Tomb Raider: Underworld is insane!!!!

I’ve played a lot more of this game this weekend, and yes, this game is just absolutely insane!! I think it’s the best game I own so far. This new Tomb Raider game stays  true to the earlier games  but of course there are improvements too. This game is a lot of fun and there’s a lot more challenging puzzles. Like I said, after I beat the game, I’ll write a more detailed review of this game.

“Tomb Raider: Underworld”, I think is the best Tomb Raider game of the whole series!!!

I’ve been playing a little bit of “Tomb Raider: Underworld” this evening, and already, I’m very impressed by it. The graphics are beautiful, especially when Lara is swimming underwater in the ocean as it looks so realistic. I’m already loving this game even though I’m just getting into it.

To you video gamers, I’d strongly reccomend this game for you Lara Croft fans. Seriously, you won’t be dissapointed! I’ll write a review of this game, once I beat this one.

I’ve played a lot of Tomb Raider games over the years, and hands down, “Underworld” is the best one.

Brock completes, “Resistance 2″…

Yes, today, I beat the game “Resistance 2” for the Ps3. I played it in the difficulty mode but still the game wasn’t really all that hard. It was a pretty good game but my only complaints, wish it could be longer and needs a lot more enemies to fight. I hear there’s a “Resistance 3” game coming out soon, so hopefully they’ll make the third one better. I still need to buy the first “Resistance” game which they do have on the PS3 at your video game stores, so I will buy the first game soon.

Yesterday afternoon, when I was at the mall, I bought another new game called “Bioshock”. It’s another survival action adventure type of game. The game was reccomended to me by somebody, so I saw it at Best Buy for $40.00 and picked it up. Don’t know if I’ll play “Bioshock” next.

I’m going to start “Tomb Raider: Underworld” tonight.

My Ps3 game collection so far:

  • Resistance 2 (game beaten)
  • Dead Space (game beaten)
  • Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (game beaten)
  • Grand Theft Auto IV (game beaten)
  • Viking: Battle for Asgard (game beaten)
  • The Bourne Conspiracy (game beaten)
  • Tomb Raider:  Underworld
  • F.E.A.R.
  • Soul Calibur IV
  • Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
  • Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
  • Iron Man
  • Beijing Olympics 2008
  • Gran Turismo 5
  • Bioshock

Yeah, I know, I’ve been getting myself quite a lot of video games already. Probably the reason is, I don’t buy movies on DVD and music CD’s much anymore. I’ve became addicted to buying video games.

I’ll probably sell the game, “Iron Man” to Gamestop soon because I don’t really like that game too much, I’ll trade it in for something else. I love video games, it’s one of my favorite hobbies right now.

Resistance 2…another amazing video game…

So I’ve been playing “Resistance 2” quite a lot. I’ve been playing it all week. Getting pretty far in it already even though I’m playing it in the difficult level. In “Resistance” you have a choice to whether or not you want to play the storyline game by yourself, or you can have other people play with you to help fight against the badguys. The action in this game is such a fuckin’ blast!!! So many badguys you gotta fight everywhere and so many weapons to choose from. Such an awesome game. I’m playing this game “single” player, by myself for now to see if I can beat the game by myself.

Killer game, just as good as “Dead Space”, and “Metal Gear Solid 4”. “Grand Theft Auto IV” was good, but that game was too easy to beat. I like going for the challenging and difficult games. Once I beat this game, then I’ll probably move on to, “Tomb Raider: Underworld”.

I love the “Tomb Raider” games because those games can be a bitch to beat ’cause them Lara Croft games have very challenging puzzles to solve, plus I have a weird fascination and animated crush on this Lara Croft character, I think most guys who are video gamers have a crush on Lara Croft, that’s probably the only reason why she’s so popular and iconic.

Thought: Stephen King better watch out, because Robert Ludlum is about ready to take over his spotlight!!!

