Videoblog about my powerlifting adventures will come sometime next week…

So all weekend, I’ve been working on a test run of the video intro and video outro of my first video blog about powerlifting. Yeah, I’ll be having an intro and outro to all of my videoblogs. I picked out great music for both the intro and the outro that works perfectly.

I’m pretty much done filming footage for my first videoblog but still, I got to video tape myself talking about my weightlifting and powerlifting stuff. I’ve been writing the script for that on the Teleprompter app. I’m going to make sure that my speeches on the videoblog are going to be very well-spoken. I’m going to make sure every word is going to be spoken clearly and slowly. I’m gonna try not to mumble and stutter. If I do happen to mumble and stutter and mess up, I’ll start over again until it’s perfect. That’s how I do videoblogs. I’ll admit that I’m not the greatest speaker in the world but me making videoblogs could help improve my speaking skills. I’ll be filming my speeches over and over again until I find a take that is absolute perfect.

I want these videoblogs to be entertaining and they will be, trust me. Some of you may ask, is me joining the videoblog bandwagon an ego trip? I’m sure that’s what some of you are thinking but not really. My goal with these videos that I’m planning is that I hope to inspire other people and even help others with their dreams and goals in life. They’re not gonna be just about me at all. That’s all I hope to do is inspire and motivate others to hit the gym no matter who they are. I’m going to be talking about scoliosis a lot in these videos and think it’s finally time to start bringing awareness to that condition. People want to believe that weightlifting is dangerous for people with scoliosis and I want to help debunk that myth completely.

I’m excited to release this video soon. I really think a lot of people will like these videos I’m planning and I’m hoping they’ll get a lot of views. If not, oh well, I just want to get “My Story” told. I think it’s time to do that.

There are so many misconceptions about me and people always judging me and shit and maybe these videoblogs will help people realize who I really am. That’s what videoblogs are good for. Show people who you really are, ya know? That’s the goal. Stay tuned.

My video project is coming along well so far, I’ve been working on it all week…

I’m taking my own online documentary project very seriously and planning on making the first video well as possible. I’m thinking a lot of people are going to like it and may find it inspiring. I’m hoping it’ll get a lot of views. I’m just filming footage for it all week. Writing my ideas down and plotting everything of what my first video for the project will be like.

What’s going to be on it is going to be me talking about my life… starting from my childhood until now. Kind of like my own “autobiography” but doing it in video format instead of writing a book.

I think my story finally needs to be told. I won’t get too personal about my life but it’s mostly going to be about how I discovered music and weightlifting. That’s what it’s mostly going to be about, music and weightlifting. That’s the idea, ya know?

I’m getting very excited about this project and I’m already having fun with it. When will the first video be uploaded online? Well, once I finished writing the script and filming footage, I’ll start editing it this weekend so the first video probably won’t be uploaded until sometime next week. I’ve been filming my gym days all week. Gonna film my deadlift days tomorrow. I’m going to do a self interview for this video too and I gotta start working on that. The video could end up being pretty long like 15 to 20 minutes. It’s gonna be a documentary and online autobiography.

I think this is a good idea and I want to get it done. This video is going to take a long time to make but I want to make it good. It will be “good”, trust me. I think you’ll like it. Even all the haters that I have out there may even find it inspiring. It’s gonna be a cool project. Stay tuned, y’all!

My upcoming vlogs about powerlifting will be documentary style, almost like a reality show or something…

In the past, I thought about making my video project that I’ve been talking about with a professional film maker that I would hire. I realized that’s gonna be pretty costly. Hiring a local film maker to make a documentary about me won’t be cheap, I know that. I already have some pretty decent film making skills myself and I think I make good enough videos. I think it’s better to make the online documentary about me all by myself. I have a handheld digital camera which I haven’t used in a long time but I’m gonna start using it again. I also have an Ipad and Ipod Touch with cameras on them so I’m gonna film plenty of footage.

The documentary about me will have music on them, they’ll have me doing voiceovers, I’m going to film myself everywhere as much as possible, I’ll do my own interviews and all that stuff. I’m going to do this video project all by myself except I’m going to have other people film me ’cause there are going to be times where I won’t be able to hold the camera on my own. I already do a pretty good job making professional enough videos so I might as well do it all by myself.

Like I said in a previous post, I plan on buying a new Ipad and a new Ipod Touch for a much improved camera. I do have a handheld digital camera too, though.

This is gonna be an awesome project and looking forward to sharing my life story with everyone.

I’m currently filming footage for the project this week already. The powerlifting videos will be an ongoing series, I think.

Making vlogs without getting copyright pings on music, there is a way…

So I’m making a full time return to video blogging this  year. Only thing, I would need all kinds of music for my vlogs. I would love to put all kinds of my favorite songs in my vlogs but of course, licensing and copyright would be an issue. I want to avoid getting those annoying copyright pings through facebook. There is a way to add music to your vlogs, though.

