“AEW: Full Gear” ppv, I watched it and it was very good. It showed what wrestling fans really want!

Well, so I watched the latest AEW wrestling ppv titled, “Full Gear” last night. The card was pretty impressive so I couldn’t miss it. I wanted to watch the two big main events Chris Jericho vs. Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley ’cause I knew those two matches were gonna end up being the best matches of the night and they were. I was very impressed with last night’s AEW ppv. I enjoyed every match. They were all very good but like I said Jericho vs. Rhodes and Omega vs. Moxley were the best.

I’ve been watching AEW ever since they started with their very first ppv “Double or Nothing” and this company is getting better and better. Last night’s ppv “Full Gear”, AEW showed what WWE has been missing all these years: “wrestling”. That’s what fans watch these shows for… fans want to see good wrestling and WWE doesn’t give us that anymore.

AEW knows what kind of wrestling matches we want to see. We want to see matches that tell a story. We want to see thrills and chills and excitement. AEW definitely gave us all that last night which is what WWE has been missing for years. We want to see good wrestling back. WWE matches over the last decade or so has been boring as fuck… they used to be really good in the 80’s and 90’s but WWE has been crap lately and they aren’t getting any better even though they try.

I want to talk about the thrilling Omega vs. Jon Moxley match from last night, though. Their match was called “Lights Out” and it was an unsanctioned match so this match means anything goes. It was a hardcore match. It was a very violent and dark match all the way through and it went on for almost an hour or a little more. They were using all kinds of weapons, barbed wire, chains, etc. There was also a lot of blood too. That “violent” match was nothing new. We had “extreme” hardcore wrestling in the WWE back in the 90’s and there was ECW wrestling but “extreme” wrestling took a long hiatus until now. Hardcore wrestling is officially back and AEW brought back hardcore wrestling.

Watching that match last night Omega vs. Moxley, made me realize how much I miss hardcore and extreme wrestling ’cause I’m a big fan of that style of wrestling. You don’t see that style of wrestling in WWE anymore ’cause WWE banned it since they went PG. After that match last night, I hope WWE is waking up and realizing we want that style of wrestling back. During the Hardcore and extreme era in the 90’s, that’s where Mick Foley as Cactus Jack, Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, RVD, The Sandman, the two Holly Brothers – Hardcore and Crash and the Sandman were all a part of in the old WWE and ECW days.

Last night’s AEW ppv was only the beginning, though. I think we’re about to see more and more of Extreme Wrestling in AEW in the future, absolutely. When is AEW going to put on their first steel cage match or a Hell in a Cell style kind of match? I’m sure they will. They are still a pretty new company and they will give us their first “cage/Cell” match very soon, I’m sure.

I am loving AEW more and more and I think Tony Khan is doing a very good job. Tony Khan who is the owner of AEW definitely knows his wrestling for sure and he definitely knows what fans want to see.

AEW is so refreshing, though. So nice to see them calling it “professional wrestling” and not “sports entertainment”. That’s how it should be. If you’re a wrestling fan yourself and if you’re not watching AEW then you should. You’re missing out on some good stuff. Start watching AEW Dynamite on TNT Wednesday nights.

Now I want to start getting some AEW t-shirts soon and I will. I want to get a t-shirt with the All Elite Wrestling logo on the front of it. I also want to get a Chris Jericho shirt, a Kenny Omega shirt and a Adam Hangman Page shirt ’cause they are my favorite now. Man, I hope AEW will start putting on shows in Albany, NY ’cause I would love my chance to see them live in person. What they’re doing is really good.

I’m sure the McMahon family and the WWE are getting really worried now after last night.

Review of AEW “Double Or Nothing”… their very first ppv… overall it was an excellent show, I was impressed!!!

So last night on ppv, I watched the very first AEW ppv called “Double or Nothing” which took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. That’s the venue where a lot of UFC ppv’s were held at.

For a long while now as you all know, AEW is a new wrestling company that just got put in business and their very first ppv, “Double or Nothing” has been creating a lot of buzz in the wrestling world. I couldn’t resist this one and had to see it for myself. I just wanted to see how different they do things and yes, they are way different than other wrestling companies out there.

“Double Or Nothing” really was worth the $50 ’cause I thought the show was fucking awesome all the way through. I wasn’t bored one bit. It was phenomenal and everybody put on a great show. If you didn’t watch it then you really missed out ’cause if you love “professional wrestling”, you’ll see exactly that. AEW is exploding in the wrestling scene ’cause WWE stopped giving us wrestling years ago. WWE calls their brand “sports entertainment” and it’s more family friendly. AEW is more suitable for people that are older.

