Thought: Why Mick Foley prefers to stay in TNA and not WWE…

Will Mick Foley, the hardcore wrestling legend, ever return to the WWE again? No. I don’t think he will come back to the WWE anytime soon. A few years ago, Mick left the WWE because he had a fallen out with Vince McMahon, didn’t get along with him business wise. So Mick decided to hang up the WWE and go to TNA instead. There’s a few reasons why I don’t think Mick will return to the WWE anytime soon. First of all, Mick seems more happier over in TNA. Why is this? Because TNA wrestling is simply not a PG rating. TNA is aimed toward the adult audience. TNA allows Hardcore wrestling with a lot of blood. That’s what Mick Foley is known for. He’s known for doing brutal hardcore matches that are a real bloodfest. TNA seems to be about that lately and that’s why Mick stays over there. WWE didn’t allow him to do the hardcore wrestling thing anymore ’cause they banned it in WWE ’cause of the PG rating.

Secondly, another reason Mick prefers to stay over in TNA is because the traveling schedule is not as hectic as WWE. TNA performs one show a week so that means less traveling and more time for themselves. Mick gets to write more of his books and spend more time with his family. Thirdly, another reason Mick prefers to stay in TNA is because a lot of his former WWE/WCW superstar friends are working over there.

I’m sure the WWE would welcome Mick back anytime he wants, because Vince McMahon still likes him. A few weeks ago on RAW, they plugged Mick’s book, “Countdown to Lock Down” which is a decision made by Vince. So Vince obviously has no bad blood against Mick at all. I would like Mick to come back to WWE, but to be honest, TNA is a good place for him to be. If he came back to WWE, the writers will mess up his character like usual. I sometimes watch TNA wrestling just for Mick Foley, not for the other wrestlers on there. Mick is a hero of mine and an inspiration. He’s one of the best wrestling performers and a good mic worker/speaker.  I wish Mick nothing but the best so I’m not worried about him returning to WWE.

If Mick does happen to return to WWE in the future, maybe if he’s the RAW anonymous GM after all this time, that’s cool, but I don’t see it happening. Mick is doing good in TNA and he belongs there now.

Report: Vince McMahon on TNA: the company dated Blood-soaked “Pro wrasslin”…

Vince McMahon the chairman/owner of WWE, finally speaks out his thoughts on TNA going to war with him in the ratings. Vince says, TNA is a wrestling business and WWE is “Entertainment”. He doesn’t even call WWE, “wrestling” anymore if you’ve noticed. He calls TNA blood wrestling and WWE family entertainment.

More on it here:

http://www.wrestling-radio.com/feed_news-15026-Vince_McMahon%3A_TNA_Offers_Dated_BloodSoaked_%27pro_w.php?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+wrestling-radio%2FkjyE+%28Wrestling-Radio.Com+News%2C+Results%2C+Spoilers%2C+Video+and+More%29&utm_content=MySpace

I’m not gonna bother debating on which company is better ’cause honestly, I like both a lot pretty much the same.

Vince is an idiot, like usual. Excuse me Vinnie Mac, but wasn’t the WWE full of Blood-Soaked “pro wrassling” during the early 90’s in the Attitude Era? Geez, how can Vince ignore that. Remember all that stuff between the Rock vs. Stone Cold, Foley vs. Undertaker, even Vince himself had plenty of bloody matches, and many more. The “adult” Attitude Era is what kept the WWE alive. If it wasn’t for that, then the families and children wouldn’t even care for wrasslin.

I think it’s insane that Vince calls his business “entertainment” and not wrestling, when the WWE’s matches are improving and getting much better these days. There is actually more “wrestling” in the PG rating, I have noticed.

Vince being the usual ego-maniac in real life just like he is on TV.

BREAKING NEWS: So who won in the ratings last night? Is it WWE or TNA? Ratings are in folks….

Last night was a huge night for wrestling. It really was. Something special that will go down in history for years. It was WWE vs. TNA in ratings for Hulk Hogan on TNA and Bret Hart on RAW. Which show did the best and got higher in ratings?

Click here and read for yourself:

Yes, that’s right. TNA got higher ratings than WWE last night. TNA never got this high before. Me thinks, it was the nWo reunion that drew people in. Last night’s TNA Impact was just like old school WCW, that’s what it reminded me of.

Congratulations to TNA. Keep it up!

Vince better shape up. WWE really needs to bring the Rock and Stone Cold back full time if they want to beat TNA.

TNA Impact vs. WWE RAW last night making wrestling history with Hulk Hogan vs. Bret Hart

Wow!!!!!!! What an amazing night of wrestling last night!!! Both wrestling shows “TNA Impact” and “WWE RAW” were really amazing. Making history, big time. Last night’s TNA Impact, their first Monday night show, marks the debut of Hulk Hogan who just signed with TNA a while back. TNA did a three hour special to compete with RAW. Yes they were competing and battling with them big time for the ratings. Hulk Hogan was not the only former WWE superstar making his debut in TNA, there were many others. Superstars such as Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, Val Venis, The Nasty Boys tag team, Scott Hall, X-Pac (Sean Waltman), Shannon Moore, and a few more to name. I never really used to like TNA that much, but last night was actually a really good show. The wrestling and the storylines were entertaining.

As for the Hulk Hogan debut, everybody probably expected Hulk to come out wearing his usual red and yellow ring attire with his “Great American” theme song, but he didn’t. He came out wearing all black, wearing sunglasses and fake black beard makeup. Meaning that he went back to his old Hollywood Hulk Hogan gimmick. The reason I think Hogan didn’t wear the red and yellow ring attire is because it’s, the WWE’s trademark and WWE owns the rights. TnA could get into legal trouble if they used the “American” red and yellow gimmick, that’s my guess. I could be wrong though, maybe TnA will actually use the red and yellow gimmick in the future if WWE lets them.

There was an nWo reunion last night on TNA. Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, Scott Hall, and Eric Bischoff were all in the ring, talking about reforming the nWo. However, the nWo name wasn’t mentioned once (another copyright/trademark thing?). It was an amazing segment seeing all those guys in the ring after all these years. They put on great mic speeches.

I was also watching WWE RAW, both at the same time. Switching back and forth in between commercials. I recorded both shows on my DVR. Bret Hart being RAW guest host was amazing as well. Bret still have the great mic skills and he was amazing last night. Look like Bret will be feuding with McMahon for the Montreal Screwjob angle years back. Bret vs. Vince McMahon for Wrestlemania? Possibly.

I plan to watch both TNA and RAW again this week. I’ll keep an eye on the ratings report to see which show did the best ratings. I’ll post it when the ratings report is announced.
