American people and being country first, while the Obama camp focuses on money and health care. There’s something special and very powerful about Sarah Palin. Which is why she is going to make a great president. At the end of the Tea Party during the Q&A session, the guy asked her, “President Palin?”…and she just said nothing, speechless, her face was blushing and smiling while the audience cheered her on. Sarah didn’t say if she was going to run for President but you know that is exactly what she wants and it’s the reason she resigned as governor.

Sarah’s an amazing politician and an incredible woman. I’m a loyal supporter of Sarah. I don’t care what the haters say. She’s an inspiration to everyone.

World War II In HD – BluRay review…

So last week, I bought the BluRay for “WWII in HD” a TV series documentary that was once shown on the History Channel. I picked it up ’cause as some of you can tell, I am sort of a politics and history kind of guy myself.

I watched this over the weekend. It has actor Gary Sinise hosting the narrative voice overs. It also has actual WWII veterans telling their stories from the past. It has actors like LL Cool J, Amy Smart, Rob Lowe, Steve Zahn, etc. voicing the veterans that are dead.

On with the documentary, it was very interesting stuff. Sad and horrifying at the same time. Before you watch this, be prepared to be grossed out. There’s a lot of gruesome material in this. All the WWII footage you see in the doc is real. You will see actual violence, real dead bodies, real people getting shot and murdered, people committing suicide, etc. They show all of it. It is no fictional movie that’s for sure. They didn’t show much of Hitler and Nazi footage though. It was mostly about the U.S. at war with Japan. It never showed the actual attacks of Pearl Harbor because it was never filmed so that’s why it would never be shown anywhere. The documentary showed battles on land, out in the ocean with battleships and in the air with fighter planes. It even showed the Nazis murdering people known as the Holocaust.

I hate most fictional war movies, why? ’cause I feel they ruin the actual war history by turning war films into pop corn action flicks. Hitler may be a bad man, yes, but I’m pretty sure he wasn’t really what he looked to be in movies like “Inglourious Basterds” and “Valkyrie”. I have seen many WWII documentaries but none of them were as good as this one. Those silly fictional war films like “Platoon”, “Saving Private Ryan”, etc. are nothing like you see in war in real life. Don’t compare fiction to real life.

You could imagine what it would be like to fight in an actual war. Like we’re at war right now against Iraq and Afghanistan. It is very frightening and scary.

I really liked, “WWII in HD”. Picture on BluRay is amazing. Much better and more sharper than regular DVD. For all you history and war buffs out there, I suggest you see this. I’m glad I picked it up and it was worth the purchase.