AEW wrestling really is a breath of fresh air. They gave us true pro wrestling and they called it “wrestling”. I enjoyed every match last night and wasn’t bored one bit. Even the pre-show matches and women’s division matches were really good.

Of course, the best matches of the night last night were The Young Bucks vs. Lucha Bros., Cody Rhodes vs. Dustin Rhodes and Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega. Those three matches would come down as classics years from now. For a long while now, The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega has been creating a lot of buzz in the wrestling community and I can see why. After seeing those guys wrestle last night for the first time, I was blown away. They really are incredibly talented and I’m glad they went to AEW instead of WWE. Speaking of WWE, that company tried to sign The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega but they weren’t interested in working with WWE so they went to AEW instead. Smart move ’cause WWE wouldn’t have used them right anyway, ya know?

Last night had some shocking appearances by Awesome Kong, Bret The Htman Hart and Dean Ambrose (who went under the name of Jon Moxley in AEW). They were big surprises for sure and I never saw them coming.

Some of you may ask is AEW at war with WWE? Oh yes, absolutely they are ’cause before the Cody vs. Dustin match, Cody took out a sledgehammer from under the ring and smashed Triple H’s throne with it at the top of the ramp. That was sending a clear message to Triple H and the McMahon’s so of course they are at war with WWE. Do you see what’s going on here? Fans and the wrestlers themselves want to see “wrestling” make a comeback since we’ve haven’t seen that in a long time. That’s why AEW is here ’cause they want to bring us “wrestling”.

Last night was an exciting show and I thought Tony Khan (owner of AEW) did a great job with “Double or Nothing”. I’m probably gonna continue to watch AEW ’cause I’m a new fan. I’ll probably watch their next ppv and I’ll watch them whenever they get on TNT network on cable TV.

Vince McMahon should take note, though. This is what we all want to see is “wrestling” but Vince doesn’t get it yet. Now that AEW is here, Vince is gonna do all he can to compete with them so I hope Vince is ready. Could AEW take over WWE’s spotlight? Yes, I believe they could. Wrestling fans all over America are getting fed up at the way Vince has been running WWE and now that AEW is here, I can see a lot of them jumping ship.

In the future, I can see even more former WCW and WWE talent getting signed to AEW. I can see more current stars leaving WWE and TNA for AEW. I hope Vince is ready for this.

Will Hulk Hogan ever sign a contract to AEW? Who knows. He’s currently back in contract with WWE but I can see Hulk going to AEW in the future, sure.

AEW is a pretty new company and they got a lot to do ahead of us. They announced the AEW Championship and I’m sure they’ll create more championships in the future. I’m sure they’ll have tag team belts, a belt for the cruiser weights, they’ll have a belt for the women’s division and all that stuff. I’m sure we’re gonna get cage matches soon. All this stuff will be coming. It takes time ’cause they are a new company.

Yeah, AEW is about to take over the world and they are about to change wrestling forever. Time to move over WWE. Still doesn’t mean I’ll give up on WWE, though. I’ll support both AEW and WWE.

Glad I watched it last night!

Gonna be watching “AEW: Double or Nothing” on ppv tonight… really curious about it so couldn’t resist…

So tonight I’m going to be watching a wrestling ppv on TV called “Double or Nothing”… which is a show hosted by a new wrestling company called All Elite Wrestling (AEW). As you probably heard by now, this company has been sparking a lot of buzz in the wrestling community and very quickly AEW is exploding already in the wrestling world. They are a brand new company and they are already getting popular fast.

Since I’ve been hearing a lot about this company, I’ve been keeping an eye on it ’cause I’m curious about it. I’ve been doing a lot of reading about AEW and I’ve been hearing Chris Jericho talking a lot about it. I’ve also been hearing the AEW owner Tony Khan talk a lot about it. The AEW wrestling company has some former WWE guys and some former WCW talent too. There are also a bunch of other new guys on the roster we’ve never heard before.

Keep in mind that AEW isn’t really an independent wrestling company. They are pretty much a national company who are in competition with WWE. It has been said that AEW is a way different company than WWE. The team behind AEW promises they’ll bring us wrestling which we haven’t seen in a long time. Maybe that’s why AEW is getting popular ’cause AEW gives us wrestling and WWE doesn’t.

The main reason why I’m watching “Double or Nothing” tonight is because of the Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega match which is the one to keep an eye out for. That match could end up being the greatest match in a long time but we’ll see tonight.

