Can the Oscars ever leave politics out of everything for once? My god!!!

Last night’s Oscars was predictably the worst Oscars ever. A lot worse than last years. This year’s Oscars was even more political than last year as well. Chris Rock was boring and it was expected that he was gonna call Hollywood racist for not having black nominees. *yawn* There was of course, liberal politics all over last night. Last night’s Oscars was about the “Oscars So White” and race relations mostly. Last night’s Oscars also promoted sexual abuse (thanks to Joe Biden) and Climate Change (thanks to Leo). I’m tired of the Oscars bringing politics into everything lately. The Oscars are supposed to be about celebrating movies but all celebrities wanna do is spread messages and talk about the problems going on in liberal land.

Most of the awards given were terrible. I didn’t think “Mad Max: Fury Road” deserved all that attention ’cause it wasn’t that great of a movie. I was also disgusted that Sam Smith won for that James Bond song ’cause “Writing On The Wall” is a crappy song even though “Spectre” was a really great film. I wish “Spectre” could have picked a better theme. They should have used Radiohead’s theme instead. Of course, they had to choose Sam Smith ’cause I think the only reason he was picked ’cause he’s an openly “homosexual” man and you know how libtard Hollywood love their homosexuals. If Sam Smith wasn’t a part of the Oscars then they would have gotten called a homophobe.

Other Oscars upset was of course when Sly lost his Oscar to some actor I’ve never heard of before which is lame. Sly deserved it but of course the Academy didn’t give it to him. Sly lost the Oscars twice now. He lost back in 1977. Ah well… there’s always another time for Sly to win an Oscar so never say never, y’all. Keep in mind there is still “Creed 2” coming and possibly “Creed III” so there’s always another time for Sly to get his Oscar. I know everyone wants Sly to get his Oscar and I think he will sometime in the future. Maybe for “Creed 2” like I said.

There were a few good choices that the awards went to, though. I’m happy that the “Amy” doc won ’cause that was a good documentary. I’m happy that Leo Dicaprio won his first Oscar and I’m happy that the director for “The Revenant” won.

Another big upset from last night was “The Revenant” lost to the “Spotlight” on BEST PICTURE. What is it with the Oscars and Michael Keaton lately? Last year “Birdman” won Best Picture and now another Michael Keaton movie wins Best Picture which was “Spotlight”. Do the Oscars have a hardon for Michael Keaton? Seems so.

Anyway, it’s no surprise that “Mad Max” and “The Revenant” both lost “Best Picture” simply because they are very violent movies and you know the Academy was never friendly with violent movies. They always go for the serious drama films.

Last night’s Oscars was pathetic and I wished I could take my 3 or 4 hours back that I wasted.

Watch Arnold’s awesome response to Sly’s loss. Arnold uploaded that video immediately after the “Best Supporting Actor” category so you can tell he was watching the Oscars too.

My question is where were all the big name A-Listers last night??? No Tom Hanks, no Tom Cruise, no Brad Pitt & Angie, no John Travolta, no Alec Baldwin, no Dustin Hoffman, etc. All those guys usually appear at the Oscars every year but they were no where in sight. I assume they were boycotting for the “Oscars So White” thing is probably why. That’s probably why they had Joe Biden there ’cause they needed a big name to keep the liberals happy.

Leonardo Dicaprio surprisingly never won an Oscar before but I think he’ll get it this time…

Leonardo Dicaprio never won an Oscar before. It may seem like he has already won one but he never did if you do a little digging. He’s been nominated 4 times at the Oscars over the years in his career but he never won any of them. I think he’ll definitely get his first Oscar this year, though (sorry Matt Damon). “The Revenant” was indeed Leo’s best role in his career. In the past, I used to think Leo Dicaprio was an overrated actor. There were only like a few other roles that I liked him in. Other roles that I thought Leo was really good in were “Gangs of New York”, “The Departed”, “Shutter Island”, “Inception”, “Wolf of Wall Street” and “Django Unchained” but other than that, Leo’s best performance was in “The Revenant”.

Like most people I never liked “Titanic” as I thought it was an overrated as hell movie. “Gilbert Grape” is overrated as well. He’s starred in too many overrated films and that includes, “J. Edgar” which I never liked (and it wasn’t because of the gay stuff in the movie, it just wasn’t good).