Throughout the internet there are plenty of music with “free-royalty” where you can legally download songs and sound effects for your vlogs. Just gotta go through google and do your research which I have been doing this week. I want to find all kinds of instrumental music for my vlogs ’cause I’m planning on making my vlogs kind of like my own reality show, where I film almost everything going on in my life. Kind of like my own TV show for the internet, ya know?

A lot of internet people have been doing this similar thing. Making their vlogs kind of like a reality show. I want to do the same thing. I want to do vlogs mostly on my weightlifting and powerlifting adventures, though. I also want to do stuff on my music ’cause I want to get the music thing going.

I think I’m due for a new Ipad and a new Ipod Touch ’cause I have the older versions of those. I have the old Ipad 2 and the old Ipod Touch 4. The older those devices get, the more problems I have with them ’cause I’m having all kinds of problems with both of those devices when trying to make videos. Apple does it on purpose as a way to force you to buy new devices and I think I will do that this year. I’m planning on buying the Ipad Air and the Ipod Touch Generation 6. I could use a better camera anyways.

I took a long hiatus from vlogging but I want to get back into it full time. I just want to entertain my supporters and have fun and hopefully get even more supporters with vlogging.

Blogging on wordpress is pretty much dead nowadays. No one cares for regular blogs anymore. Vlogging has now taken over and I’m about to join the bandwagon full time. This is gonna be fun.

I’m gonna make a return to vlogging but it won’t be on youtube…

I remember in the old days of youtube, that uploading video site used to be fun to upload videos but not anymore. I used to love youtube but now I’ve grown to despising it. Why did I lose my love for youtube? It’s because I’m not a big fan of how they’re doing things now. Playing advertisements during videos but in order to play without ads you have to subscribe to youtube red. Another thing that frustrates me about youtube is the copyright pings ’cause those things are annoying. There are many reasons why I don’t like youtube anymore.

I think I’m going to upload videos to my facebook page from now on. I’m going to get back into vlogging ’cause I want to document my powerlifting adventures. I’m also thinking about getting my music thing going again ’cause I miss that as well.

I miss vlogging and I think I’m gonna get back into it this year. Vlogging kind of like my own reality show or something. Vlogging on the internet has become quite a popular thing lately and I think I’m gonna join the bandwagon. I have a powerlifting meet at the end of this month and I want to record all kinds of video footage leading up to that meet. I will record video footage on meet day on March 30th as well. It’s gonna be good to get back into vlogging.

Tomorrow I plan on making a small teaser about my return to vlogging. It’s going to be awesome and fun. Show all my supporters about my powerlifting adventures is why I mostly want to do it pretty much. I just re-installed Pinnacle Studio video making app on Ipad. Be on the lookout and stay tuned!

I’m definitely thinking about buying a bass guitar… probably this year…

For a long while, I’ve contemplated on buying an electric bass guitar and I think I’m actually gonna do it this year. I’m gonna get one this Spring, I think and I’m probably gonna do it. Why do I want to get a bass guitar? Well, when I record electric guitar rock songs, I’m gonna want to create my own bass lines to back up the songs with. Ya know, be a one man band kind of thing. I want to soon start writing full band rock music.

I’ve been teaching myself timing and rhythm. Practicing rhythm with a metronome and stuff. I’ve also been teaching myself digital drums and programming and things like that. With Acoustica Mixcraft DAW, I can easily create drum tracks with that software. With that software I could add MIDI bass tracks to it but I think it’ll sound even better with a real bass guitar, though. This is why I’m gonna buy a real bass guitar.

I’ve never played bass in my life before but you have already been playing guitar for many years then you already know a great deal of bass guitar. Both guitar and bass are pretty much the same thing. When I get my own bass guitar, I can easily create bass lines behind my rock songs. Even though I never played bass before, I can learn how to play it quickly and easily.

When I make my own full band rock music creating a rhythm section for my songs shouldn’t be all that complicated ’cause my music is not all that complex. I’m not gonna be playing complex prog music like Dream Theater or Iron Maiden. I’m gonna be playing just regular hard rock with the likes of Led Zep, Ac/Dc, Sabbath and Metallica. I’ll be writing original rock songs, of course. Playing bass guitar along with my rhythm guitar shouldn’t be that hard so I should do fine. To make a good rhythm section and good groove, the key is you have to lock in the bass with the drums.

I’ve been wanting to make my own full band rock music for years and I just say, “fuck it, just get myself a real bass guitar”. That’s what I’m gonna do. I’m not gonna buy myself a real expensive bass. I’m only going to buy one around $150 – $200 price range. I’m probably gonna buy an Ibanez bass that would cost like $179. Sometime after that, I’ll buy myself a small bass practice amp.

Another reason why I want to get a bass guitar is just for something different, ya know? I just want to play a different instrument just for fun. I’ve always wanted to get into bass anyways. I just like the sound.

I want to make a full band rock n’ roll album and I think getting a real bass guitar would be easier. I’m planning on making an album that really rocks hard. Big riffs, headbanging rhythm, long guitar solos, etc. You get the deal.