I’m also looking forward to seeing the rest of the show to see what AEW is like. Since AEW is not WWE, this is not going to be on the WWE Network… it’s going to be on regular ppv so I bought the “Double or Nothing” wrestling ppv early this morning and I’m going to watch it later tonight.

Yeah, I’m a pro wrestling fanatic and nerd. I don’t just watch WWE only, I try to watch as much pro wrestling as I possibly can ’cause I like supporting it. If tonight’s “Double or Nothing” turns out to be really good then I’ll probably continue to support AEW ’cause AEW is about to get on cable TV real soon.

I love wrestling and I’m not ashamed of it. I’ll review “Double or Nothing” tomorrow. Hope it’s worth the $50. I’m sure it will turn out really good but I’m sure Jericho vs. Omeaga will end up being the best match of the night. Looking forward to the show. ‘

WWE fans were wondering if wrestler Chris Jericho would return to the WWE someday. Jericho has been slowing down in WWE lately focusing on other things like performing at wrestling independent events, touring with Fozzy, working on his podcast and all that stuff that he does. Well, hate to break the news that it looks like that Jericho isn’t returning to WWE anytime soon ’cause he just signed a full time contract to All Elite Wrestling which is a brand new independent wrestling company put together by Shahid and Tony Khan.

To be honest, I’m glad Jericho has been staying away from WWE and he should stay away from them. Back when Jericho was on WWE TV, the WWE wasn’t using him right. WWE kept making him lose matches and kept making him look weak. In my opinion, Jericho did the right thing stepping away from WWE for a while ’cause I don’t like the way WWE is right now to be honest with you. Jericho is better off without WWE anyways.

On top of that, I love the stuff that Jericho is doing with independent wrestling like the stuff he’s doing with Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks. All that stuff he’s doing is pretty amazing shit. All these guys are doing stuff that WWE are afraid of.

I am noticing that independent wrestling have exploded in the wrestling scene. Seems to me that indie wrestling is doing better than WWE nowadays. Why is the indie wrestling scene so hot nowadays?  Why are fans turning to indie wrestling than professional wrestling like WWE? The answer is quite simple really…. one word: wrestling. That’s it. Indie wrestling companies give us wrestling when the WWE doesn’t. WWE is all about family entertainment so fans are now flocking to indie wrestling.

Kenny Omega is a pretty huge star in the indie wrestling world and the Young Bucks are getting up there too. I prefer Jericho stay indie ’cause he’s doing well.

I’m a huge Jericho fan, though. I’ve admired the guy for many many years ever since he made his WWE debut in 2000. I like all the stuff he’s doing. As for his band Fozzy goes, I’ve listened to them a little bit but haven’t bought any of their records… planning on it, though. I’m more of a fan of Jericho’s wrestling than his music.

Jericho’s one of the best in the wrestling business. He can play both the good guy and the bad guy quite well. He’s also really good in the ring too. I wish him luck in AEW.

Just watched the Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega match at Wrestle Kingdom 12… wanna see true wrestling then see this match!

The wrestling internet community has been hyping this match to death for a long while and I’ve been wanting to watch, but didn’t know how I would watch the match live ’cause this is a Japanese ppv event. This a Japanese wrestling company called NJPW and they have their yearly “Wrestle Kingdom” shows which is like Japan’s version of WrestleMania sort of. Well Chris Jericho was booked for a United Stated championship match against Kenny Omega @ Wrestle Kingdom 12 which just happened today. I think the ppv event happened earlier this morning ’cause it would be night in Japan… keep in mind Japan is on the other side of the world so the Time Zones are gonna be different obviously.

I saw the match Omega vs. Jericho and I’m like “Wow, what a freakin’ match”! I bet this match got Vince McMahon a bit jealous ’cause this match was 100% true wrestling. This is the kind of match you’ll never see in WWE. When I watched this match with Omega vs. Jericho, I definitely did not feel like watching a match that is for children. This match has all the things you’ll never see in a WWE ring: chair shots to the head, blood, flipping the middle finger, etc. In this match, Jericho is the heel and Omega is the baby face. I thought both men did a great job and this match will go down as a classic.

I’ve been a fan of Chris Jericho for years and my loyalty to him never stopped. Jericho does a good job playing both the heel and the baby face, but in this match Jericho’s heel character is different than WWE. One thing I like about Chris Jericho, he’s always great at changing his wrestling gimmicks over the years. Jericho has always been a phenomenal performer but this match was the best I’ve seen him in.

Take note, Vince McMahon. This is what wrestling fans want to see. It’s a good thing Japan knows what true wrestling is all about. This match was thrilling and exciting all the way through.

Will WWE sign Kenny Omega after this match? Who knows, anything is possible now.
