My jaw immediately dropped to my desk as soon as I went to Aint It Cool, seeing the very good news that Arnold has just signed on to star in, “The Expendables”!!! Is this for real? Yes, looks like it. 🙂 OMG!! I’m so thrilled! Arnold and Sly, finally in a movie together!!! WOOT! WOOT! WOOT! I’m so fuckin’ happy about this news that I could hardly beileve this!

Now you know why Sly and Arnold have been spending so much time together. AICN reports that Arnold will be playing himself in the film. Arnold will only shoot for one day.

Oscar history video where Stallone and Muhammad Ali presenting an award for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” way back in 1977, the year after the first Rocky came out.

Question: Could Stallone be presenting an award at this year’s Oscars for “Best Male In a Leading Role” to possibly present the award for Mickey Rourke? Man, that would be fuckin’ sweet if Sly and Mickey on stage at this year’s Oscars. Sly hasn’t been at the Oscars in a long time since 1977. I doubt Sly would be attending the Oscars somehow, but it could be possible Sly might attend. Sly and Mickey will be filming “The Expendables” very soon.

Report: Stallone tried to ask JCVD for “The Expendables”, but the “Bloodsport” star turned it down and explains why…

Jean Claude Van Damme, opens up on why he turned down a role that Sylvester Stallone tried to get him for, “The Expendables”. Jean Claude, claims that Stallone just wanted Van Damme to make him rich, not bothering telling Jean Claude what character he was playing and Sly just telling him that the action is going to be good, that’s it.

Report: Stallone buys Italian restaurant in Hollywood…Charlie Sheen and Danny Devito joins him for dinner there…

Sylvester Stallone is now the owner of the Buca di Beppo restaurant in Hollywood. The restaurant is located at the Universal Citiwalk in Los Angeles. Why did he buy the restaurant? Simply to keep his wife Jennifer Flavin out of the kitchen!!! (he’s joking)

Seriously though, I think the real reason he bought the restaurant is not just for the money alone, I think it’s so he can keep his Rocky Balboa lifestyle in real life. Last Wednesday night at the restaurant, actors Charlie Sheen and Danny Devito joined Sly for dinner to celebrate his purchase.

Report: Stallone confirms he’s planning to make Rambo 5, he also praises Mickey Rourke…

After several months of rumours and speculation whether or not Stallone is going to do a 5th installment to the Rambo series, Sly says, “Yes”. Only problem is, he can’t decide whether to do it in the United States or a different country.

Sly also praises Mickey Rourke for his success in the movie business. Some of you may know that Sly already did a movie with Mickey in “Get Carter”. Mickey next stars in “The Expendables” with Sly, they plan to start shooting this Spring.

So you’ve never seen a recent pic of Stallone shirtless? Well there he is. This photo was taken, Jan 20th, the day of Barack Obama’s inauguration! That’s Sly at a gym. He’s at Gunnar’s Gym, I believe. Sly is starting to get new tattoos at this age.

I truly believe he is working out extremely hard again for his next movie, “The Expendables”. Looking at this photo, he wants to be ripped for “Expendables”.

Another short paparrazi video in California where Sly and Arnold are leaving Caffe Roma for a meal together. Again, Sly likes talking with the paps, Arny completely avoids them. This is a new video that was videotaped on 1/17/09.

Why is Arny and Sly spending so much time together lately? Is this a hint that Sly is in negotiations with Arny to star in “The Expendables” too? Lets keep our fingers crossed on this one. Could Arny be the last surprise annoucement for “The Expendables”? Here’s hoping Arny will be in the film too!!!

BREAKING NEWS: Mickey Rourke joins “The Expendables”!!!!!!!!!

Mickey Rourke, the star of his latest film “The Wrestler”, has officially joined the cast of Stallone’s next action movie “The Expendables”. Rourke will play an unscrupulous arms dealer who becomes the go-to guy for a group of mercenaries planning to topple a South American dictator. The cast so far: Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Forrest Whitaker, Mickey Rourke, and Ben Kingsley. WOW!!! A powerful cast! 7 iconic actors all playing in the same movie with Sly!!! Sly must of seen “The Wrestler”, loved it so much that he thought Mickey Rourke would be a perfect addition to the cast.

I feel that Sly isn’t done signing big names yet, as I feel he will sign a few more big names. “The Expendables” will be a fuckin’ sweet ass movie!!! BRING IT ON SLY!!!!

Edit to add: I forgot to say something else, this is the 2nd actor in the film where Sly is re-teaming up with, Mickey Rourke also co-starred in Sly’s film “Get Carter”. Sly is not only re-teaming with Dolph, now Mickey.

Here’s another one of them paparrazzi videos where Sly is talking to the paps in Cali. In this video Sly briefly said he just signed, veteran actor, Ben Kingsley for “The Expendables”. He also comments on the death of Travolta’s son, Sly says he feels terrible for John, Sly and John has been friends for years (remember, they worked on “Staying Alive” together, Sly was the director of that film). And look at that expensive red hot car that Sly drives!!!! Wouldn’t it be cool if Sly got John Travolta a role for “The Expendables? Fuck yeah!!!! I doubt it would happen, but it would be great.