Leo is a talented actor, I guess. He always has been. I think he deserves his first Oscar which is long overdue and he’ll absolutely get it with “The Revenant” ’cause once again, I thought it was his best role in his career. “The Revenant” will probably sweep everything at the Oscars. I prefer “The Revenant” to be the big winner over “Mad Max: Fury ROad”.

If you haven’t seen “The Revenant” yet, you gotta see it for yourself and you would see how amazing Leo’s performance really was. He’ll blow your mind in this movie. I’m definitely buying “The Revenant” when it comes out on BluRay, hell yes!

Film Review: The Revenant

Starring: Leonardo Dicaprio, Tom Hardy

Directed by: Alejandro G. Iñárritu

So today, I actually went and saw “The Revenant” movie starring Leo Dicaprio.

Plot/Synopsis: A frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820’s fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.

I was gonna wait for DVD rental on this one but since so many people said so many great things about this movie and how great Leo’s performance was I had to see it myself in theater right away out of curiosity. It turned out to be a beautiful and amazing film. It was wonderfully directed and beautifully written. The cinematography is pretty impressive stuff. “The Revenant” is a revenge movie and a survival movie both at the same time. As the synopsis says above it’s about a frontiersman (or a hunter) who is a part of the fur trading group and his own team stabs him in the back. It’s also a movie about war against the Indians.

The film was pretty violent, dark and a bit gory too. So this is all over the Oscars? Wow. Usually the Oscars aren’t too friendly with dark & violent movies but I’m surprised this movie scored a bunch of nominations. This movie will probably sweep everything at the Oscars ’cause the film really was that amazing. The music was beautifully scored. The action scenes weren’t meant to be entertaining… they were meant to be kind of “scary” and gritty.

While Leo’s performance was indeed really good as I thought this was his best role in his career, I was also impressed with Tom Hardy. Tom played a really good villain in this movie. Tom was a badass really. Leo was a badass in this movie too. Does this movie deserve all the Oscar praise? Yes, absolutely. Leo is definitely gonna win his Oscar for this role. To be honest, I was never that big of a Leo Dicaprio fan but the guy gained a lot more respect from me after seeing this movie. So I guess you can say that I’m a fan of Leo now. Maybe that guy has talent after all? Leo can play anything that throws at him.

Before trashing Leo about getting all the praise and awards about this movie, you need to see for yourself before you judge. It really was an amazing film and it’s definitely pretty high up in the top 5 films of 2015.

Score for “The Revenant”: 5 out of 5 stars as in “Excellent”

I don’t think the Oscar for “Best Picture” is gonna go to “Mad Max: Fury Road” after all…

I’m actually pretty happy with the winner results of last night’s “Golden Globes”. It seems that the awards went with the right people. I’m so glad “Mad Max: Fury Road” didn’t get the big win for “Best Motion Picture – Drama” last night. Instead that winner went to “The Revenant”. I have not seen “The Revenant” yet but will when it’s available for rental.

Here are the results of last night’s Golden Globes:

Winners & Nominees

I hate award shows but I watch the Globes and the Oscars to see what movies and stuff are gonna win awards since I’m a huge movie buff and all.

So it’s looking like that “Mad Max: Fury Road” isn’t gonna win Best Picture at all at the Oscars. It’s looking like either “The Revenant” or “The Martian” will get the Best Picture win at the Oscars, I’ll bet your money on it. It’s most likely that “The Revenant” is going to win big.

Anyway, I’m glad Sly won for “Creed” and glad that Matt Damon won for “The Martian” ’cause they were both great performances. Matt is probably gonna get another Oscar too for that “Martian” role. I saw “The Martian” in theater myself so I knew that was a great performance. Matt Damon already is an Oscar winner for his screenplay of the film “Good Will Hunting”, he’ll get another Oscar nod for “The Martian” for sure.

I don’t care for award shows anymore but I just want to see Sly get his recognition for his acting talent which he totally deserves finally. I’m really am happy and proud for Sly as I’m sure the rest of his fans are too.

Right-wing community goes nuts over Leo Dicaprio bear rape scene in “The Revenant” movie…

Come on people, it’s just a freaking movie, geez! I find nothing wrong with the bear scenes in “The Revenant” and like I just said, it’s a movie. I repeat, JUST A MOVIE!

This is just another example why the right-wing community has been driving me crazy as of late. They can be just as bad as liberals. The right-wing community has been outraged over this thanks to Matt Drudge and his big mouth.

I think “The Revenant” looks awesome and I’ll proudly go see it when it comes out in Jan.