Robert Ludlum, an author, seems to be the big thing in the movie business and the video game world. It also seems like Stephen King is no longer in the spotlight in Hollywood anymore. In the past, Hollywood were making movies off of everyone of Stephen King’s novels just about and sometimes video games get made off of his books too. Robert Ludlum, seems to be getting bigger than Stephen King, thanks to the Jason Bourne series.

I’ve never read any Ludlum novels, but it makes me want to start reading some. I think it’s a proven fact that Ludlum will be the next Stephen King of all media. I know Robert Ludlum is dead, but this will be a great honor for him and this is something that he would have of wanted, indeed.

Finally beat “Dead Space”!!!

So I finally beat the third person action/sci fi/adventure/horror game “Dead Space” yesterday afternoon. I must say that I still think this is one of the best game I’ve played in years. I really hope EA is making a sequel to this game ’cause it certainly deserves to continue into a series. They probably will come out with a sequel. Yes, I beat this game in the difficulty/hard level. Took me forever to beat the game but I finally did it.

After that game, I started playing “Resistance 2”, first person shooter, and that game is fun too. “Resistance 2” is kind of similar to “Metal Gear Solid 4” but a little different. So far, “Resistance 2” isn’t that hard of a game although I’m playing in the difficulty level.

When playing action/adventure games like this, I always like to play in the difficulty/hard levels, because you can become a pretty skilled gamer in all video games you play. These kind of games maybe tough and a bitch to get by, but practice makes perfect.

Later this week, I plan on picking up, “Tomb Raider: Underworld” for the PS3. I know “Tomb Raider: Underworld” have been out for quite a while, I just never gotten around to picking it up yet, I love Tomb Raider games so I will definitely pick up the new one.

The hell with the “Raw vs. Smackdown 2009” videogame, I think I’ll get “Legends of Wrestlemania” instead!!!

For a long time now, I’ve always thought about buying the wrestling game “RAW vs. Smackdown for 2009”, but fuck that, I think I’m going to get “Legends of Wrestlemania” instead ’cause in “Legends of Wrestlemania” you get to play all the legends of WWE who wrestled at Wrestlemania over the years. This game is part of the Wrestlemania 25th Anniversary type of thing.

Here are the list of legends that will be in the game:

  • Hulk Hogan
  • Andre the Giant w/ Bobby the Brain Heenan as manager
  • The Iron Sheik
  • Brutus the Barber Beefcake
  • Big John Studd
  • The Junkyard Dog
  • Shawn Michaels HBK
  • Bam Bam Bigelow
  • Sgt. Slaughter
  • “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes
  • Ultimate Warrior
  • Rowdy Roddy Piper
  • Bret “The Hitman” Hart
  • Stone Cold Steve Austin
  • The Rock
  • “Macho Man” Randy Savage
  • Ric Flair
  • and much much much more.

You pretty much get the deal, all the legends will be in the game. “Legends of Wrestlemania” is due out in stores March 24th of this year. This is a game I definitely plan on picking up.

I grew up watching the old days of wrestling when I was a child and this game will bring back memories to that stuff.

I’m definitely looking forward to this one!

Report: More Jason Bourne video games are on the way, possibly more Robert Ludlum novels will be made into games too…

EA Games has scored an exclusive worldwide license from Ludlum Entertainment, so they can have the rights to make games based on the Jason Bourne novels and other works by author Robert Ludlum.

The previous Bourne game “The Bourne Conspiracy” (pictured above) was made by Sierra not, EA.

More on it here:

Very cool. I’m happy for this news.

While “The Bourne Conspiracy” was a pretty fun and great game, I enjoyed it, but I’m sure EA will make the Jason Bourne games a lot better. I hope they make the next Jason Bourne game more challenging and more fun to play. I’m sure they’ll make the graphics a lot better in the next Bourne game. If they can somehow get Matt Damon for the voice overs for Bourne in the next game, that be sweet too.