Some of you may ask, “Why don’t you just get another musician who plays bass?” I could but there aren’t many bass players out there and I don’t know if there are any bass players out there willing to play on my music. I’m just gonna do it all myself, I think.

Will I bring any of my old songs back into full band versions? I might bring a few of them back ’cause I’ve written a few songs that were meant to be full band rock songs and I probably will end up bringing a few back. I don’t want to bring too much of my old songs back ’cause I really want to be moving forward with new material, ya know? I want to see if I still got it in songwriting and want to see if I can still write new stuff instead of going backwards. I’m planning on getting back into songwriting ’cause I’m itching for new stuff and miss it.

Happy new year, y’all!!!

Well it’s a new year which is 2019.

A lot of people like to make the Holidays an excuse for taking a break of working out but no taking breaks from me. Honestly, I took a little break from working out in the gym during Christmas. Not a long one but a short one. The day after Christmas, I went back to working out in the gym right away.

I went to the gym yesterday on New Year’s Eve and went to the gym today on New Year’s Day. The 4 day a week routine in the gym continues. I did a good job keeping my 4 day a week routine going throughout most of 2018 and lets keep it going throughout 2019 with very little breaks.

I have to keep going with the gym 4 days a week. I love working out 4 days a week and it’s all paying off.

Everywhere I go lately, people give me compliments on my physique. I’m getting kind compliments on my bodybuilding physique by everyone I talk to pretty much. I get comments like: “Wow, you’re looking ripped”, “You’re getting huge”, “You got some guns on your arms. Damn.”, etc. blah blah blah… you get the deal. I feel honored and humbled that people like what I do.

Anyway, the bodybuilding and powerlifting continues throughout 2019. People may like what I do now but I’m going to keep going. Keep trying to get bigger and stronger. People think it’s impossible to get big and ripped without steroids and I’m about to prove everyone wrong. I love weightlifting, yo. It’s my passion and my blood.

When people give you compliments on your bodybuilding physique, you can’t be an egomaniac about it. I try to stay humble as possible. It’s nice that I get kind compliments on my physique constantly but I always feel I have lots of work and lots of learning to do. I’m just getting started, ya know? My goal is that I want to keep getting bigger and bigger. I want to look like those wrestlers you see on TV and I want to look like those action stars you see in the movies. I believe you can look like that. I just want that muscular look and I’m going for it. I’ve always dreamed of having a big and muscular body and you can make your dream come true. People will doubt you, criticize you and call you delusional but you can prove ’em wrong.

Anyhow, what are my other goals and new year’s resolutions for 2019 (besides fitness goals, that is?)

Well I’m going to play my guitar a lot more that’s for sure. I want to make more original music this year and continue to learn more cover songs as well. I want to make more music and upload it to the internet.

I hate making new year’s resolutions ’cause most of them never happen anyway but I’m definitely going to make what I talked about above happen. I’m going to try to post on the blog a lot more too.

As for 2019,  I’m going continue to be me and just enjoy life.

My lists of Best of 2018 for both music and movies will be coming soon. I’m thinking of making those lists in a videoblog which I think would be fun.

Hope my blog readers are having a good Christmas so far today…

bad-santa.jpg

I was meaning to post this but I’ve been busy most of the day today. Mostly spending time with family and all that stuff, ya know the deal right? It was a nice Christmas for me.

Got some nice gifts: “Red Dead Redemption II” and “God Of War” games for the PS4. Got a few movies on BluRay: “Justice League”, “Christopher Robin”,  and “Mission Impossible: Fallout” (or MI: 6). I also got some gift cards, clothes and other small things.

It was a pretty nice Christmas. Hope you blog readers out there are having a nice Christmas too.

I’ve taken a little Holiday break from the gym but not a long break, just a short break. I’m going back to the gym tomorrow for arm day. I can’t miss workout days since I got into power lifting and all ya know? I only took a 4 or 5 day break from the gym but back at it tomorrow. Just had to rest, heal and recharge.

Now to relax for the rest of the night.

When will the Best of 2018 music and movies list come out??? Probably sometime in Jan. maybe…

It’s almost at the end of the year and every year on my blog, I always do a top 15 lists for best of 2018 for both music and movies. Both of these lists will come out sometime in Jan. or maybe later on ’cause there are still some more 2018 movies I need to see and there are still more 2018 music albums I need to hear.

I love doing Best of lists but sometimes they are a pain to put together. I’ll get around to working on them soon though. Actually, it’s a lot tougher putting Best of Music lists together than Movies. The reason it gets so hard to think of best picks for Music is that it’s hard to find good music nowadays. 2018 wasn’t the best year for music.. I’m still trying to find good music, though and sometimes I stumble upon something real good. It’s getting rare and rare to find good music ’cause the music industry simply sucks nowadays. There are some albums I still want to hear that came out this year, though.

Both of these lists will come pretty soon. When I’m ready, I’ll post them as soon as possible.
